When you visit the campus, you will immediately notice the caring atmosphere because every staff member is amazing (shoutout to Dr. D and Mrs. Pedroza, co principals, for giving this school the big heart that it has)!! If you're on the fence, give them a chance by attending one of the campus events to hear what they have to offer and what sets them apart from other schools. For example, how many middle schools offer international travel opportunities? My daughter went on a 10+ day trip to Europe and made wonderful memories with her friends. Again, this school has it all (including pre-AP!) and so many parents I've talked to all agree it was amazing for each of their kids. No regrets!

I had a good experience with almost all of my teachers (though I had a couple distinguishably quirky ones). I feel that the technology and science aspects were very helpful (I don't know anyone else who used Blackboard before college!). I had a great experience going through the drama program 6th - 8th grade. I loved going to Catalina, Astro Camp, SeaWorld, and going on snowboard trips. The campus is beautiful now. You should've seen it when the school opened back up :) Overall, I appreciate the time and effort of the staff from 1997-2003. Thanks!

Lots of great questions and participation on the students part as well as extra helpful and friendly staff and teachers. Definitely will keep this on my regular "career day" Schools. My son was being abused, teased and treated terribly by the other KINDERGARTENERS just because he's a little different , was having trouble adjusting to a school setting. Instead of the teacher helping him make friends, they made him out to seem like the troubled kid. My 5 year old said he left us classroom because "he just wanted to make a friend but everyone is mean to him." They don't give consequences to the kids that were teasing him or hurting him or talked to the parents. My son got yelled to " get the Fuck out of here" BY A FIVE YEAR OLD as soon as he got to school and hit with a hula hoop and no one did anything about it. When my son left his class room randomly and was so upset ,NO ONE called me. This all happened week one of school starting by the way.... And we had to pull him out already. Do not bring your kids here.

I felt I was not welcomed. In my six grade class Mr.Lopez my classes teacher said science was to be earned. TWF ok. Academically would not recommend it not structured in teaching with one on one and testing. I would recommend Jordan Academy. It has all a parent should be looking for.
