I have had absolutely fantastic experience with this auto repair service. They do it all - not…read morejust transmissions. Last week I was selling a car. I pulled into a lot to meet a buyer - and auto transmission started leaking from my radiator (14 yr old car in otherwise great shape). I took it to AAMCO and they had the new radiator in the next afternoon. I was able to sell the car promptly after. AAMCO is great at diagnosis and at repairs. Very cooperative, great communicators. Charles Wilson, the business owner even sends me a letter to thank me for the business!

It turns out the engine was also completely shot--something they failed to diagnose or mention. I had to tow the vehicle to another shop, where the mechanics immediately noticed a severe misfire without even plugging in a scan tool. A compression test confirmed zero compression on cylinder 1, requiring a $20,000 engine replacement. It is impossible to believe that a specialized transmission shop didn't notice a catastrophically failing engine before taking my money. When I reached out to discuss a partial discount, management completely refused to budge. Their stubbornness backfired: I disputed the entire $8,000 charge with my credit card company for receiving a broken product, won the dispute, and walked away with a FULL refund. Thank you, American Express!"

These folks are the real deal. Received an ad in the mail offering a second opinion. Perfect timing…read moreseeing as I was dealing with an odd noise issue and needed another opinion from a prev mechanic. Yesterday I went in for a diag, even though the shop was full they got my car in pretty quickly and let me know the exact issue, along with a clear video showing the cause of the noise and duplicating the exact sound I've been hearing. They ordered the part and finalized the repair today. My car is running so smooth it's crazy! Had a smile on my face the whole way back home. I will trust this shop with my future business.

I am very disappointed with my experience at Carmedix. This was my first visit, and it did not go…read morewell. In the morning, an employee told me the repair for my car would cost about $1,060. However, when I returned in the evening to move forward with the repair, I was suddenly quoted $1,800 for the same work. Before coming to Carmedix, I had already received a quote from another shop for about $1,500, and that quote included rear brake drums, brake hardware, brake shoes, front brake pads, rotors, and axle work. Carmedix wanted $1,800 for only the front brake pads, front rotors, and CV axle replacement, without the additional rear brake work. The inconsistent pricing and lack of transparency were very frustrating. I felt misled, and I cannot recommend a shop that changes the price so dramatically within the same day. Please be careful and make sure you get a written estimate before agreeing to any repairs.

Do not go to this location, or establishment in general. I went to this shop last week, on account…read morethat my tire kept deflating and I had previously bought tires/tire insurance from them. They refused to replace the tire without charging me, because it looked like I had been driving on it for an extended period of time and the side wall was potentially damaged.. it was at most a couple of days. Then the rest of my tires were almost completely bald and I asked them to replace those as well, on account that the warranty for them was guaranteed to last 55,000 miles.. mine didn't even make it to half that. They said the warranty wouldn't apply because I didn't rotate my tires as much as they wouldn't liked and that's how my tires wore down that much. Again, an excuse. The best "deal" they could do for me was $10 off of two tires, which is nothing when the tires are almost $100 a piece. If they had gone by their own policy, I should've had all tires down for free OR at least gotten the prorated rate which isn't $10 off two tires. I ended up having them put my donut o for me and going to another shop and getting a full set of tires. They will never have business from my family or I ever again.

I got a nail in my tire and went to Just Tires to get it fixed. They are short staffed and busy…read more They told me they would be unable to see my car that day. I went home and booked an appointment. When I got there at my appointment time they told me I'd still have to wait 2 hours for my car to be seen. That's unacceptable in my opinion. I'm not impressed
