The goods: my father has stayed at the Coronado Retirement Village on two occasions. Liz was amazing with helping me coordinate medications list and the proper paperwork to ensure my fathers medical conditions and limitations were understood and he would be handled with care. My favorites: the people and cleanliness. Every visit I made to the CRV I was greeted by smiling people and the place is always spotless. When I say "smiling people", I don't mean fake corporate smile. These people look like they love what they do. Thank you Liz and CRV for taking such good care of my dad!

Harborview Senior Assisted Living exceeded my expectations…read more After an increasing number of falls and associated hospitalizations, I was no longer able to care for my 91 year old mother at my home. She didn't want to have to move into an institution and I didn't want her in one either. However I also didn't want her in a place so small there wasn't activities and stimulation. I'm so happy that with the help of a placement guide we found HarborView. It's a beautiful mansion with manicured gardens set on a hill overlooking the stunning San Diego Bay that has 30 residents, a full staff and daily activities. After moving in we quickly found out that the staff is what really makes this place special. They are loving, attentive, respectful, courteous, caring and fun. There are always lots of smiles, laughter and music to enjoy as well as good food and the highest quality of care. I cannot recommend this place more. HarborView Senior Assisted Living was truly an answer to our prayers. It was the perfect place for my beloved mother's final days. It is a beautiful loving caring home, not an institution. Placing a loved one in a facility can be overwhelming and Huntington Gate made us feel comfortable, safe and at peace with our decision. The owner, Phillip, knew all the right things to say and helped us along the way. He made us not feel guilty about or decision by explaining the round-the-clock care and how we could now rest and focus on being his family. Our caregiver, Tess and everyone else were so kind and knowledgeable. It's hard to be around such sadness, but they made us feel good.
