Close to my work, I stop in every once in a while, but when I stopped in today... it was amazing to see the updated shelving and layout! The store feels so much bigger and brighter with the wire shelving racks for all of the non-clothing items and the new layout allows the natural light to fill the store! This Goodwill always is very well cleaned and restocked with ample employees paroling the aisles to keep it that way.

When I say that, what I mean is that each time I have visited this location they have everything in stock when compared to other locations. Each visit I have been able to find the staples (or maybe they are the new staples) like toilet paper, facial tissues, water. Yes, it is located near the dreaded blackhole that is known as Pittsburgh Mills, but don't let that stop you from visiting. All of the businesses outside are thriving as compared to the mall. Sam's is kind of tucked back from other businesses, basically it sits next to Walmart at the end of the road. Parking lot feels a bit smaller than others, but it seems to work seeing how quickly people are in and out of here so quickly. Staff were pleasant and helpful when dealt with. The whole store was clean and stocked.

I knew I should be able to find things here, but not everything I needed was visible or out of stock. I knew exactly what I needed, but after walking around the store twice, I just about gave up. I was walking down the aisle to get out of the store and happened to look on the floor and there it was, the item I needed. Several of them. Not on the shelf, but on the floor, not near where it should be. To tell you the truth, this place actually looked like a Dollar General rather than a Dollar Tree. That's how messy it was in here. Tons of merchandise on the floor, tripping hazards everywhere, but it is not my place to hold them accountable. Who knows, maybe there is a staffing shortage effecting their ability to get people to work. But it would have been better to know where the items were that I needed before going all over the store.

Whelp, this Macy's has reached its final days. I was told by a coworker that their 'going out of…read morebusiness' sale prices were great, so I stopped by to take advantage of them earlier this month. I wasn't sure what to expect since the sale had started weeks prior, and a fair bit of the store was already empty by the time I stopped by. But they weren't picked clean quite yet! So at the end of my shopping run I had a nice new jacket, multiple new pairs of pants, and cute but durable rainboots. I will say that even with the sale prices in place I still spent a pretty penny on my shopping spree; so hopefully, the things I bought last a good amount of time... Also, before writing this review I read the following comment about the sale on Reddit: "Would check it out, but afraid my car would be destroyed by the parking lot." As someone who braved that parking lot I can confirm, the holes in the asphalt were WILD. It was easy to dodge them since there were like six other cars parked in the whole lot, but still...it's obvious that no care has gone into the mall or lot recently. They're not closed just yet as of today - they're selling the store fixtures, shelving units, mannequins, etc. at this point. But April is quickly approaching so I expect to see "CLOSED" appearing in the listing name here on Yelp soon...
