After the surgery they decided they were not accepting the settlement amount. So 8 months later I am on the hook with a large bill. My insurance tried to negotiate and that didn't work, so now I am stuck. I liked my doctor there, but this is crazy. Talking to some other people this is a common thing that they pull. So if you go there keep an eye out because you will end up in collections with no idea why even after having hit your deductible in full.

When I approached the front desk person about my concern, she blew me off , her response was pretty much, 'we believe in having a good time, this is the way we are'. I told her after this visit, I am not returning. She was cold and indifferent to my concern. By the time I was approached by a PT , I had a headache. I told the PT my concerns, and decided this is not the right place for me. I'm sure people come in there with all kinds of pain and would not want to listen to all that. Then finally I spoke to the Dr. He said he would take the bill out of collections but the collection agency is the one that is charging me 300. Wow. Just wow. Ball was dropped so many times.
