This place is definitely proof that looks can truly be deceiving…read more Whenever I used to walk by A Mans Image I dismissed it as being drastically behind the times due to its dated look and fact that I couldn't gather much information on it online or otherwise compared to most other local clothing stores. But the more I walked by the more drawn I became to the reasonably priced designer merchandise and that were on the outdoor sales rack and window display. And upon first entry they won me over with the incredible deals and knowledgeable sales staff. The owner is a sharp dressed old head who will be quick to tell you how he's been in the clothing business for 50+ years as he walks you through the product that best suits your style. And when it comes down to it if he can't make you look good then no one can. he knows the product he buys in seam and out, and knows when to recommend things like scotch guarding for a jacket. his family runs the business with him and he has some pretty skilled staff as well. While some of the clothing did match the dated exterior, the store does yield a diverse amount of fashion at some pretty insane deals. designer pants went for as low as $50 for a pair of 2, and top of the lines sweaters went for as low as $30 for 2. When I picked up a brand new winter coat the owner was even cool enough to throw in a matching scarf free of charge. Add in plenty of suits, shirts, shoes, and then some; and you have a perfect destination for good fashion on a budget.

A few days later, I received a cancellation notice falsely stating that I had requested to cancel the order -- which I had not. I had to reach out myself to find out what happened, and only then was I informed that the company had decided to cancel my order due to the cost of international shipping -- despite the fact that I had already paid the higher shipping and duties. No one attempted to contact me beforehand or offer any alternative; they simply cancelled the order without discussion. To make things worse, the sale price of the bag is no longer listed, raising serious concerns about the integrity of the cancellation. This was a very disappointing experience, marked by poor communication, no accountability, and a complete lack of customer consideration. I strongly advise against ordering from Totem Brand Co., especially if you're outside the U.S.

Lots of collaboration, artistic and unique. You'll find something here or at least a good gift for love ones. The only down side, it's on the expensive end but what you get is good quality.

So impressed with the fairly new shop P's & Q's on South Street. The store has a clear focus and…read moreaesthetic and is a welcome addition to the city. The brands they stock are thoughtful and considered. You can browse through a rack of Massachusetts brand Penfield, Brooklyn's The Hill-Side and Copenhagen's fresh menswear line Norse Projects (the only place in Philly that carries this brand). P's & Q's also offers up home goods and skincare from eco-conscious brands like Izola and Baxter. The back of the store showcases beautiful hardcover tomes from Taschen Books and U.S. stationery brand Field Notes. The shop also carries their own line of T shirts with smart and bold graphics created in-house. What I like most about P's & Q's is not their stocklist but their overall vibe. The design of the interior is gorgeous. There is wood everywhere including the floors, shelving units and islands. There is something about wood that is just naturally inviting and warm. The occasional incense stick helps also to relieve the stress of shopping (it's hard for dudes sometimes). The entire staff is also super friendly and helpful, and most of all laid back and unpretentious. There is nothing worse than dropping a few hundred dollars in a shop and leave feeling like they did YOU the favor! P's & Q's showcases their own interests and sense of style as apposed to following the latest trends or letting blog posts from Hypebeast dictate their inventory. They also focus on brands that have eco and socially conscious business practices, this is something that is very important to me. I always read about cool menswear shops in London, New York and LA and think to myself "Why Can't Us?" to quote the famous 2008 Phillies slogan. Finally there is a place right here in Philly that offers smart style in a beautiful storefront that is both welcoming and comfortable to shop in.

There's even a skyway that connects two building structures that make-up the mall. You have you're mall standards inside like H&M, but also an Apple store. Despite being an urban mall, it's pretty spacious and - in the winter - good place to duck inside for a break from the cold weather.

There's Sephora, Ulta, H&M for run-of- the- mill mall shopping. There are food court kiosks but they are spread out instead of collected in a good court. There are "print your own tee shirt" spots, some local biz, and a dollar store. A movie theater. A co- working space. City Winery. All under one very large roof. That doesn't make for good browsing, imo. I stop in if there's something I need at one store, then leave. I've never stopped for moisturizer at Ulta and decided to visit Burlington or watch a movie. The Gallery was a place to hang out in its heyday, but Fashion District restricts unaccompanied minors. So it often feels empty and lifeless. But if you need a brick-and-mortar store so you can try on before you buy, they might help.
