Sahara honestly came in with an attitude and at one point scoffed "there's a lot going on here" (well, yeah, transformations are a big deal). She cut the bangs as shown in the photos which was not what we discussed at all. When I expressed displeasure she went and got a different employee who refused to validate my concerns but tried to clean it up and then hurriedly ushered me out without rescheduling (guess I'm banned now). Anyways, if you want bangs, do NOT go here. They used the excuse that Sahara was not confident cutting bangs (but didn't bother contacting me in advance to reschedule my appt and were happy to let her cut these). At that point their hot tub was already closed due to concerns of COVID-19. However, service remained impeccable. Detail oriented. I love that they offer vitality drinks (there's a whole menu). The massage was top notch, and the room has a tub. The room also has its own bathroom. Love the fireplaces throughout the building. Multiple nooks and comfy homey corners to sit in and relax after the treatment. There are 3 levels. There's a hop on the ground level. Women's locker room is also on the ground level. Men's seems to be in the basement. They also have men's and women's lounges, as well as lounges where everyone can go. Upon walking in they have a wall of shoe racks for you to put your shoes and change into their slippers. I love this arrangement. It makes the whole spa experience feel homey. I'm an options kinda gal so choosing from only two vendors made me really nervous. She can be a little more gruff than others you might work with but she knows her stuff! I had originally wanted a French braid bun but she told me she thought it would get lost in my dark hair. We went with a different style and I LOVED it! I'm also not a makeup person (I don't even know how to put on makeup and I own 2 lipsticks) and didn't want anything too heavy the day of. The makeup looked natural and was absolutely perfect. On top of that, she and Jackie were incredibly fast. I was nervous because they had booked another wedding the same day but they handled me and 5 other people in my party in less than 2.5 hours and everyone's hair held the whole night. She listened to my concerns and got my hair color and cut absolutely perfect on the first try. Bright and light blonde without a hint of orange! And at a better price than what I had last paid at a posh salon in Boulder (that had turned my hair orange). I'll definitely be a repeat customer here!
