Bait and Switch! Came in for a happy hour draft and they don't even have a Keg!
    Toni W.

We walked into this place on a Saturday because of this sign. This was the sign on the tabletop, but this exact sign was on the window. We go in at 4 on a Saturday (happy hour times) and not only did they not have a Keg, but all they had in the cooler were like 5 Stella bottled beer. They also didn't honor a happy hour price for those beers. This is a classic bait and switch gimmick and by the time we were in there ordering our food and find out no happy hours drafts...we were too late to back out. The wings were good and the staff were nice but this false advertising has got to go!

$9.99 for lunch. This included wing/breast or leg/thigh + rice and beans + salad + 3 sauces + pita bread + drink. This deal is great. It tasted good. My child loved it.

Just looking at the stars I thought this would be a yummy quick place for lunch but the food was terrible! I ordered the village bowl #4 which includes gyro meat and pulled chicken along with rice, chick peas lettuce tomato and feta. First off the gyro meat and pulled chicken pieces were overcooked little pieces of meat. No flavor to them at all. The chickpeas were in some type of red sauce that tasted like a bad tomato sauce. Could not eat. Rice was overcooked and everything came all mixed together which, yes I understand is the point of a bowl but the res sauce over the chickpeas was on everything. I ate about a 1/4 and threw the rest away. The only really good thing was the pita bread I got on the side.

Arrived around 1:00 and was greeted by a nice gentleman. He quickly took my order. Food was ready in about five minutes. Chicken had good flavor and the sides were good. Will return next time I'm in the area at lunch time.

I wanted to like this place so bad because I just moved into the neighborhood next to it Service was good. I ordered at the counter and food was really quick. I paid around $10 for a chicken leg/thigh, rice, beans, pita bread, and a drink. Pretty good deal in my opinion The food was just missing seasoning for me. I was so excited to dive in but the visual didn't match the taste. The beans were lacking salt, rice was fine, and chicken was fine. It was all just fine. Was hoping for more flavor. I'll give it another shot and try something else next time.

I went here for the first time today after reading the reviews on yelp and google. I ordered using their website and the food was ready in 15 minutes! We ordered the lamb gyro and the gyro bowl, both were great! The lamb gyro and bowl were both filled with tons of meat and ingredients which made it very filling. The sides of the fried and cucumber salad were also good additions. When we went to pick it up the employee who greeted me was so pleasant and helpful. I will definitely be back again soon!

My girlfriend and I wanted a more wholesome lunch today and this restaurant definitely has ma y healthy food options. We've di ed-out here a couple of times and mhave really enjoyed it. The first time that we came here was many years ago when they were in a other part of the shopping center. I particularly like the 1/4 pound breast & wing chicken platter. It comes with a slice of pita bread, a fountain drink, and two sides. Today I got the macaroni & cheese and rice & beans for the sides. It really is a lot of food for less than $11.50. My girlfriend ordered the gyro platter which also came with two sides and a fountain drink. Our orders were prepared in less than five minutes, and soon enough we found a table near the front of the restaurant. The same Owner still works here and he took our orders and it was a good experience, like always!

Love the rooster decor. Small clean friendly atmosphere. They let my kids taste sauces in advance. Service was quick and staff double checked the particulars of our order... addressing kids directly. Food was hot and kids gobbled down bbq wings and a chicken burrito. Paper towels and hot sauce already on the table.... bonus! ... and they gave take home trays without us asking cuz they saw we were gonna need them...

This was the first time I've been, so I just got the lunch special to go. The chicken was so juicy (I'm always wary of dry chicken). Additionally, the rice and beans were very tasty and I don't usually like beans! There was also salsa verde and hummus (not pictured) on the side. Additionally, the lunch special came with a soda. This was also a TON of food for only $5!!! Will definitely have to make a trip back!

Payment went through next day for food that was never received

It sits right across the street from one of my top 5 favorite fried chicken shops, Nash & Smashed. They have some decent competition - That's what I thought before I stopped in. I am very thankful to the Crimson Coward chain for offering a $5 discounted meal for first-time visitors! I ordered the 4 piece tenders, in country style (no heat). My body seems to be that of a crybaby when it comes to handling spice. I ordered the food just after they opened, at 11:06, thru their online storefront (website). I arrived to pick up the food at around 11:20. They were just packaging it up to go out the door, and I was the only one in the restaurant. I'm sure if there was a line or quite a few more orders it would have taken longer. The food was packed in a small folding box (just like KFC style), but contained no napkins - so be sure to grab those before you go! The chicken was moist, tender, and juicy! The breading was thin, yet slightly crunchy. It seems that they make this perfectly! My compliments to the crew. It was done very well. The tenders were as big as my hands, and just as thick! They were quite large! I'm not sure I've ever seen tenders quite so big, that weren't 50+% breading alone. But no - these were genuinely large - They must have been the beast of a chicken yard. Tender. Juicy. Perfection. You get 4 slices of pickle with the meal, and for a pickle-lover like me that was great! They're not terrible high-class tasting, like a Claussen-brand pickle, and have a hint of bread-n-butter taste to them, but they're decent! But, the reason for the score being as it is, is because the flavor profile didn't fit to the fireworks sparkle that hit the chicken towards a home run. The seasoning landed a bit short, and flat. I was expecting a myriad of blended herbs and spices to match the exquisite look and tenderness of the chicken - but it never came. I couldn't tell you what herb or spice it was that felt so strongly, but there was one element in the spice package that dominated everything else, and just fills the nose and mouth with that one flavor over all else. It's not a bad taste by any means. It was quite enjoyable as-is, but it's nothing overtly special to write back home about. I wouldn't travel from far just to get this chicken. One other thing that bothered me was that they seemed to offer mac & cheese with other things mixed in but yet not the mac & cheese by itself on the side. Yet, you can get slaw, onions, pickles, and all these other condiments and flavors by themselves - just not mac & cheese alone. Sad! A terribly missed profit-maker for sure... If there's one thing people want with good fried chicken it's mac & cheese! I believe that's written in soul food lore somewhere... Lastly, the sauces that came with the food -- You can pick your own, and by default I went with the Crimson Sauce, and ranch. The ranch fell a bit flat. It's not an expensive or savory ranch; it's just a bottom of the barrel 2D ranch. No eccentric savory flavors, or myriad of tastes. There was clearly no buttermilk in it either, it just felt a bit sad. That's not to say it wasn't good, but it left me longing for a bit more. The Crimson sauce was good. It had a tiny bit of heat -- similar to something like your average green peppers, or mildly spicy fresh-made salsa would give off. Something your old-school no-spice white granny could order and eat with no complaining. The sauce was good and flavorful. Between the 4 tenders, 1 cup of ranch, and 1 cup of crimson sauce, I finished my meal just as the sauce cups were being wiped empty with the last bit of chicken meat. A refreshing and enjoyable experience, but nothing to drive out of your way for. I enjoyed the meal, and would come back - but I wouldn't go craving it once a week for the rest of my life. Good for a passing meal when you're sick of eating the same ol' Taco Bell, KFC, Chipotle, or McDonald's meals, and want to change it up a bit.

There wasn't anything that I ate where I feel I would crave it. You order at a counter and they call your number when it is ready Super casual. Would I come back? Sure. I had nothing really to complain about. I had the mild chicken tenders. My daughter got a spicer sandwich and she was pleased. Fries are good. There was a sauce that came with it that was good. Limited Pepsi products and a couple of juices in their fountain machine. They also had some basic flavored milkshakes. Lots of tables for 2 people and only 1 table that sits four. The portions are more than generous in fact my only regret was not ordering a kids meal for myself.

They had different genres of music playing. Careless Whisper was playing during my visit. I love that song! They cook to order so that's always a good sign. And he says we have to eat here for best experience! He is right. Ordering is easy on the kiosk or an employee can help take your order up front. A large menu board shows you the options. We got two 3 tender meal combo (fries & drink) and a slaw. It took about 10 minutes to get our food but it's made to order. They kitchen/cooking/prep area is open so you can see them make it! Breading and frying the chicken & fries. Hot and fresh. They also check the temp of tenders for doneness. They dip the chicken, then they dust it. Comes with their Crimson sauce as well as ranch. The chicken was hot & juicy. The hot was spicy. Fries were hot and crispy. Ranch was good. Sauce was good. Only negatives were the pickles could have been thicker cut and fresher as well as the slaw. Slaw was vinegar based and wilted. Crunch & crispiness wasn't present. Food was on par with Daves and Canes. Maybe better in quality and price. I wished slaw came with meal. They played country music over the speakers so that's a big plus for me. Is it as good as Dave's or Cane's? My son says yes. I say maybe?
