Great food, excellent view and phenomenal service. A few friends and I stopped in had a few drinks and ate dinner without any complaints. This is located in fisherman's village. There is plenty of parking and lots to do before and or after your meal. The food is not only great tasting but the portions are healthy in size. This place definitely didn't disappoint and will be back again.

    Not good at all.

Went today for a bite of lunch. I was well aware that they would be crowded because it was the " season" around here. And boy was it. They had two hostess lines which perturbed most of the folks that were waiting. You started at one and then they sent you to another. I was fine sitting inside as I have water in my backyard. I will say the views are spectacular. My server was quite nice and recommended the smash burger. Even though I have lived here for ten years, this is only my second visit. The description said it had thousand island dressing on it ( I was thinking a dab of special sauce or something) so I went with it. That burger came out so drenched in that bottled dressing I could not pick it up without it completely disintegrating in my hands. So i decided not to let it beat me and tried the old knife and fork routine. That sauce was so overpoweringly sweet, I just couldn't do it. The fries had been precooked and rewarmed. Not good. They did have a nice singer outside. So much for taking myself out to lunch. I also despise it when servers only bring you huge bills as change hoping to force you into giving a tip as big as the bill. Doesn't work on me. I carry 100 singles at all times.

Great spot! We loved the atmosphere right on the water. The menu had great selections, as well as a good craft beer menu. I had the build-your-own tacos with blackened mahi and it was delicious. The other meals our family got that they loved were the cod tacos with sweet potato fries and the chicken avocado club. While the atmosphere and food were 5 stars, the service was more like 3 stars. Our actual server was super nice, but was busy and only came to our table a handful of times. Our food also took a long time to come out. Watched the sun go down and it was awesome. It gets a little chilly with the wind at nights, so bring a jacket in the winter months. Would definitely come back!

That was fun. I absolutely love how this place is decorated. We did sit outside (a little chilly today but the views are beautiful. I had the Mahi blackened tacos. They were very good. Needed a squirt of lime ‍ and that really made it delish. My friend ordered the black bean burger and it wasn't good. She had me taste it as that would normally be my go to. It was to squishy in the middle. Not the way I like it and she had a hard time getting through it but the service was a little slow so she didn't want to order something else. Cod Tacos were also a complaint for the hubs. He ended up eating one of my tacos. I seem to be the only one who loved their meal. We would go back and order actual burgers and try some other items. They have very broad menu PS Fries were delish!!!!!

Just went in for some drinks & appetizers, while enjoying the sunset. Ordered elote dip & blackened Mahi Mahi bites. The sauce for the fish is what made it. Village Brewhouse has really nice server named Mckenzie, I believe. The hostesses got us right next to the water! which was nice. The live music had talent, as well as an impressive playlist. Relaxing family atmosphere. Will be a repeat customer.

Brought my parents here and had the best time! We got the nachos again, salmon bites and the mahi appetizer. Bummed I didn't take any pics because it was all delicious! My daughter is now 8 months old and she especially loved the salmon! Great service, atmosphere, food & drinks.

We love the Brewhouse, the staff are always very accommodating and friendly. Tonight we had the spicy Brussels spouts for an appetizer (you have to try...YUM)! Our main dishes were the Steak Salad, very good (HOWEVER the steak was overdone, I should have asked to have them redo the steak, but a very hearty meal). We also had the Bayou Penne Pasta with chicken - good flavor! We ate inside because of the rain in the forecast, it wasn't too loud.

Always great food, friendly service, and nice atmosphere. You can sit over the water for a beautiful view or near the bar. Dog friendly and they often have live music. I love that they offer vegetarian items- and its all really good- cauliflower wings, mock chicken wraps, veggie burger, etc. Great drinks too! My favorite is the peace river punch.

Village Brewhouse Right now, this restaurant is one of the only ones left in Fisherman's village. It has an outside bar and an inside bar. It also has outside dinning with two different areas. One side has live music and the other side is quieter and has some of the best sunsets in that area. I ordered the Beef Tips with Mushrooms, Onions with a demi glaze over Mashed Potatoes and a side of Baked Beans. My wife ordered the Fresh Apple Walnut Salad with Blackened Salmon on the top. For being as busy as they were our ordered came out fast. Our meals looked amazing. When I tasted my Beef Tips the were very good then I went to the Mashed Potatoes and the Baked Beans, and they were just as good. My wife's Salad everything on it tasted fresh and the Blackened Salmon was also very good. All our food was hot, tasty and plenty of it to fill us up. We ordered the Cookie Skillet for Dessert, and it was fantastic. I must add our server Sophia G was spot on with service. We both were shocked that the food was so good. You must stop by not only for the food but some the most beautiful Sunsets you'll ever see. I must give this place 5 out of 5 stars. Gulf Coast Terry

Came here with friends while visiting on vacation. Food was pretty good overall, but had terrible service. Never received my drink after asking multiple times. Saw my waitress about 2 times. The seating next to the ocean is nice. Wouldn't recommend coming if you are starving or have something planned!

Got a table on the deck overlooking the water, it was gorgeous. Got a Florida Georgia Line drink that was also quite good. The food and prices however were not as great. The food was cheap tasting and sides cost extra for everything, a drink and entree along with a side of fries was almost $45. Probably wouldn't go back and would try one of the other restaurants close by next time I'm in the area.

Met some friends for lunch at Village Brewhouse in Fisherman's Village, Punta Gorda, which serves as a great halfway meeting point for us. We opted for outdoor seating by the water, and with the perfect weather, it made for an enjoyable setting. I ordered the blackened grouper sandwich with fries, and it did not disappoint. The grouper was cooked perfectly, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. The fries were a great complement, crisp and satisfying. Between the beautiful waterfront view, great company, and delicious food, this was a fantastic lunch. I'm already looking forward to returning and trying more from the menu!

Friends rave about this place. I finally had a chance to go. I called because open table has zero…read moreavailability. The hostess answered and she told me I could have a table for one at 7:15! Ok! I got dressed up and walked over there. My table was ready on time; it was in the lounge area of the restaurant. They offered me the table or said I could sit at the bar. I opted to sit at the bar. The bar was almost full but people were leaving. Apparently people eat early there. The bartender was swamped but smiled and got me a glass of water. Soon I had menus. I like that they have a regular menu as well as a specials menu, including the usual cocktails and some special cocktails. I ordered the conquest, which seemed like a twist on an old fashioned. They offered bread or focaccia bread, I declined. And heads up- bread service is not included. It's an up charge. Normally I don't care but I was having dessert, not bread. I had the halibut special. It was phenomenal. One of the guys from the kitchen dropped it off and asked if I needed anything'- I replied salt. I find that I need salt often at restaurants. They brought the salt out real fast! I had a bite and determined it didn't need any more salt- it was perfectly salted! Woohoo! Fantastic. I ate my whole dish and then I savored my cocktail. The bartender wasn't much for conversation , as she was very busy, alone, covering the entire bar and drinks for the whole restaurant. She did invite me to try dessert, and mentioned a coconut cream cake that was not on the menu. I agreed to it and it was heavenly. Seemed like cheesecake icing with fluffy layers of cake and subtle coconut flakes throughout. The chocolate ice cream was weird at first but then I realized it's like almond joy/ mounds - coconut and chocolate are often paired. The espresso crumble gave it a nice crunch and there was caramel all over the plate. Wow! I took the majority of the cake home. It was a large portion and indulgent. I paid my tab and finished my drink. I was not rushed. I would go back again. It's a bit pricey. The fish special was $58. The cocktail was $17 and the dessert was $16. So one person, who did not add on the bread service, was $91. It's expensive. I would emphasize you can probably get a seat at the bar if you can't get a reservation. Also- the entrance is hard to find. It's in the parking lot and not facing the main road. I got a little lost walking there. The signage is poor. I can't imagine going there the first time in the dark. So give yourself a couple extra minutes if it's your first time going there.
