To their "oh, you need to have the bill paid in full before we will remove the braces" to "oh, we won't schedule another appointment until you make another payment." I've listened to them chew people out in their waiting room, just over all extremely rude and inconsiderate. Take your children elsewhere.

Although this policy is bizarre and frankly biased toward blended families (my husband apparently now responsible for the bill my ex-husband was ordered to pay and did not), putting that aside for a moment, there's no need to be rude to him when he comes in to schedule. Some of the staff is amazing and friendly. Dr. Price is super nice. And it's weird, very often I have GREAT experiences with the owners/doctors, but it's ALWAYS the staff where the problems are. Some of the staff is gruff and mean - and told my eldest "she's getting ready to retire and is tired of dealing with all of this" (this was after she called his mom to complain we weren't there yet - I was CHECKING IN during this time, and when she discovered this, she came over and started yelling at the woman checking me in). So, now my biggest gripe. Their "billing" department. My son has braces. It happens. I make payments every time I take my son in (split parenting - sometimes mom takes him, sometimes I take him, so I may go in 1-2 months at a time). I always ask - "what do I owe?" and would make a payment on his braces. No big deal, right? Except they WERE NOT giving me the total I owed. They only would tell me *THAT MONTH'S PAYMENT.* So when I would pay, they would charge me "what was due that MONTH" not that "I owed TWO MONTHS." So they let that balance accumulate to eventually tell his mom - not me - that "he wasn't making payments according to the contract." His mom signed the contract. We have an agreement - she paid the initial cost, I'm covering the monthly payments. They don't send me the bill. They don't email me. They don't call me. They waited until my son's bracket came loose and told her "they'll help him this time, but we need to get caught up on the bill." They didn't bother to tell me the numerous visits because "they don't want to have finance discussions in front of your children." Which leads me to ask... what's the worse conversation? Once every month or two, saying "you owe two payments" or waiting until the time comes to remove the braces and saying "You are behind ten or more payments, and your child's braces won't be removed until you are caught up." It's ridiculous, right? A small, slightly uncomfortable conversation of "you owe two payments" or an epic "you owe a thousand dollars or more" at the end? You don't want to have that conversation in front of my child, but I have to call and have a bigger conversation of you NOT TELLING ME what my balance is when I ask, because you think it'd be uncomfortable, so now we can have this over the phone, in front of my kids, but not at your office? How would anyone think that is appropriate? It's stupid. They need to get their act together.

My usual dentist changed insurance policies and I was having a hard time finding a spot that would take new patients without having to wait several months out. I joked that it'd be awesome if I could just come here ... guess what? THEY SEE ADULT PATIENTS!! Best thing ever. I saw Dr. Brad and he was awesome! Easy to schedule an appointment, very friendly staff and the best toothpaste flavor choices ever....cookie dough toothpaste? Sign me up! Bottom line - make it easy on yourself - bring the whole family here.

You don't feel like you are in some fluorescent lighting hellscape that some dental offices feature. Everyone who works here is so sweet and friendly. They all seem happy to be working at this office. I'm a woman and I prefer female dentists and hygienists and that is what they offer here. Anyone can go but this place just feels especially for the girlies. If you know, you know. I get my cleanings and checkups and I get masseter Botox done. I grind my teeth at night when I sleep and this has helped me stop without the need for a night guard. The prices are reasonable and they have an in house membership plan that I use. I've been to a lot of dentists but this is my dentist now and I'll be going here until the wheels fall off.

Hands down - the best practice out there!…read more Every visit is excellent. I just had a filling done and there were no needles - the local anesthesia was just right. No gratuitous numbing, just enough to make sure I felt nothing - within 45 mins I was back to normal as if I never went to the dentist at all! Dr. Gavin and her team are incredibly professional, competent and current. I like going to the dentist now! The office is beautiful with pretty champagne-gold colored chairs and a clean and cozy waiting room with free coffee and bottled water. They have a flat screen TV with Netflix that they can position in front of you while you're getting work done if you want. Dr. Gavin and Mary Kay get a special shout out for discovering I might have an obstructive sleep disorder and encouraging me to get tested. I listened to them and it turns out I do have a severe condition. I was losing up to 30% of necessary oxygen intake while I slept! I'm so grateful to them for discovering this and now I'm in such a much better place getting the oxygen I need. I drive 35 mins to get to there and back because I live downtown. I don't mind at all, they're totally worth it!! **Their office is in the Mount Carmel Health Center in Lewis Center - a state of the art wellness center that has a restaurant, gym and other facilities.
