Review for Viewpoint Financial -- Marvin Hudson and Team I recently worked with Viewpoint Financial on my mortgage loan, and I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with Marvin Hudson and his team, Emi and John. They were truly exceptional from start to finish. Initially, I began my loan process with a close friend ("Broker A") who has over 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry and had successfully helped several of my friends in the past. However, after a week and a half, I still hadn't received a formal rate quote, and a few early missteps left me concerned about the direction of the loan -- concerns that, later on, could have cost me the house. Feeling uneasy, I reached out to another highly recommended broker ("Broker B") from my best friend, who has bought and refinanced over ten properties. Broker B was more efficient than Broker A, but after a week, his offered rate was 7.02%, compared to Broker A's 6.98%. Rate aside, I still didn't feel confident moving forward with either option.
