Horrible service! I brought in two pairs of identical pants (one was longer than the other) to have one of them shortened. The gal there told me only 1 inch difference and charged me $20. I argued with her that she was wrong when I picked up the pants. The pants are still 1 1/2 inches off in length and I had to go to another cleaners to get it right. read more

I stopped going to Josephs Cleaners after several problems with missing garments, buttons torn off, double creases, etc. Village cleaners has been great for the nearly three months I have used them. Clothes are perfect and I can get them within a day or two. That would never happen at Josephs. Also Village is much more reasonable as far as cost. I'm saving about 25%. read more

I love Village Cleaners! This is the best dry cleaner in the desert! It smells so fresh inside and the staff is so friendly! I brought my Burberry coat in to be cleaned and it was done so quickly. This cleaner is the worst place ever! Worst customer service. Their price is lesser than the other cleaners in the Desert but not worth to save if they will just ruin your clothes. The owner does not respect you when you talk about your complain he irritates easily, he lie and yell back at you, by the way he is the Korean guy and he is there normally on the afternoon for closing. This is my story: I brought my husband's white pants (still new and still has the tag on it) to have it hem, the day they told me to come back, it wasn't ready. The second time they told me to go back the pants was ready but I was very disappointed because I found a yellow stain on the pants, he will never tell you so it's your responsibility to check your items before you pay, so when I found out the stain he said that's not from them, I probably got that from the store (I told him I check this pants before we bought it and it was in a PERFECT condition), and after he said it was the tailor chalk. There was a remaining of the chalk from where they mark the pants and I told him REALLY? Because the stain and the chalk are way different color from each other. And he started raising his voice and won't admit their fault. My Second experience (which I didn't intend too, because this time it was my husband who brought his wedding suit for dry cleaning to just have it ready for our wedding day in two weeks; with hopes and trust that this time they will not have any mistake) My husband dropped it in the morning and it was the lady who received it. He explained what he wants and again the suit was brand new and tag was still there. The lady told him to come back on Friday, and it wasn't ready, he was told to come back on Monday, when he got there the guy just gave the suit and try to collect the payment but my husband checked the suit and saw the pants there were black spots all over the pants and especially on the waist area, the Korean guy said it was from the cloth underneath the waist line he said the cloth bleeds. And he blame the company "Calvin Klein" and take note when he gave the pants my husband told me that it was still damp, my husband was frustrated because the suit was messed up and we only have a week left before the wedding and so the guy said I will try to clean it again and remove the stain and come back tomorrow. The next day I went with my husband after work and again same scenario he is just about to give the whole outfit in hanger with plastic pretending that nothing happened without telling and explaining what he did or show to us the condition of the suit. So I checked and surprised the stain on the waistline area wasn't that noticeable but it was still there, the top has black spots all over as well and you can see the suit and pants was WRINKLED AND BLEACHED because the pants was way lighter than the suit, and the volume of the suit was gone. He still insist that the block spots was coming from the cloth lining on the waist line, I got really mad and he started raising his voice and yelling at me so I yelled at him and we left without paying for the service, he took our receipt order. With our hopes that other cleaners can fix this, we brought it to Mission Hills Cleaners at Rancho Mirage. The lady said the suit was washed and not dry cleaned, she said they will try to remove the black stains on it. When we came back to pick it up, she said they couldn't remove it and they just leave it as it is (looks like they didn't touch it). So again still with our hopes we brought it to another dry cleaners in Cathedral City close to Stater Brother and the lady said she can tell the suit was washed and not dry cleaned, but unfortunately this case they have a law that if it ruined by a Cleaner shop they cannot touch, because then they will be liable of it, she said that we can file a case for this matter. So then because my husband cannot wear this any longer, we decided to get a whole new outfit. read more

Horrible business! I took a new, never-worn dress to this business to have the seam repaired. The dress is bright green, and when I took it in I asked them to be certain to use the correct color thread that would best match it. When I went to pick it up, I examined the seam and what color thread did they use? YELLOW! When I showed this to the person who was helping me--the owner--he looked at it for several minutes and finally told me that he didn't do the work. What? Yes, he said, we didn't do this. UNBELIEVABLE. Mistakes happen, and I would have gladly left the dress for them to redo the work, but to claim that they didn't do the sewing, that someone else must have done it, was unreal. The owner was rude, the service was horrible, and I would NEVER recommend this cleaner to anybody! read more

I first called Village Cleaners to ask price for pressing pants - was told $4.75 each. I took in 6 pair to be pressed and again asked the price to press - again told $4.75 each. When I picked them up the bill was $39 - I asked why - was told that they were a lot of work with pockets. Really?? DO NOT COME IN THIS PLACE! I am literally shoked! The worst costumer service I got in my life! Almost called the cops on them. I Tried to give this place a go because it's closer to the one that I usually go to. Their prices were higher than the one I usually go to but I thought what the heck I'll give it a try. I came to pick up my clothes - all dress shirt that needed to be washed and pressed. While the lady very unpleasantly charged my card without telling me the total I went over the shirts only to find out that they're all have deep creases on them and that the collar on each one is squished. I tried to explain her that this is not the way the shirts should look after paying 4.50 per shirt, And she had to call her husband so he can literaly fight with me, tell me that "this is what they can do for me", this is how shirts comes out after pressing them (as if this is the first time I'm sending my shirts to be pressed in a place like this) and to tell me that basically this is what I get from them so I should pay and leave. I told him that I'm not willing to pay for this service because I need to give it to my usual place so they can fix it because everything was overly starched and creased. He grabbed the shirts and held them as hostages not willing to give them to me(?!) I told him that I'm willing to pay if he will fix the damage that they cause do my shirts (basicly re do them) only to hear him shouting at me that there is nothing to do and this is what they do here(?!) I told him that I'm not going to pay and I'm going to cancel my credit charge that they didn't sign me on. He was not willing to give me my shirts back so I told him I'm going to call the cops on him if he doesn't give me my clothes back. Once I mentioned the police he gave me my shirts back I stormed out and I am never coming back to this place ever again! Stay away from this place and save yourself a horrible horrible experience.
