Food Ordered the Gourmet Colossal Rib Pho (Pho Suon Bo). This bowl shocked me completely. The bowl itself is massive and poking out is this giant bone and bunch of nicely sliced rib meat. Their pho is the best I've had! Good tasty broth, that they serve with spices and sides that you can level up to your desired taste. They also served it with dough sticks which I've never had with pho before. The broth complements the dough sticks! Good balance between salt and savory. The egg rolls were okay. This place has went downhill the past year. Literally paid $20 for a bowl of nothing but noodles. 3 small pieces of meat, and 2 small pork blood cubes. I want to start out by saying that the food was absolutely amazing. Easily some of the most flavorful pho I've ever had. The portion sizes were BIG. Two people could very easily share a large bowl. The spring rolls were clearly made in house and very good. The restaurant itself is clean and modern. The only reason took off a star was service. It felt like we were always having to hunt down the server. I noticed that the tables around us were having the same problem. The servers were friendly enough, just not very present or attentive. I saw this place while driving and I was excited to see Vietnamese cuisine in this part of town finally! They are currently having a soft opening so you will need an EventBrite ticket to get in otherwise no walk-ins for now. Everything is 50% yet To-go orders will be full priced. - Pho with tendon and chicken - Shaking Beef with steamed rice - Smoky Grilled Chicken with steamed rice We wanted to try the bulgogi banh mi but they were out, maybe next time. The grilled meat platters came with a side of pho broth which gave a good idea in how the pho would taste. The shaking beef was very tender, pink inside I do think it could've been cooked a bit more but it was good and has a hint of sweetness. It was fresh. The smoky grilled chicken is just lemon grass chicken and usually we see it sliced at restaurants but these were whole thigh pieces and the taste was light and tasty. I am not really a fan of grilled thigh meat yet I did enjoy this. This also has a hint of sweet. The pho I heard was delicious. The portion seemed a bit smaller than expected but since this was half off this was very fair. If full price was paid, I'd say the portion was smaller than medium. The grilled meat platters came with a side of pho broth and I will say this isn't the usual broth. I guess it's Hanoi style being that it is more on the sweeter side? Regular pho imo is usually just savory and salty but this pho broth was on the sweeter side you can tell more rock sugar is added than typical pho from other places. All in all, I'd come back in the future to take banh mi to go and maybe have pho. If you are not a fan of sweeter pho broth I'd just give a disclaimer. The interior is simple yet cute and the customer service is really nice. Due to it just being opened a lot of stuff was forgotten one dish wasn't made with the rest of the food but that's okay they were just really nice and accommodating. Found this place over a year ago less than five minutes from my house. I've always loved Pho and theirs is the best and best seasoned broth I've ever had. But it doesn't stop there. It also had brisket in it and their noodles were wider than the normal pho noodles. Flavor was good. Not as strong flavors like other pho places but it was distinctive and had its own flavor. More spices would be good? Nonetheless it was a great bowl of pho and so much meat! My gf had the pick your pho bowl and she enjoyed it. My niece had the wonton noodle soup and she said it was good. I really like this restaurant because it reminds me of the rice noodles back home in China. I used to feel very happy every time I came here. But recently, this is the second time I've felt upset. The first time was when I encountered a new Vietnamese staff member--tall, slightly balding, without glasses. I don't know his name. He kept asking for my personal information and insisted on getting my contact details, which made me very uncomfortable. On top of that, he messed up my order. I asked for thick rice noodles, which I like, but he gave me the thin ones instead. Today was the second time. I clearly told him again that I wanted thick noodles, but he still gave me the thin ones. I also asked for extra noodles because I planned to share the meal with my friend. I wouldn't mind paying more, but the portion was clearly only for one person--it wasn't enough at all. Lastly, the takeout container wasn't sealed properly. The soup spilled all over my car while I was driving, which really frustrated me. I hope the owner can be made aware of these issues and take steps to improve the service. The ambiance inside was very nice, but chaotic as the servers were scrambling to get to all of the orders. I ordered their Viet culture's legacy pho which the broth had barely any flavor-- almost tasting like water-- so it was in desperate need of hoisin and Siracha. However their brisket was incredibly tender and easily the most enjoyable part of the dish. I also ordered their Vietnamese wings which were decent. The wings were soggy, and very small to where it reminded me of Wingstop with how small the wings are with barely any meat. The last menu item that I ordered was their grilled pork vermicelli bowl which tasted pretty good. The pork was very sweet, which I enjoyed a lot. So, if I came here again I would definitely order the vermicelli bowl. In my opinion, this place was not worth my time or money. Nothing was great or memorable. Everything we ordered was either bad or just ok at best. There were no Vietnamese herbs at all, only lettuce (plus the noodles and meats). The cha gio was definitely pre-fried because it arrived at our table at about room temperature. Com Tam Dac Biet - small portion, pork chop very dry, rice felt like it was leftover from the day before. But, the bi (shredded pork/skin) was not bad. Bo Ne - don't expect a "sizzling" plate; it was not even hot enough to hurt my fingers. The egg was raw! We had to ask them to take it back to cook some more. They ended up making a whole new dish - which was nice - but they forgot we wanted the pate on the side. Hu Tieu Sa Te - not much flavor but it was probably the most decent thing from our entire order. Hu Tieu My Tho Kho - came completely dry! They forgot the sauce for the noodles. Went here with a friend this past Sunday (yesterday) for their soft opening (promo of 50% off entire check) that required an EventBrite reservation. The waitstaff was super tired because they had been on their feet nonstop for the entire soft opening. They also noted that they had run out of food due to the popularity of their soft opening event. They had to make a new menu with limited entrees/appetizers/drinks to reflect the food offerings they actually had. They used a different cut of pork for the goi cuon rolls than what I was used to, which was more flavorful than the typical goi cuon I order from other Vietnamese restaurants. The pho broth was good, like a 4/5 in my opinion. Or I could have just been very hungry. The shaking beef with broken rice was mediocre. I don't even think they used broken rice? They might have run out of that too. The friend I went with was Vietnamese, and he thought all of the food was mid. We both ordered Saigon iced coffee, and it was extremely strong, which I liked. They also served us pandan swiss roll cake with durian creme inside, which I was also a fan of. I think if I were to return, it would just be for their drinks and sweets, unless they improve the flavor of the actual entrees. It was super busy in there. I hope they can recover from the hardships of the soft opening and remain as popular as they were during the promotion. We visited at lunch, it was a little busy but were seated promptly. We ordered Firecracker Shrimp appetizer. Entrees were the grilled shrimp, came with a soup, fried rice, tomato slices and julienne radish and carrots. We also had the wonton soup.
