Breakfast was amazing! Served hot and everything was delish! Service from Karen was the best of our whole trip. Pancake was the size of the plate and yummy!!!

Coffee tasted burnt I tried to get over the taste but that was tough. The cappuccino was made from an old style machine, it wasn't fresh. Super sweet and creamy. Most likely powdered creamer milk. Oops. I thought I'd get an actual cappuccino. Silly of me to not see the machine beforehand. But some spots use these retro things. Breakfast was okay overall. Pancakes were good. Soft, warm and huge. Definitely liked the maple syrup over the blueberry syrup. I also liked their veggie garden omelette which was loaded with fresh vegetables. I was not used to having sliced black canned olives in my eggs so that was definitely new to me. Hashbrowns were quite brown and had a good crisp to them. We asked for extra crispy and they were warm and fresh. Corned beef was good too. Overall, a decent breakfast in a quiet part of town. They have a large menu so there's something for everyone. Service was warm and polite, it was appreciated. The decor was pretty neat in this old style diner spot. Will revisit if in the area.

My family has owned a cabin up near this area for years but this is the first time we tried out this hole in the wall breakfast spot. We started off with a homemade caramel roll and it was to die for and probably one of the best rolls I've ever had. I had the garden omelet with hash-browns and toast and it was incredible. There was just enough egg to compliment the veggies inside. Everything was very timely and the server was super knowledgeable on everything on the menu. For those who didn't want anything in the menu, they had a Buffett option that looked awesome! For the kids there's a little candy shop with plenty of old school candy. 10/10 recommend if you're in the area or just passing through! Helpful tip: they only take cash or check but there's an ATM around the corner

This place has amazing breakfast! The food is made fresh and with care, waiters are super friendly, and the prices are generally at least $2-3 cheaper than elsewhere. It's a darn shame if you don't try the "local" which consists of pancakes, 2 eggs, and choice of meat. The pancakes are homemade and nice and fluffy, honestly some of the best pancakes I've ever had. If you really want to leave the place full, go for the "riser". This plate consists of 2 eggs, toast, hash browns, and choice of meat. The next time I come up to Hackensack, this place will be a must visit again.

Small town cafes in Minnesota are awesome. Viddles and Joe does not disappoint. I was here last year for breakfast which was outstanding. And yes there is a wait. But worth it. This time I stopped in for lunch. Went with one of the featured soups, potato, upon waitress's suggestion. And man was it good. Housemade you can tell. Real chunks of potato and bits of ham. Thick and favorable. They have a nice selection of sandwiches and other entrees.

Came here for breakfast and got the local. I think I paid $5.99 for pancakes, bacon, and eggs. Everything was great. The pancakes were particular good, they had a great buttermilk and butter flavor. Nice breakfast spot up north.

After checking in to our hotel here at the Northern Lights Casino decided to grab a bite to eat…read morebefore the mma fights. I asked the receptionist if she would recommend the restaurant or the buffet? She said "the restaurant has much better food but it is pricey." We decided on the restaurant, it didn't open until 5pm so we waited 5 mins and it open and we're seated. First off the whole multi grain bread they offer as pre meal was nothing short of great and very tasty. As I am cutting for my upcoming fight I ordered the ceaser salad add grilled chicken. (The grilled chicken added an additional 8$ to the price of my originally 6$ salad.) and the girlfriend ordered the chicken Alfredo. My ceaser salad was great. (Can't think of much to say about a review for a salad.) but the dressing was great and grilled chicken was cooked to perfection. The real buzz was the chicken Alfredo, hands down could have been one of the best Alfredo's I have eaten. The sauce was extremely creamy as well as tasty. The chicken was perfect and just the right amount of added mix veggies that you could tell were cooked fresh. The only reason my score is 4 stars is because the prices were a bit steep. I was pre warned as about that, I just feel at a casino where much $ is spent gambling they should make more reasonable pricing. But to rate the food hands down 5 stars.
