I have the feeling that Ralph is retired now and has very limited office hours. Every time I call the office, I have to leave a voice message. The last time we insured a new, leased car, I never was able to reach him but dealt with State Farm directly. In the past years, there have been mistakes in coverage. My son moved to another state and I told the office to remove his car insurance from our policy. Since we have automatic payments set up, I didn't notice that it had never been done. They owed us money. And then there was our treatment after the Oakland Firestorm of 1991. We were never contacted by Ralph to my knowledge, and we were treated abysmally by State Farm, settling our total loss two and a half years later with the help of an attorney. We have such history with State Farm and our auto insurance rates are, I think, relatively low because of the loyalty percs. We will stick with State Farm, but probably change agents. I think my husband and I are annoyed that Ralph has been benefitting from our policies for 40 years and still is, but we're frustrated now by lack of service.
