Availability is important to me as I often access these kinds of services when traveling. The foot soak time (20 minutes) is used for shoulder and neck massage. A bonus. Other customers shared the facility during my hour, nonetheless the environment was quiet, and the massage soothing. I asked for Ken, as one of the reviews suggested, and his hands and energy were strong; his therapeutic approach was apparent. Often, he asked questions about comfort with the pressure, and otherwise -- no chatter. Other reviews indicate that staff will question/challenge a customer who offers too low a tip, but I tend to tip well (20-25%), especially when people help me to do things I cannot do for myself. Foot massage is one of those. So, there was no issue about the tip. The woman working reception was surprised that I knew to request Ken, since I was traveling. But, I do read Yelp reviews thoroughly and carefully. The reviews make choosing so much easier. Angel Feet was definitely worth the money, and foot massage is rare enough to make this a destination. On the day of the appointment, I was asked to come in earlier. I wasn't able to, but said I could come in later. She agreed. I made the mistake of assuming it would be with the same person, I was wrong. The massage was just ok, it did not hit any of the same spots as the massage by the first woman, and I honestly left feeling upset and more tense than when I got there. Today, I did a 90-minute massage and left a 10% tip. Afterward, the receptionist directly told me that I should leave more because 10% was not enough. I calmly explained that the amount of the tip was my personal choice and that, as a regular customer, I have always left whatever amount I felt was appropriate. Unfortunately, instead of receiving professional treatment, I was met with obvious displeasure and an unpleasant reaction from the receptionist. I believe that customers have the right to decide for themselves how much to leave as a tip, especially when the service has already been paid for. A tip should be a token of appreciation for good service, not an amount imposed on the customer or something that makes them feel uncomfortable. It is very disappointing to be treated this way after many visits and years of loyalty to the salon. I hope management will take this situation seriously and remind the staff of the importance of treating customers with respect and professionalism.

He also goes as deep as the muscle will allow before it actually hurts as the muscle will fight back at that point. He also is patient and actually listens to your concerns.
