I can summarize this place as: - old gas station surrounded by shopping centers and restaurants - modern gas pumps - old convenience store (c-store) - restroom needs no key, so anyone can use it - higher than avg gas prices Okay, I have not driven on Hwy 152-East (Pacheco Pass Hwy) in a long time, so I cannot confirm that this Shell station is still the "last gas" before Pacheco Pass. But if you need gas, snacks, drinks, or a quart of oil, then they have it here. I would be careful about the restroom. No key needed, so I saw people off the street using it. Why is this gas station's location important? Before heading east on Hwy 152, it's a chance to stop and get gas, recharge and take a break. If you're hungry, you get tired faster. A tired or sleepy driver is dangerous on the road. This station has a large side parking lot. The C-Store appears a bit old. Otherwise, I nice place to stop. read more

I come in 6:40am attempt to poor coffee. It's empty. I ask the lady behind the register as I'm sort of confused on where the coffee is, "am I too early for coffee"? Cashier: HUH? Me: Coffee? Am I too early for coffee? Looks back at phone with a dismissive tone. "It's that one".. Me, "it's empty" Cashier: still looking down at phone, "can't be I just filled it up" as I hold the nozzle all the way down, turn it the other way hold it down two drips of coffee pour out. She again looks away as if I'm the one that should make customers pots of coffee. Great way to start peoples day. read more

This is sometimes a good stopping point Shell for any drive down 152 that requires getting into I5 (such as for going to SoCal or Vegas) as this Shell has a reasonable price for gas as well as relatively clean bathrooms that don't require a key from the front counter (although bathrooms are outside). This Shell is pretty new and thus relatively clean, you will also find it attached to quite a plaza where you can find anything you might have missed/forgotten or left at home for the trip. read more

Nice enough place right before you go over the 152. I took a star off for not only no soap in the window cleaning bucket but 2 out of 3 window cleaners were busted beyond use. besides that this is your basic road trip gas station with a tiny minimart to go along with it. I recommend this place only to those going over the pass to the 5 to ensure you get to that next gas station. read more

If you're headed East through the Pacheco Pass on the 152 this is your last chance to fill up. More importantly, if you've just completed your journey West, this is your first opportunity to replace that precious gas when you're low, though it comes at a steep price. The gas prices were $.28 per gallon higher than in San Jose or Morgan Hill, so I'll only be purchasing their gas if my tank is soooo low I won't make it anywhere else. On the brighter side, they do provide clean restrooms and a well-stocked convenience store. read more

Idiot working there in the early morning. Pump takes my card, then doesn't do anything after that. I go inside to see why this is happening, & get " I don't know". Have used this station on the way home from work, but less often that the Chevron station near Walmart. Although the service is OK at this Shell, the location (near the highway) is a little scary, though if I got to this station it will be fro the side road on the way to Target, etc., and I will pull in to the parking lots nearby rather that trying to get back on the highway from the station. I've never had any problems as far as service goes, but I was unable to use my Shell saver (from Savemart) at this particular location. The only con I have for this place. read more

The most disgusting restroom I've ever been to EVER. I asked the teller if they will do anything about them and they won't. I asked if they clean them ever and said they just "hose them down" occasionally. How is this even legal? Disgusting!! Unacceptable! read more

This gas station served its purpose but the bathrooms are disgusting! We were able to gas up before going over the 152 but wish we stopped elsewhere so I can have the little one wash her hands without worrying of her getting exposed to something nasty. read more

I go from Cen-Cal to Nor-Cal pretty often and this happens to be my central point. I always stop here be it for gas or for snacks. The place is usually busy, but come on it is technically a hub of sorts. The bathrooms are clean(er) from what I have heard of my trip companions. I drove though and needed a chapstick. I stopped by this shell gas station and picked one up. I notice it was 2.49 price tag for a chapstick. I went to go ring it up and this Mexican young cashier dude rung me up...I paid for 4.75 for the chapstick....walked to my car and sense something odd about the price....I decided to confront the cashier...when I asked why the price is so high even with a sticker price Tag of 2.49, his response was because of tax....so I asked him what the percentage of tax....cause i was sure charged was more then 8%. He then looked really stupid trying to stiff me for a extra buck....he then just returned the difference....I just couldn't believe this dude try to stiff me for a buck....I could care less about a buck but it's the idea for of stiffing and cheating that Piss me off. read more

Worse shell I've been to! Don't be lured here by the fact that they're selling fresh produce! The restrooms are outside and super filthy! The pumps are old and in serious need of upgrades and the price of gas is like 40 cents more than the chevron by Walmart. Just off the 152, it is highway robbery! read more

This must be the worst gas station in town yea it is conveniently on the 152 but in the future I wouldn't stop here even if I ran out of gas. Seems to me like the 2 sales attendants make up the prices on items as they go. I had to walk back to a refrigerator to argue that 16oz bottle of water does not cost 1.49 but I payed it so I could go on with my day. after pumping gas I grabbed another bottle because my dog already drank one and I already consumed half. Mind you I bought the same bottle and now the price jumped to 1.89 I was livid I left 2 dollars and got the heck out of there. All to be stuck at a broken gas pump that pumped $25.02 in approx. 15 minutes. read more
