My husband and I got married at Radonich Ranch in July. When we first visited the venue we fell in love with it's beauty and with Marky. Marky has a quality that makes her immediately become family. She was so responsive to us and answered all of our questions via the million emails we sent her. She has EVERYTHING taken care of and thought through, down to the smallest details. She cares so much about you and your day and it seems like it is truly a labor of love for her. We cannot say enough about how wonderful our day was, and it was in large part because of everything Marky and her team did for us. My biggest advice for anyone considering holding an event at Radonich Ranch is to not stress- Marky has it covered. We got married at Radonich Ranch in July of 2017 and Vignette Events is the company that manages the venue for all of the weddings held there. They handle everything including the coordinating, rentals, flowers, food and non alcoholic beverages. The owner of Vignette is Marky Carr and she is the sole contact for all of the planning. She is wonderful and you won't regret choosing this venue/company to host your special day. Marky is a seasoned professional and you can put complete trust in her that she will come through for you! Everything ran so smoothly, the day was absolutely seamless. I so appreciated her attention to detail and making sure all of the decor was how I wanted it. The flowers were beautiful, the food was great, and all of the day-of staff was super helpful and professional. I really can't reiterate enough, how wonderful it was to have Marky as someone I could rely on to make sure everything was just right. It was hard for me to understand why Brides always say "You're going to want to have someone else take care of things the day of." I'm so used to being the planner that it's hard to let go of control sometimes, but I completely understand what they are talking about now. It's just an overwhelming experience and I definitely didn't have the mindset to worry about all of the details, and I didn't have to because of her. I don't even know where to begin. When we initially started looking for a wedding venue, the idea of managing the venue, the caterers and additional staff was all very daunting. Marky and her team take care of everything! Marky goes above and beyond for her clients and is truly a joy to work with. I was actually bummed out when the wedding was over because that meant we wouldn't be able to hang out with her anymore. Marky is a very kind, caring person and that shows in her work. She prepares the food, the flowers, the table settings and more. We didn't have to buy a lot of decorations because she had so many better options that were left over from prior weddings that matched our decor, rustic & vintage. Not to mention that the Ranch doesn't need much decorating to begin with, the venue has beautiful willow trees and the fountain made a beautiful setting for photos. Marky was kind enough to make our boutonnieres and bouquets because we had a small wedding party. Her attention to detail can be surprising at times, she found some string off a chocolate box for the boutonnieres that was so lovely compared to the ribbon I found at Michael's. She knows what she is doing and has a great time while doing it. If you have the opportunity to have your wedding with Marky, you should absolutely take it. I can't say enough about this venue or Marky who runs the show. If you are looking for a rustic out door venue this spot will literally take your breath away! Marky has put so much love into this venue and will do the same for your big day. Marky will spend as much time with you as you want to ensure that your day is just how you want it. She is so helpful and makes everything so easy. She kind of does everything. Chef: Everything she makes is local and farm fresh (the guests were raving about the food). Event Planner: Marky met with us several times to go over decor, time line, vendor recommendations etc. She was always so encouraging of our ideas and helpful in making them a reality. I can not imagine my wedding day being any better, and that is all thanks to Marky and her effortless way of making you feel comfortable while she runs the show without even looking like it is work. Radonich is absolutely beautiful, I am still (four months later) getting comments on how beautiful the setting was. Marky does it all! The decor was exactly what I was wanting, and I felt like I barely had to explain anything to her and she got it. The food was amazing, and i have quite a few foodie friends. The staff was courteous and easy going. The flowers were gorgeous, and what a perk to have that included! Marky always went a step beyond to make things just right. My wife and I got married at Radonich with Vignette running the event. We got a lot of "best wedding ever" reviews from attendees. It's hard to overstate how awesome Marky is -- you'll see in other reviews that she and her staff will create amazing food, beautiful floral arrangements, and just a great atmosphere, and that was definitely our experience, as well. But there were also little things that made it more than just an event space, and took our minds off the stress of throwing a big party and made it a day everyone could enjoy. Example: One of my jobs was to figure out what we were doing for boutonnieres for me and a couple of other male family members. I basically dropped the ball on ordering them in advance, so my wife and I decided it didn't really matter all the much. (We had bigger fish to fry.) But when we showed up on the morning of the wedding and Marky noticed we didn't have any boutonnieres, she just whipped some up from the left-over flowers in her magic flower shed. It was really thoughtful, and illustrates both her attention to detail and her genuine desire to make the event great. Advice: Let Marky do her job -- she's a pro, she has great taste, her staff is sharp, and she won't lead you astray. Also, hire "Bill the Oyster Guy" to come and shuck oysters for your guests. Marky Carr, Radonich Ranch and their entire staff is amazing! I was the type of bride that didn't want to fuss over the "little" things and truly wanted to enjoy my wedding day. I was able to trust Marky entirely and had no worries that she would deliver. Marky and the Radonich Ranch venue surpassed our expectations with the most perfect wedding day. We were married here in November (2014) and the weather was surprisingly perfect. We couldn't have asked for a more memorable day to spend with family and friends. The location is in the middle of nowhere and can be intimidating to drive to when dark, but this place is worth every penny. Marky was able to not only provide a deliciously seasonal and organic menu, but spectacular décor to our day. I didn't have to worry about food, decorations or even floral centerpieces because it was all taken care of by Marky. She is exceptional to work with and is very knowledgeable. Plus, while we were deciding on a photographer, we mentioned to Marky about our sticker shock and she was able to suggest a talented as well as affordable photographer for our day. Fantastic!!! I also learned that Marky is a very keen listener! During our initial meeting with her at the site, we said in passing about how our family would love to see sauerkraut on the menu. (Please keep in mind, this was not in the least bit a request!) Come our wedding day, Marky was kind of enough to have locally-produced sauerkraut alongside our appetizers. What a sweet lady! Marky and Vignette Events made our wedding! The food was absolutely to die for and the service was superb. I found Marky through a web search and after our first meeting I knew she was the person I wanted to work with. I was originally hesitant since they do not offer food tastings, I spoke with several of her past brides and determined that there was nothing to worry about. Fast forward to the day of and everything was absolutely fantastic! The food was some of the best I've ever had in my whole life. Every single one of guests are still raving (almost a month later) about how delectable the food was. Marky is a dream to work with! She responds to e-mails and phone calls quickly and helped me resolve several wedding concerns that arose shortly before our big day. We booked our venue almost 2 years in advance and she was kind when answering all of my nervous bride questions. One thing that drew me to book this vendor was that she included all of the reception décor (flowers, table linens, and rental items). This was a huge plus. What can I say, I have worked with Marky as an officiant at her venue, but this is a first for being a client. My daughter and fiance loved the venue, but Marky was the deciding factor! Marky and Vignette were amazing for our Radonich Ranch wedding August 2014. When we saw the site online, we knew it was the place for us. We loved the concept of local food and an outdoor location- and Marky made both amazing for our day. I could copy and paste from the other reviews- lots of guests saying that the wedding was perfect, beautiful, and delicious. It couldn't have been any better- all thanks to Marky. We had some special requests, but mostly let Marky do her thing- because what she does is just amazing. Since we weren't having a wedding party, Marky was able to make my gorgeous bouquet to match the stunning table arrangements. My mother put together arrangements for the aisle, and Marky helped to perk them up in the heat right before the ceremony. She really went above and beyond to help things go smoothly. Marky meets with you months ahead of time at the venue to put together your event plan and then takes care of so much behind the scene that you can just relax knowing that she will handle it. She was accessible to answer whatever questions we had. She was also a great sounding board for ideas that we wanted to incorporate into our event and made some of them happen. After a photography mishap (having nothing to do with Marky and Vignette), we got a new photographer (Erik Schappert was great!) who offered to have our re-takes at Radonich Ranch again. We knew she was still super busy with weekend events, but asked Marky if it would be possible to use the venue once more to "recreate" our day and Marky made it happen. We truly appreciate her willingness to allow us to use the site once more so that we could get a picture of the two of us. We cannot thank you enough Marky, for making our wedding unforgettable. Marky and her team were absolutely fantastic. The venue for our June wedding was incredible, guests are seated in the shade for the ceremony which we were told was a huge plus over other weddings, the food was fantastic, and the venue's size made the reception after great for us to greet our guests without getting to spread out. Even the quaint planning meeting with just Marky, us and the MOB in the winter at the ranch, with a hot cup of tea around the 1900's stove while the rain was hitting the tin roof was memorable.
