    Carne guisado
    Grace W.

My friend loved the lengua and it was the best he's ever had- very soft and tender and not chewy at all and the flavor was great. My carne guisada was ok- a bit dry and didn't have the same sauce. Tortillas are warm, fries and rice were standard. Definitely needing some salt or sauce or flavor. Prices are decent, ample space and relatively clean.

The front of the building, trashy parking lot simple.

I love Peruvian chicken and just moved in to the area, first time they had no chicken had a steak and cheese and that was a 2.5 with the fries included, 2nd time no chicken so I just walked out. Can't be a chicken place if u don't have any chicken ready.

Tasty spanish food that I love. It is a go to for many Spanish people in the area and I can definitely see why. I would most definitely come back multiple times for their food and I am sure many others would say the same. A little pricier than expected but their serving size is great. You will get full and very satisfied.

Good food all the time but prices went up and they start charging for yellow and green sauce. At least 1 of each should come with the plate. So disappointed

In general I'm a big fan of Peruvian Chicken, and this place, like so many other places, makes me wanna come back for more, and to borrow a line from the colonel, it really is "finger lickin good" too. We ordered two whole chickens for carry-out to split between 4 people. Whole chickens with 2 sides was $13. Sides of corn on the cob, cooked vegetables, rice, and something else, honestly were not that great. Rice was rather bland (compared to Super Pollo), veggies were mushy from being overcooked, corn on the cob was just okay, and the other side dish was sooo forgettable...I forgot what it was. As for the chicken, it had a healthy amount of seasoning rubbed into it so it tasted great, however, I can't speak to the texture or moistness of the chicken as my wife reheated it in the oven for a little bit, so it wasn't as moist as I had hoped...but it wasn't dry either. I suspect it would have been nice and juicy had we eaten it right away. I think we'll definitely be back, especially to try according to my wife, some kind of stew with peruvian chicken similar to Korean sam-gye-tang. Annandale is slowly becoming a place to go for more than just Korean food. Now we'll be coming here for good Vietnamese and Peruvian Chicken.

My shortest review ever: Meh! The chicken is okay, but besides that, there is very little to justify the "Peruvian" Chicken label as little of their menu is made up of peruvian dishes. I should also mention that my first visit here, they had RUN OUT OF CHICKEN. How does that happen? There are better options. Use them!

I have my favorites in terms of Peruvian chicken places, but I was pretty okay with Chicken Loco. I've always been curious about this place when I pass it frequently to get to H-Mart :P The place seemed to be recently renovated. When we walked in, the place was pretty busy in terms of people dining in as well as some coming in to pick up take-out orders. My husband and I shared the 1/2 Chicken combo, which came with 2 sides. We opted for fried rice and french fries (steak fries). The chicken itself had great flavored skin, and the meat itself was extremely juicy (like, really juicy!). The aji sauce was more on the mustardy side, which actually complemented their meat. The sides were okay - the fries could have been more fresh, and the rice itself was forgettable. The staff was friendly, and the guy who helped us out wasn't too stingy with the sauce, either! There is also a bottle of hot sauce on tables, so you can use that. You have to ask for packets of ketchup if you want that for your fries. Right when you enter, there is also a casing to your right with some breads/pans. +extra juicy Peruvian chicken +aji sauce is more mustard-based

+ Five-Star Plus Review: Casa de Campo…read more Casa de Campo delivers a meal that goes far beyond expectations and earns a true five-star plus rating from the very first bite. Let's start with the rice, because it deserves center stage. Absolutely out of this world. Each grain is perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and clearly prepared with care and tradition. It is not just a side dish. It is comforting, bold, and memorable on its own. The kind of rice you keep going back to even when you think you are full. The rotisserie chicken is equally impressive. Cooked to perfection, it is juicy, tender, and packed with flavor all the way through. The seasoning is balanced and authentic, enhancing the natural taste of the chicken without overpowering it. Every bite is moist, savory, and satisfying, with a beautifully cooked exterior that shows real attention to detail. What truly stands out is the consistency and quality. Nothing feels rushed. The food is clearly made with pride, skill, and respect for the ingredients. This is comfort food elevated by technique and heart. Casa de Campo is not just a place to eat. It is a place to enjoy a full, satisfying meal that leaves you happy, full, and already planning your next visit. If you are looking for incredible flavor, perfectly cooked food, and a dining experience that delivers every single time, Casa de Campo is the place to go. Five stars are not enough. This place earns a five-star plus rating without question.

It's ground‑level from the parking lot, so no climbing Mount Everest just to get a taco. The parking lot is small, but they do have handicap spots, so points for accessibility. There are large menu screens everywhere, and if you've aged like a fine bottle of wine (or just drink a lot of it), you'll appreciate how big and easy to read they are. They also have a couple of handheld menus at the counter. Seating is minimal with metal tables and chairs, so if you're a diva, bring your donut cushion. I ordered the Carnitas and pork belly, both sold as sides. The pork belly sits under a warmer at the counter, daring you to stay committed to that Weight Watchers plan. It's sold by the pound, and my piece came to $4.80. I almost put it back, but I'm pretty sure there's an unwritten rule about not returning food you've already mentally claimed. Even the cashier said, "Oof, that's pricey," but listen I liked it, and I'd pay it again. The half‑pound Carnitas for $7.99 were delicious and worth every penny. My foodie partner ordered the fried chicken plate. Medium comes with fries; large comes with rice and salad. I tasted her large plate the seasoning was on point, the chicken leaned toward being a little dry, but not enough to stop me from wanting to shake those tail feathers. You order at the counter, they call your name, and voilà food in hand. Service was quick and easy and served with a smile. Overall, I'd definitely come back.

I walked into this deli/convenience store/restaurant midday on a Friday. It's brightly lit and there is Latin music coming through the speakers at a reasonable volume. You order at the counter and bring your food back to one of their 15 or so tables. There's monitors with pics of the menu items for the Latin dishes-- helpful. I ordered the fried chicken plate (beans and rice and salad with three pieces of raw chicken). That chicken was so tasty! There were no beans, but there was a gravy that they served with it that made me not need the beans. The portion sizes are pretty big- more than I can eat at a setting. My sister got the Carnitas plate. She said they were tender and good. The media Libra doesn't come with sides. There's pay-by-the-piece pork belly warming in a container when you go to the counter-- she said her piece was good. There is some parking , but there's not much of it due to the size of the strip mall where it's located.

The beautiful artwork featuring local women of color from Colombia adds a great cultural touch, and there's plenty of parking. I ordered the Papas Rellenas (picadillo-stuffed potato fritters), which were really big, dense, and satisfying for $5. I also got the bandeja paisa (with kidney beans, steak, fried egg, pork belly, etc.), knowing it would take about 20 minutes on a Monday at 10:45 a.m. That wait felt outrageous, though--only about 10 people were in a space that could easily hold 100. However, the pork belly and steak wasn't overcooked and very flavorful. Even the sausage bursted with flavor. The food was authentic and tasty, but the long wait is a dealbreaker for me unless I'm with a friend craving Latin food and have time to spare. I placed an online order for pickup, was charged in full, and was never notified of any issue. I drove almost an hour to pick up the order, only to be told upon arrival that my order was not ready and would not be fulfilled at all. This order was for an event I was attending, so I was left scrambling at the last minute while staff showed no acknowledgment or accountability for their mistake. I was never contacted, never proactively refunded, and had extreme difficulty reaching anyone. Phone calls went unanswered repeatedly. As a last resort, I commented on one of their Instagram posts and my comment was deleted. I posted again and still received no response. It wasn't until over a month later that someone finally shared an alternate phone number for a staff member. When the refund was finally processed, it was only partial about 65% of the total charge. I am still having to follow up to recover the remaining balance. To make matters worse, I was blocked from their Instagram page. At this point, this is no longer about the money. It's about the complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service. I am a reasonable person and understand that the food industry is complex but businesses do not have the right to charge customers, fail to deliver, avoid communication, and then silence them. This experience was not only disappointing, it was disrespectful. Unfortunately, this is one of the only places offering Colombian food in the area, which leaves customers with little choice. A quick look at reviews across platforms shows that customer service issues are a consistent pattern. I had previous less-than-great experiences ordering here, but this was the tipping point. This business seriously needs education and improvement in customer service. Customers deserve transparency, communication, and respect.
