Yea, I wont be returning to this location after making them my desert clearness. I called twice and they didn't pick up. I couldn't find a suit and freaked out and thought maybe I dropped it off here and forgot about it, which scared me because I would've probably had done that 7 months ago, the last time I wore it. So I drove down there to find out it wasn't there. Came back home, found it, called again to see if it could be ready in time if I dropped it off, again no answer. Today is Wednesday, They told me it would be ready until Tuesday. I've never had that long of a turn around with them. I asked if they could have it done Saturday if I paid extra. The gentleman politely said that he could not.... Now, I'm not upset that he couldn't get me what I wanted when I wanted, I'm upset that they weren't answering the phone. They could've saved me a trip and I would've found another cleaners. So I get into my car, call the nearest cleaners to where I was, which was a good 10 minutes in the opposite direction of where I live At least they answered, told me they could have it done by Saturday and charged me the same price that Aiden does. I will not be supporting this cleaners after years of service. I'll make it a three-star review because they were good in the past but that's really me being nice. read more

Rather disappointed. After being a customer for nearly 20 year: (began with the old owners), One of my dress shirts mysteriously ended up with ink spots on it after dry cleaning. I called and they asked me to bring it in, I did, and not only did they not attempt to remedy the problem, but apparently the owners didn't believe that they could have caused this issue. The shirt was brand new, but that's besides the point. I would expect at least a conversation with the owner after 20 years of business. FYI, Lillian is great, she's always been amazing... But the new owners just don't seem to value customers. read more

I brought in a rug to be cleaned. I should have known that something wasn't right because I was asked to pay for the area rug immediately. This is a faux rabbit rug. I asked the owner could he clean the rug area where the item got wet. I let him know what wasted on the rug. He assured me he would clean the rug. I went to drop off my other clothes and pick the rug up. Excited to get my rug back. I opened the case the held my rug to find out the carpet had not been cleaned. I explained this to the owner and asked what methods did he use. I could feel the same area where I wasted the item had not been cleaned. I pointed out the texture of the area where nothing wasted and the area he was supposed to clean. I told him if it had been cleaned properly the rug might look all the same. He wanted his $35 started yelling at me. He did not explain how he cleaned the rug and when. The young lady in the store looked at me and she said she didn't think it had been cleaned. She told me to tell him to clean it again. The owner started throwing the rug at me in the store. I asked him why would I pay for him to not to clean my rug. Then I asked him should I pay for him throwing the rug at me. I felt humiliated, mistreated, and insulted. At the time I was in the store I was on a conference call and my family heard all of the commotion and how the owner was disrespecting me. I grabbed my rug walked out the store and did not leave my clothes I was going to drop off because of the owner's behavior. I was in my car and he walked out of the store yelling at my telling me to pay, pay. My passenger in the car was like you don't have to speak to her like that. She was like what is his problem. I was still on the phone. The owner went on yelling about he has to pay the store, the lights, the employees. I asked how is that my concern. He said you don't have money to pay. I told him I did but what am I paying for. Paying for my rug to not have been cleaned. So he stands out in parking area yelling at me for 10 minutes. I walk in the store and pay but have decided I need to exhaust other remedies. I paid this man for not cleaning my items and my rug is ruined because his failure to treat and care for my rug properly. His failure to not admit he was not able or didn't know how to clean the rug. So he rather take my money for me leaving the rug thinking I wasn't going to double check his work. I have had questions about the cleanliness of my clothes and the rug confirmed my thoughts. My clothes are not being dry cleaned. Do not trust this owner. Do not bring your nice clothes. I am going back to my cleaners in Rancho Mirage. Reporting this business. He gets No stars but yelp asked for me to select a star. This is a horrible business owner. read more

I am down with Mike W. on this. I have been using them since shortly after I moved to the desert eight years ago. In that time, they consistently go well above and beyond the expectations I have of any business I regularly do business with. Their work is impeccable--most of what I am taking are dress shirts which without exception are washed, pressed and starched just right. What makes them fantastic is everything beyond that. Some examples include help to the car, the rush jobs on a couple of shirts because I failed to plan ahead at no additional charge, the free clothes hook made for automobiles, the gift of a lint roller each holiday season and most importantly pleasant conversation and the feeling that they are truly happy to see you. As I read some of the less favorable reviews, I can't help but believe they can be attributed to myopic awareness of and parochial attitudes toward diverse ways of communicating, not the quality of the services provided at Aiden Dry Cleaners. I asked for a pair of pants to be hemmed two inches. When I got them home, I tried them on they were still too long. I checked the hem... and it had clearly been taken up less than an inch. I went back and explained there had been an error. If she had just apologized and fixed it, I would be writing a great review, but noooooooo... she did agree to fix it, but with ATTITUDE. The true test of customer service is not what happens when everything goes right... it's how they recover when something goes wrong. And this business failed miserably. read more

The true measure of a business is customer service when things don't go well.They lost an item-Ann Taylor sweater. I've been a regular customer for over 2 years and was satisfied with their service up to that point. I fully expected them to make this right. Wrong, they just kept saying they didn't lose my sweater even though she remembered the sweater-it was a bright green color. There was no offer to make this right for a regular customer. All I wanted was them to offer me some nominal amount or a credit but they owner wouldn't even look at me. Really? I think one of their other customers got my sweater and probably kept it or something. I was stunned. Now, I'm going to take my business elsewhere. There are plenty of dry cleaners in the valley. I make a point of supporting local businesses first but will never give this cleaner one more penny of my money. Shame on you Aiden. You lost a regular customer and don't even care. read more

The dress was perfectly cleaned, and propped up with a cardboard mannequin thing (sorry, I don't know what it's called). This is another one of those businesses that I cannot for the life of me figure out why they only have 4 stars, it's almost like they have to deal with the regular public who, well, we all know, that sometimes people's expectations are unrealistic and the only person they can blame it on is the business they're doing business with. These guys are incredible, they can get your stuff done in one day if you need it done in one day, I am disabled so it is hard for me to put belts in my pants and they actually put the belts back in after they're done dry cleaning them, that kind of service is rarely seen anymore and the owners of the business are the hardest working people at the business and that's saying a lot because there are a lot of hard-working people there, people who to me it seems certainly appreciate your doing business with them and helping them stay employed. I just pick some stuff up and they actually came out to my car and offered me a special hook to help me hold my clothes in my car, unbelievable. read more

We'd gotten two dresses altered for fit and sleeve length. At that time, we were pleased with the result, price and timeliness. However, when I took my daughter's brand new prom dress in to simply be shortened, we had disastrous results. I didn't look over the dress when I picked it up, just trusted the quality of work. The dress was a lovely art deco style and heavy with tiny beads which were sewn on to a delicate outer mesh type fabric. The lady who altered it, only roughly cut the mesh overlay, and did not shore it up with any kind of hem, so when my daughter went to put on her dress for the evening, all the beads were sliding off the dress in a waterfall. The threads which were strung with beads also came loose and began dragging behind her, tangling around and under the heels of her shoes. This is how she walked out of the house for the dance and she was understandably very upset. After that night, I took the dress back to Aiden's and gave her an opportunity to fix it rather than ask her to refund my alteration fee as well as pay for the dress. She actually said she could fix the dress, but it would take a month or more. I agreed to wait and then she went on to defend that it was the manufacturer's fault as she had altered another dress of that brand with a similar result. Obviously she failed to realize the simple concept in causing all these beads to fall when she cut the dress, while doing nothing to finish the edge leaving loose those threads the beads were strung on. At this point I allowed little hope it might get fixed well enough to sell and get some of our $300.00 back. A couple months later she called and left a message that the dress was ready. I honestly don't even see much improvement. It looks like she just gave up. She tried to add more beads, but she didn't even attempt to continue the pattern or bring the beaded trails all the way back down to the edge of the dress. No way would anyone want to buy this dress on consignment, but I realized it would have been a waste of my breath to discuss the issue further with her. I guess my loss will be your gain when you take your precious alterations elsewhere. read more

This place is horrible! Some of the worst customer service that I have ever experienced--I don't appreciate being glared at, being treated rudely, or being looked at like I'm trash. All of which have happened here, by various people (presumably the owners and their daughter). Recently used the Aiden dry cleaning and laundry service located at the Rio Vista Shopping Center in Cat City. Very pleased with the service and the quality. The price at $2.75 per regular laundered shirt is also the best price I have encountered in our valley. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.
