I asked for the rose bushes to be trimmed on occasion and to fill in bare spots in the back yard with mulch which he quoted at $30 extra. Fair enough to me. He takes Zelle payment if you don't have cash on hand. Superb! At the end of the job he asked if he could put up a sign designating his work, which was fine by me. I gave him a $20 tip too.

We've been in our house for 10 days and I didn't want the grass to grow taller and potentially get a notice from our HOA. They arrived perfectly on time. Cut the lawn and trimmed a flowering plant that was a little too close to the patio/ house. They worked quickly and efficiently. My yard looks great! I did a lot of research on artificial turf companies servicing the Brushy Creek area and after some shopping around, came across Umesh and KG Lawn Care. After receiving some ridiculous quotes from some of the "bigger" artificial turf companies, offering a lower grade of turf for a substantially higher price, I went forward with the project with Umesh and KG Lawn Care. Umesh took on my project of installing approximately 1000 sqft of artificial turf, metal edging, and black star gravel around some cypress trees. Roughly a month before starting, I expressed to Umesh my desire to have the project completed in time for our family's annual crawfish boil, which he assured me he would fulfill. I can't say enough positive things about Umesh, Lucas, and their crew. As we neared the date of my family's party, Umesh assured me that he would push to make the deadline, even with unpredictable central Texas weather. Umesh not only kept to his promise in finishing the project in time for our party, but also knocked it out of the park! The artificial turf looks incredible and instantly became my daughter's favorite place to play. Umesh and his crew put a level of detail into the project in ensuring every aspect was perfect for my family. As pleased as I am with the project itself, the most noteworthy aspect I want to highlight in this review is how Umesh does business. In a world where so many are looking to cut corners, charge more, and provide less, I found that Umesh is a man of immense integrity who keeps to his word. Umesh delivered on his promise to ensure my yard was immaculate for my family's party, but most notably, his promise on pricing. A day before our turf was set to be installed, Umesh was notified by the turf company that the turf we picked out was no longer available (with zero warning). Umesh was forced to upgrade the turf at a difference of nearly $800. I offered to split the difference with Umesh but was told: "Nah man, it's all good. I like to keep my word and pricing. It's not your fault." This really struck me that Umesh was willing to eat $800 in order to keep his word with me on pricing. KG Lawn Care exceeded my expectations and truly helped me complete my dream back yard - The quality of work and character of Umesh will have me recommending him and his company to all my family and friends!

Most recently, Jesus and his team removed a large dead tree trunk for me (by the root). It was one hell of a job -- the tree wouldn't budge. So, Jesus and his team worked harder. They stayed into evening, working with a light. They wouldn't rest until they got it done. When they finally did, they made sure to clean up everything (in the dark). It was super impressive. I'm trying to understand why my experience is so different from these 5 star reviews…read more. I contacted them about an ant infestation inside my home. The technician who came out placed sugar bait inside to eliminate the colony. He told me that an exterior treatment was not necessary at that time. I accepted that recommendation, due to potential exposure for my active dog. Months later, I called to follow up because the ant problem had not been resolved. I was then told the $216.50 treatment of simply adding sugar bait for the interior also included exterior treatment during the original visit. That was surprising because I was never told an exterior treatment had been done. When I asked where it had been applied, they did not give me a clear answer regarding the exterior. I have also come to find out that we had acrobat ants (not carpenter ants) as I expected when talking to a few other pest control companies. Paying for another treatment isn't the issue. If the ants require another visit, I'm happy to pay for it. My concern is that the explanation of what was actually done has changed. Now, they're saying I have to pay another $216 for their services again. Something just isn't adding up. If there's a reasonable explanation, I'd like to hear it. Based on the conflicting information, I have little confidence in their service.
