They offered plenty of different versions for your need. She asked for my weight and recommended a transport wheelchair. I needed it for the weekend but the shortest rental was one week. Cost $35. To reserve, I must pay over the phone but no obligation if you decide to cancel, you'll get a refund. I came the next day, liked what I saw. It was compact, easily stored in a back of a trunk and the foot rest comes off. The wheelchair width and size was perfect, we stood in many lines and it was slim enough to fit through. The only cons, was that you get what you pay for. I would recommend to upgrade to the next level and get the heavy duty to get stronger wheels. One of the wheels was acting up and kept flickering out of alignment which made it harder to push and annoying. The material also felt cheap. I'm glad the chair withstand the heavy handling of airport personnel. I was happy with the wheelchair service that we came back a week later to rent 2 for my aunt and uncle for a family trip.

There are not enough stars for Ashley Medical…read more I know Ashley Medical has devices for humans but they also have help for your pets. I ordered an oxygen concentrator online for my dog who is currently in the hospital with severe respiratory distress. The online company had concentrators but no cages. I ordered the concentrator in hopes I could find something makeshift until they had them in stock. The Veterinary Specialty Hospital told me I could try Ashley Medical that they had some pet items. I was so surprised and grateful that they had the dog oxygen cage I needed. Not only did she bring out the cage, she brought out a concentrator similar to the one I purchased and showed me the ins and outs and exactly how to use it. When I got home I realized the other company had not sent the right adapters to work with the cage "because I didn't buy a cage"... They could have told me what I needed but they didn't :(. I immediately called Ashley Medical back and she calculated exactly what I needed and got it to me immediately. They have several dogs and are so loving and compassionate towards animals. I am so so grateful I was able to find this place but even more grateful for the owners. In a time of extreme stress they were there and just took over the situation, educated me, and I left feeling so confident about my ability to care for my pup. I called Mission Medical Supply, and they went above and beyond to help. Since we were visiting Balboa Park, they even offered to meet me there so we wouldn't have to leave the museum and drive to their store. Mike met me right outside the museum with the connector, and to my surprise, he also included extra filters, a stress ball, and a pen. That's what I call true white-glove service. Exceptional customer service is something you never forget, and Mike and his team delivered exactly that. I did not purchase anything as what I needed was not there. 3 stars for the store displays and just environment in general. Can't say much about the workers since I didn't interact with them but I think they were doing their job appropriately. I will not be a returning guest at this location but appreciate the hours of operation.
