I'm writing this review as a guest at a wedding. I was not aware of this place. It is a small venue but perfect for an intimate and elegant wedding. ::Experience:: Driving in was an "AH" moment. The tall gate and long driveway made us feel VIP. Finding parking was an ease. There are two parking lots and two gated entrance. I was told this place used to be a convent home; it's two stories. The first floor has a small hallway which turned to the dance floor during the reception; it's a little narrow for dancing but it worked. There were fireplaces in different rooms. The kitchen was also on this floor. Upstairs (second floor), had a nice balcony overlooking the bottom outside patio area and yard. There were many different rooms. The bride, groom, and the people that were in the wedding got ready on the second floor. Outside patio was nicely decorated. This was where the reception took place. Stringed lights were hung above the tables which gave it a nice glow at night. ::Food:: After the ceremony, the staff served appetizers while we waited for the reception to start. They served crackers, salami, slices of bread with an assortment of spread, cheese, pickled olives, mushroom & artichoke, coffee, and hot tea, etc. For the main course, I got the beef which came with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The beef was a bit salty but at least it was not tough to eat. Overall, I thought the food was not bad. ::Dessert:: It's hard to explain this part. We all got a very generous cake slice. I'm not sure what flavor it was but it had three layers; I think. It was a cake/pastry. The top layer was like a wafer then cream in the middle and another wafer at the bottom. As I dug in with my fork, the whole cake fell apart. I wasn't a fan of the cake. ::Customer Service:: Friendly. The adult's servers were more professional than the younger ones. ::Rating:: The food was just "ok" but I liked the venue. It's a nice place to have an event. I am giving it 3.5 Stars but rounding it to 4. ::Tips:: -Per their website, music must be completely off by 9:30pm. -For more information about this venue, check their website. ::M's Notes:: Parking Lot

I've lived in Arcadia my whole life, and discovered this venue after becoming a wedding photographer and shooting here. It's a gorgeous venue for an intimate wedding. The architecture reminds me of Europe, and is a hidden local gem. In terms of photography, I recommend having an earlier ceremony time in the afternoon around 2-3pm. Closer to sunset, the sun shines directly on the ceremony spot. There were so many options to take so many beautiful photos for the portraits! I love shooting here, and can't wait to come back.

Had the best day of my life here at Villa Del Sol d'Oro! Had my wedding here in May of 2019. Sandi, Sean and the whole team made our special day that much more wonderful. I know they had issues with construction going on at the school, but even Andrea, the grounds supervisor helped push and hurry the painting and replanting of the Villa from its Movie Shoot to an even better venue from when we first did our walk through and decided to get married here. We are forever grateful for all of Sean's help. He was our Day of Coordinator and help kept us organized, on time, and took care of all the behind the scene issues to make sure we had the most amazing day. Sandi and her family made us feel so welcomed and so much apart of her family through the whole process. I couldn't of ask for a better catering/event company.

This place I give it a 3.5 stars. It's a beautiful place to host a small wedding. It's definitely a romantic place. The wedding ceremony was very beautiful. If done at the right time, the shade from the tree's makes this one of the better outdoor weddings you can have (usually your sweating here in socal). Dinner is served outside also upstairs. The view is beautiful both ways (towards the building or towards the fountain). Appetizers and lounging is nice as there's plenty of space to walk through the rooms of the villa. The servers were pretty nice. Although the dancing/partying portion was abit cramped as you have a small room to dance in (the same place where you have your appetizers). It's just abit too narrow. I think most people would enjoy having their wedding here.

You are responsible for your own table cloths, or you can rent it from them for an additional price. There's a kitchen that you can use, the bathrooms are clean, and there's plenty of parking inside. The venue can host 100 people, but it will be very tight with that many people. We had about 80 people (including kids) at the event, and though it felt tight, at least the kids were able to hang outside to enjoy the bouncer. I rented the afternoon time frame, so we were given the venue from 2:30-9PM. The only thing that I found weird was that there was absolutely no attendant available at the end of the night. Overall, a decent place to rent a venue if you wanna DIY things yourself.

It felt a little tight, but there was still plenty of space in the foyer area and in the back. At the event I attended they had a bounce house and a taco vendor in the back. It was nice they even had a changing table in the women's bathroom. I would love to attend another event here in the future!

It proved more difficult when dealing with the owner Scott. I'll start by saying the end result was us rescheduling at the same rate that we booked & our event went well, however it wasn't without hiccups. When rescheduling, we were specifically instructed by Scott to cancel our booking in Peerspace & rebook the new date. That's when issues started. Before cancelling I mentioned how Peerspace won't refund our full amount & Scott replied that whatever isn't refunded will be credited toward the new date. That didn't happen without us constantly reaching out via text, email, & Peerspace. When you request a date on Peerspace it's pending review/approval from Blush, however it charges you immediately. Since we opted for the payment plan that required about half down & remainder later, we were waiting on our refund to book the new date. It never came. When we were finally able to have a phone call with Scott, I couldn't get one word in the entire time he was mansplaining the world of business. He was very patronizing & I swallowed my pride because we just wanted a resolve & to not lose the deposit. I asked very clearly whether he was going to uphold our agreement. He did, but under the condition that we pay the remainder of our balance upfront in good faith to them. We did & that was that. Thereafter, it was back & forth whether Chris would still be working our event which Scott said he was. Chris was the saving grace of Blush in our opinion. Customer service & how you treat people is king, so it put our hearts at ease. But not for long, since it was changed later to Jin. Getting Jin to respond was difficult. We requested a final walk through with our coordinator about a month before our event. Jin told us he wasn't feeling well & wasn't present for most of the walk through. So we asked questions via email instead. I specifically mentioned a clean facility is important to us. The place just wasn't as polished as we first saw it. He was responsive only after I'd send text follow ups. The week of, not at all. I was waiting on confirmation about our drink selection which I never got & we just hoped it would all work out the day of. Day of our coordinator arrived first. The bathrooms were clean but the bar, cocktail tables, mirror hallway, & front door were full of fingerprints and sticky as if not cleaned from a previous event. We were told there would be 2 staff & that they'd be able to help us move cocktail tables. We weren't aware one of those people would be Jin & he wasn't helpful at all. He completely ignored our coordinator & aunt, but jumped to help our DJ with the sound system. We can only conclude it's because our DJ is a man & as a same sex female couple that leaves such a bad taste in our mouths. Our coordinator & aunt ended up cleaning everything with the one rag & spray bottle he gave after we repeated asked. Coordinator, wife, son, & I moved the heavy tables/ottomans. The drinks didn't taste like our selections. But the worst part was that he started charging our guests upon arrival. My wife & I stepped away to change our clothes. We were there 1.5hrs before start time & Jin never approached us or our coordinator for our card. He also had our itinerary ahead of time and met our coordinator. FYI on top of booking fees, you're also required to use their bar service for ALL drinks alcohol/nonalcohol which is included info on Peerspace. We agreed we'd cover the required minimum of $2500 & once we reached that amount it would turn into a cash bar. Our guests approached us confused about the bar so my wife personally went to Jin & asked why people were being charged, to which he responded "I couldn't find you guys." They immediately include their tip, which we weren't aware of, so drinks totaled to about $2100 w/ the remainder being tax/tip. They continuously ran out of cups & had zero cups for the water dispensers. We were refilling used water bottles to give to the kids. My aunt & cousin were busing tables. Bartenders didn't care to stay quiet or hold drink orders during vows. Every video we have of our vows is them shaking drinks & slamming glassware. There were good things too, kinda. It wasn't communicated to us that the front bathroom was for staff only & we had a outfit change planned, so after first saying no, Jin ended up letting my wife & I use the front bathroom. Also him assisting our DJ resulted in the music going well. It's sadly overshadowed by all the other things that needed improvement. It comes down to a lack of customer service & professional decorum, because the venue itself is beautiful. We gave a final 3 STARS because everything came together. Those missing components are just so vital. A work day for them is literally someone else's most important day that they're choosing and paying to celebrate at Blush.

I specifically called her and told her what I wanted. Pink and white floral arrangement. I provided her with the information on her website as she didn't know which arrangement (on her own website) that I was requesting when I said "Sweet tea bouquet." She asked me to provide her with the number on the item. THat should have been the first red flag. She said she had the colors in that arrangement and would make it pink and white. I told her I wasn't a fan of carnations, and if she could find another comperable flower to add to the pink and white bouquet, please do. SHE PUT PURPLE FLOWERS IN MY PINK AND WHITE BOUQUET! I also asked her to please send me a photo of the arragnement before it went out. She said ok. I never got a photo. I know why, after looking at this arrangement. I paid nearly $140 for this! See photo below. $140!!!! SERIOUSLY? I posted below a photo of what she is advertising on her website and what she actually provided. oh, and these are only ONE sided... so don't think it's a 360 bouquet (which means half of the flowers). I specifically asked her on the phone if she could make it look like the photo. If not, I would have gone elsewhere. She promised she could. Alas, she did not. Big time DID NOT. I called her to discuss and she wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise. All she wanted to do was argue with me and tell me why she did what she did and that she never sends photos to anyone (she absolutely did NOT tell me that when I asked her...before the sale). She also told me that her website photos never look like her arrangements (!!!) after she told me it would before I placed my order. She kept telling me that what she provided was exactly like what I paid for. She's HORRIBLE and I highly recommend staying FAR away from this place! See Leslie's review below... Same situation here. The positive reviews below are probably reviews she's paid people to write or they are her friends/family. I would never do business here again, and I urge you not to as well.
