Very nice customer service. I couldn't get behind them using clippers to trim the top of my hair tho. Had never seen a barber do that before. Also, didn't use straight razor blade to shave the back of my neck. Good price for Estes park tho. read more

I loved the old shop and the barber that had been there forever, but the new owner and new location (next to the old theater) has kept the same focus in service and most of the antique furnishings. She doesn't take reservations, and only takes cash or Venmo, so be ready. I was just a walk in for a beard trim this morning and she treated me like I had been coming there for years. It is difficult to patronize when they fail to answer the phone and their voicemail is disfunctional. With the tourist crowds and difficult parking, one does not wish to waste time arriving with no available appointment poossibilities due to not being able to phone and inquire adhead. I will try one of the other Estes Park barbers now. They answer their phone. A bluetooth headset is strongly suggested in this century of advance communication technology. read more

I went to this barber shop in August of.this year 2019. Gale the barber said she cuts women hair also. I was desperate for a haircut so I gave her a try. She was very friendly which put me at ease. She wet my hair with a spray bottle and cut off Lot of my hair which was too much for my liking. She never blew dry my hair and she said she was done. I was in shock and embarrassed to walk around in public like I just got out of the shower. She does good with men's hair but not womens. read more

I walked in to get my long hair trimmed and Joe told me he only buzzes, so buzz off. But he said the new owner, a hippie chick in her 50's, would be able to take care of me. Little did I know, I was witnessing the end of an era. Old Joe "quit" within the week and Gale hired a new barber with an extraordinarily eccentric style. Long story short I got a great haircut from Gale. I was worried my long hair would be cut short but she did it just right. Sexist, impatient, rude, and incompetent!!! My son's bangs are crooked, random long strands of hair left uncut over both of his ears, shaved down to his scalp in bare spots. "Barber" doesn't know how to do a basic 1 inch spiral cut on a boy. Seriously, the worst cut ever!!! When I nicely asked the "barber" to trim the obviously long uncut stands of hair and straighten out his bangs that looked like the haircut my son gave himself in kindergarten,.....no joke....."barber" actually told me I was a "pain in his fanny", he had a "belly full of my comments" and to "shut up". read more

Went in at 1pm on June 21st, 2016 where two barbers were waiting in a very clean and old style shop. Sat down in the barber chair where the older and tallest barber asked what I needed. I told him a haircut with scissors. He said "do you want a good haircut?" Obviously, I said yes, but with scissors. At that point he ripped off the barber sheet off me and yelled "get the fuck out of my shop." Obviously he needs to retire and get a clue on how to run a business. Incredible! read more

I hate to sound so negative but this was the absolute worse haircut ever. The barber is a very nice older gentlemen but his best days are far behind him. He absolutely butchered my hair to the point where it will make me laugh for the rest of my life. I feel bad bashing the guy but he should not be cutting hair! you have been warned! read more
