Not as good as I was told. Ribs were oven baked then had bbq sauce thrown on, prime rib was chewy. prices were to high for what we got.

Larry Rand, the owner checked us in. I gave him my debit card and he ran it. Larry did not give me a reciept. i checked my charge the next day.$153!!!!! My son had told me Royal Scott runs specials daily, as a lot of courses are not busy during the weekdays, competition is strong and courses are not making money or going out of business. I lived in the area for over 20 years and live outside of the local area now, coming up to golf with family. We teed off and the course was empty..The course has not improved in the decades Ive been away. This will be the last time I golf here. $153 for 3 people to golf on a weekday is bad business. Dont waste your time paying premium price on a sub par golf course.

Not a big deal as it is supposed to go to your overall payment for golf when you show up. LIES. It is just an online fee. Is this not 2016? Then you go in to get your cart and pay for your tee time. The guy at the desk was rude. I do not really have another way to describe the interaction with him besides that fact. Back to the charging you for everything. If you do not actually golf and just are coming with you have to pay $5. That's right folks I PAID $5 to watch my husband golf. Moving onto the course itself. The grounds are well kept up and the holes are relatively challenging. My husband liked the game play and it was a fun back course. The golf carts supplied where zippy and the places where you could not drive them where clearly marked. I think we may come back in the future because the course was worth it. They could work on their pricing system and have a more clear website.

We booked a round here for 7 couples well in advance through Club Corp (we are all members at Bay…read moreOaks CC in Houston). After we booked the round the manager reached out to us to see if we were going to eat lunch after the round (customer service, what a novel idea!). The director of golf welcomed all four of our groups on the first tee. The on course drink service was first rate. Aside from all this superior customer service, the golf course is phenomenal and well maintained. We will be back!

Read all the fine print in the charter and don't expect any humanity…read more I was recently diagnosed with ALS in November at age 52. In late July, the club did an "extra assessment" for renovations of approximately $8,000, which I paid because I didn't know about my diagnosis yet. With ALS, playing golf is no longer in the cards, so in November I called the club to end my membership. As the club had just started some of the renovations, I asked if they would consider returning even a portion of the $8,000. Keep in mind this is Not the non-refundable initiation fee - it's an "extra" assessment that I will never benefit from. I was told that the Board would consider it but after 3 weeks they decided NOT to return even a penny of the extra assessment. When my wife called a board member to discuss the member said that we have members die every year and the by-laws say no refunds ever. We have since found out that there aren't any terminal members like me, but that's a whole different story. Look - I understand charters and by-laws, but typically Boards have discretion to judge each situation on its own merit. I think I was expecting a little humanity as I confront the final chapter of my life and I received none. Great Course, Great Staff... Ruthless Board. I need to remove all stress from my life so I needed to write this and then be done.

My golfing buddies found this place and we rented a simulator for a couple of hours. It's a small…read morespace that has three simulator screens. They also have this machine that helps you with having the perfect golf swing. There a lot of options with the simulator. We started off with the driving range to warm up a little bit, and then we did a 2 person team scramble (so we can get through as many holes as possible). What's cool is there are tons of actual golf courses that you can choose from. We ended up selecting this popular course that's in Scotland. You can bring your own clubs, which is good so you're more comfortable with your play. The big hump to get over was hitting the floor with your club. On regular golf course, you hit the ground you make a divot from the grass. It's a little harder when you hit the floor here, but when wasn't that bad. Once you got in a rhythm, it wasn't that bad if you accidentally hit the floor. Another difference from real play is once you get the ball on the green, you're done with the hole. You don't need to put. As someone who is terrible at putting, I was excited by that. The reason is the ball needs to hit the screen in order to register the hit, and that impossible to do with putting. You can bring your own food and drink here. They do sell sodas, water and a couple of other drinks for $1-2, and Jack's Pizza for $10 which is a rip off...but whatever. If you're an avid golfer, this is a great place to go during the winter as you can go whenever you can, or you can join one of their Monday/Wednesday leagues.
