The part arrived within the window he quoted (2-3 hours), was installed without fuss, and the final bill was reasonable. What stood out as much as the technical work: he flagged a slow coolant leak and a minor oil leak -- this is an older car, so neither was a shock -- but there was no pressure to pile on services. He showed me rough estimates so I'd have them when I'm ready and left the decisions to me. That kind of straightforward, no-upsell approach is rarer than it should be. The waiting area is a genuine plus: free wifi, a table big enough to work at, and a small fridge with complimentary drinks, large TV. My one suggestion would be to add a coffee in the AM. Also, the door to the reception currently reads "B". Might want to avoid any confusion with better signage. Their grandfather and father started the auto shop many years ago, so they are carrying on the legacy and doing a phenomenal job! My father and I have had Faucette work on our 1990 Chevy Pickup and 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis and both times we had very positive experiences. Our repair work is usually planned maintenance, so we could drop the vehicle off with them and pick it up later in the week. This was a win-win, the work was performed in a quality manner, and they could work it into their schedules with the other vehicles being worked on.
