The appointment started on time and the young man that assisted my lad did a thorough job, watching him hit and taking measurements (they should have some shafts fitted with jumbo grips, though...as my 6 footer needs them). I had clubs made there for me a number of years back, and the process was similar. Once done, we finished our selections, and the order was submitted...all in all about an hour+ process. Easy peasy. Reasonably priced for custom Taylormades - around $900 (for the irons...add another $5-600 for woods. Then add putter. A bag. Inexpensive sport...lol...ya gotta love it. Good place. Nice folks. I told him I've hit my friend's irons pretty well who were +0.5" longer than standard. I tried a few different game improve irons while there and landed on TM Sim 2 irons. He insisted I should go with a half inch shorter than standard which I could not fathom how that could be...He said this was due to my swing path, I hit them okay during her fitting and to this day I really can't hit them consistently. For reference I am 6'3" and have long arms and legs. Not sure if that guy still works there or not but I would steer clear of him and ask for someone else for anything fitting related. I have since went elsewhere and got fit for TM P790s with that +0.5" shaft length and I am a much happier camper.

While putting is typically the golfer, not the equipment, it's still important to have the equipment be setup correctly. I have a circle T putter so I needed to find someone I trusted to bend the putter flat. Found Club Champion last minute and Tommy took the time to carefully tape and bend my putter more flat for me. I feel confident in the adjustment he made for me and now if I'm still putting poorly, I know it's me, not the equipment. Had a nice chat with Tommy after too, very friendly. He brought out a few pair in men's sizes but didn't seem to have too many in women's sizes. When it comes to purchasing gloves you just can't go by the measurements of your hand. My salesman was kind enough to let me try on a few for fit and I was able to get my correct size. I found that the pair I wanted wasn't available in the store in a women's size so he ended up ordering it online for me. What made it nice was that the store price was cheaper than the online price so he price matched that for me. Dick's does do price matching if you see something somewhere else. They carry all types of sporting goods for all seasons as well as clothes, shoes, and sporting goods accessories. My battery operated heated gloves has a two month return window on them which will give me an opportunity to see how they work in cold weather. Located in the mall of Robinson they have their own parking lot.

Currently, the cost for the putt putt is $8 per adult and $5 per child aged 13 and under. When we paid our fees for the putt putt, the employee promptly and politely served us. The putt-putt course was not the most interesting that I have ever played, but my husband and I had fun with it. We skipped one hole because it was covered in some rain or other water, but the other holes were in good condition. After we finished our putt-putt game, I returned to the employee to purchase a small Hershey's ice cream. She again served us very promptly and politely. I had chosen the Orange Blossom flavor, which contained vanilla ice cream and orange sherbet, and I enjoyed it.
