We asked the Office Secretory to check with insurance company and get exact what would be covered and how much would be out-of-packet expense, and agreed the out-of-pocket amount would the only (final) amount we pay before we come in for the service, but after everything done and full amount paid, and when insurance decline some of their claims, they kept coming to us to ask for more money, regardless the previous agreement. As a matter of fact, when we asked insurance company, the insurance company keep saying they use the wrong code, I wonder if they were overcharged us or over-claimed, even though we had an oral agreement only responsible for a fixed full amount before start the work. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend, I would actually advise never go to the Halliard Advanced Dentistry for any of your dental treatment, this dental office is the worst experience I ever have! very disappointed!

When the day of the appointment arrived and I showed up at the office, the staff told me they had to cancel my appointment and claimed they called me three times to let me know. I did not receive any calls or texts on the day of my appointment that communicated any cancellation. They could not provide any proof that they called me three times. My question is, why do they constantly harass you with texts and calls to confirm the appointment, but when it comes to canceling it, they give zero notice? Do not waste your time or money here because they are incompetent.

However, I needed some simple x-rays of my teeth and either the x-ray holder was TOO BIG for my mouth or the "hygenist?" was placing them incorrectly and they wouldn't go in. I said, OW. YOU'RE HURTING ME. So she shoved harder and started fussing like a 2 year old. I said, STOP. THEY DON'T FIT. DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. She stamped her feet, fussed like a baby and said, so you are refusing the procedure? NO, i said. IT DOESN'T FIT. DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. She called in another staff member to complain that i was Un-Cooperative or something. This staff member did NOTHING USEFUL. Didn't even speak to me at all. 1st woman- then braced herself like she was pushing a bolder up a mountain and began SHOVING the appliance back into my mouth. It still didn't fit. I was in so much PAIN that i nearly jumped out of the chair. Almost to tears, the 1st highly trained and skilled "hygenist" finally brought in Dr. Cheung. I told him the appliance didn't fit in my mouth. Please do something different. He immediately told them to do the xray a different way. No problems. It was done in a moment. Professional. I DON'T BELIEVE that the xray film would not fit in my mouth with the application of even the slightest professionalism or patience or that ANY of the fussing and violence to my mouth associated with getting the x-ray was even necessary. Any person even remotely interested in actually getting the job done- would have accomplished this simple task with almost no trouble at all. This female hygenist and the staff in general are Stunningly Brave, absolutely Beautiful, perfect in Every Way and are obviously being oppressed. Please don't change a thing. And, when specialist care is required, they make apt recommendations and help you connect with the help you need. They have cared for my teeth from nearly age 27 to age 37, and I credit that I still have most of my mouth in original condition due to their efforts (and, frankly, in spite of my own). The office seems to have alot of updated tech for X-rays and 3D imagery which gave a very clear picture of your mouths health. We tried this dentistry because it was conveniently located by our house but I would say the prices were the same as other dentistry offices we've been to and they review all of the costs with you so there are no surprises. This conversation led to us having an extremely candid conversation about our families and how we used our struggles to continue to push forward.
