I needed to clean my car and looked into getting it detailed. I requested some quotes through yelp and received a message from Zip Thru. They convinced me with their reasonable prices and unlimited towels and vacuuming! The drive thru car wash was quick and did a good job cleaning my car. I wish it cleaned the under body better. However, to be fair, I live in the country and don't regularly wash my car, which is to say there was a LOT of built of mud and sand on my vehicles' underside. I purchased the mid-tier wash package. The customer service was great! I needed the attendant to turn on the vacuum for me at least three (3) times and he was ready and happy to do it every time. Five stars for the customer service during visits and responsiveness of the owner through Yelp inquiries! Will your house be easier to clean if you have a routine or if you clean three times a year? Likely the first and that is the same for your car. If the machines use more power, they may scratch your car or cause blemishes which will lead to more problems. Drive-through automated car wash in general is efficient if you have a routine. So no it will not get the bird poop off your car that has been there for two years.. I'm taking advantage of my membership and while the first experience was not as thorough, I can tell that the subsequent visits have been cleaner because there was less grime to take care of. I've been through car wash services where $35 pay for manual labor for people to clean the inside of your vehicle. However they will not pay attention to detail to cupholders and crevices as much as you will. Once you have a membership, your car is registered in their system and the sensors will recognize you when you pull up promoting a contact free experience. I finally made time on the weekend to utilize their self-serve vacuum and mat cleaner. The vacuum was not narrow enough for my vehicle corners but got the job done for the most part. Formerly the Chevron Oasis wash... Never could catch me here before due to a past bad experience. But after years of staying away, and finally a new revamp... I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. I used to pay $27-$32 at my local spot for a car wash and it always still came out spotted, dirty and no real shine. This spot has monthly membership options but I shell out about $15 per visit as a non-member. A pretty good bang for your buck if you ask me! Nice high powered water guns really get the gunk off my windows and rims... thick foamy soap ensures the clean shine and they even offer tire treatment! Not to mention they offer free vacuum use after the wash--my old spot made me pay extra for that! Honestly it's not perfect, but it's pretty decent. My car always leaves shiny and fresh. I usually go for the middle priced one at $10. You were able to vacuum your car for free. However, the vacuum suction isn't the greatest. I have utilize this car washed three times. The reason being it was on my way to where I was going, which made it convenient. I definitely wouldn't drive out of my way. The wash is OK, it gets the job done. I have been to a few Zip Thru Car Washes in San Jose and they were great. Good powerful vacuums , towels, window cleaner and shade for you to get the job done. And very nice attendants as well. I live in Morgan Hill so on my day off I figured I would go to this location. At this location the wash tunnel was very short. It didn't do a very good job at all. There was no towels no shade and the vacuums wouldn't even pick up crumbs off the floor. Not to mention that the nozzle kept coming off the hose. I moved to a different vacuum and had to ask the attendant to turn it on for me. Then after about 5 minutes it shut off. Also I was standing in a puddle of nasty water trying to clean my car. Then how do I get back in without getting any gunk in the car? Terrible experience all around. I gave up and left. Waste of time and energy. I guess I will stick to the San Jose locations from now on. read more

This place is located right off of 101 at Leavesley Road and very close to my office. They've recenty added a drive through car wash which is really the main reason I stop here every once in awhile. The guys who work the car wash are super nice and didn't laugh at me when I didn't put my car in nutral and keept my foot on the break. Okay okay, it had been awhile since I'd been through one of these! I have the $35 unlimited subscription. Last week I went through the wash and it didn't even get the bird poop off the window! It was better before when the guys would use the brush manually before you went through it. You also don't have the bug spray anymore? Seems like you and all the other businesses these days are getting cheaper. Good place to go after the shopping malls on the other side of 101 drive past the first intersection w the chevron and the arco which have the automated machines. Hand wash using power washer and he uses the broken car wash dryer to air dry first then hand dries the rest. Great car wash. Better than the automated washes which leave water spots. loved this place, but after their remodeling started the prewash / rinse before the soap was disappeared... now you drive into the wash dry, soap is sprayed but not enough to completely cover the hood then you get the dry strips with whatever soap from the last wash you're lucky enough tovget is left over, rubbing your vehicle. you can hear it. all they had to do is get it wet outside before u drove in like they used to but no. they know and decided for their own reasons it's not something they wish to change so I am cancelling my 4 memberships and moving them to gilroy express by safeway.... out of my way but this isnt gonna change so if you like your paint not being scratched up choose wisely. go through and judge fir yourself. As a mom of 4 and having a very messy car all the time, Oasis offers me the convenience of having a clean car at such a low monthly price. They offer free vacuum services to anyone who gets a car wash (one time or monthly plan) and a free mat cleaner machine to monthly membership holders! I have NOTHING bad to say, just all good. I love the guys who work there, they always receive me with a smile and always make my kids laugh. In the middle of such scary times it nice to have nice people. We go there everyday and won't stop. However, this place doesn't use the rubber washers, theirs are cloth like washers so the wear and tear is becoming more visible. As my car was in the rails and my car was being pulled by the machine. During the process my tire popped. The management was very unprofessional especially Paul. They did nothing to help with the matter and swore up and down like they were tire professionals. They had no experience with tires. They kept saying my tire was defective. On 5/28 The Drivers Side mirror on my 2008 Tundra was broken by the spinning cloth wraps inside this carwash. I immediately spoke with Hugo the onsite "manager" at the Chevron station where the wash is. He took photos of the mirror and a video. He then said he texted them to "corporate." He told me someone would get back to me shortly. 2 days later I spoke with Paul the "manager" of the wash. Paul told me he would review the photos and get back to me. It is now June 16th I have had ZERO contact from anyone in the organization. They only receive text messages and voicemail messages None of which have been responded to other than an automated response that says "We have received you text." The mirror on my truck is $901 not including Installation. I am certain that they have cameras in the tunnel of the wash and can verify that I am not making this up or that my mirror was damaged prior to the wash. I'm also certain they have insurance for exactly this type of situation. I have left messages stating that I would be willing to purchase the correct OEM mirror online for only $651 and install it myself but ZERO response. This is a terrible way to run a business. Simply waiting to see if I will give up and go away appears to be their strategy. That will not happen. I have contacted the western Carwash Association as well as posting on the carwash group TOPWASH on Facebook (with 30k members) to help identify the owner of this wash and get them to do the right thing. We will see what happens. In the mean time be warned... If something goes wrong here they will NOT take any responsibility. Took my car wash to this place and half bottom of my car was still dirty. Talked to Hugo the Manager and he said that is the way the cars are washed and that there is nothing he can do anout it. That you would have to ckean the bottom part yourself. He himself said that all the people complain about it and theres nothing he can do. So if you want a half washed car take it to Chevorn. I never had this problem before and I washed my car for years here and Hugo had the nerve to say the car will not be clean after a wash there. He didnt even offer a refund or another wash through. Situated down the block from the outlets, across the street from Black Bear Diner, and kitty cornered to a Rotten Robbie, I was very surprised at the affordability of this gas station that seemed to be centrally located in the middle of everything.. Desperate for a gas station to fill up my tank for the drive home, it could've been some generic place with watered down gas for all I cared, but to my surprise... it was Chevron with Techron that was the cheapest answer to my prayers! Cheapest Chevron gas in Gilroy for sure! Great prices (especially if you have the Chevron card). The station is nice - updated, clean, lots of pump stations and always on sale energy drinks. The carwash is new and super good. It gets busy, A) the good deals and B) the not-so-great entrances/exits. Be prepared for a longer fill up experience (hence my 4 stars). read more
