Pizza buffet!!! I have seen several negative reviews about this place and they make me sad. I had a great experience here. Went on a Sunday at lunch and it was pretty busy but the pizzas came out fast so that's the best. The pizza crust is very thin, which is awesome for a buffet. Having said that, the ends of the crust were kind of bland. It would have been nice to have some red sauce to dip in, but the crust was small so it wasn't a huge deal. The salad bar looked amazing. Everything looked super fresh and the sign said it had over 40 items. However, I didn't try it because I wanted to fit as much pizza as possible in my body. If you're expecting gourmet pizza this isn't the place for you. But if you want some really good food and a lot of it for not much money, you won't be disappointed! read more

I have enjoyed Village Inn Pizza since I was 16, it was the first place I drove my car, to have a meal by myself. The Pizza Buffet is delicious and they have a great Salad Bar with various lettuce and many toppings and dressings. Their Pizza is what I love the Best. The Crust is the perfect thickness and it is delicious. The sauce, cheese and toppings are fresh and delicious. This VIP is a new style of restaurant with plenty of room to bring your child's party guests. It is as clean as a pin! Their Staff goes that extra mile to make sure that you enjoy yourself. Do yourself a favor and go by and try all their delicious options. I might even be there, as well. read more

The energy at the old location was 10x better, it was small, cozy, and that vintagey feel , just felt different. It was the perfect environment to take my family to. This new place feels like any other modern restaurant. The lady picking up the dishes for some reason was cleaning up everybody else's table except ours. The entire hour we were there she cleaned up all the tables but not one single time did she stop by our table. The overall experience was very disappointing. read more

Barely mediocre. Edible? Yes. But, why? To me, really, I rather buy a frozen pizza and make my own salad at home. That end result is much more worth my time and money than this was. The salad bar is pretty flimsy considering the lettuce is shredded and the "bacon bits" are of the fake variety; processed, no real bacon, so crunchy you could crack a tooth kind. You eat with plasticware...flimsy plasticware. Annnnd, if you enjoy eating in a clean atmosphere skip this spot altogether. The tables all (yuck) had greasy and sticky spots. We opted for the cleanest one we could find, I started to eat a piece of my pizza (now evident where all the grease is coming from) and I notice that the wall that our booth is connected to is literally covered in grease and food splatters and stains. Ughh. That was it. I was done. No refund requested, nothing said...because really a place that operates like this doesn't care to do any better than the bare minimum. The variety of pizza offered was sad. The cost for such cheaply made food is ridiculous. Staff at the front counter wasnt the brightest or friendly. The salad bar is a joke. If "all you can eat" is all you care about, then this is your place. Otherwise; keep driving. read more

With Nice variety of buffet offerings of Pasta & Sauce, garlic toast. healthy salad items. potato & macaroni salad Homemade soup Fruit and dessert choices The Pizza buffet choices were great! From simple cheese pie to supreme loaded. Plentiful, piping hot and non stop!! Cooked perfectly. Crisp thin crust. Even dessert pizza's Apple, cherry, chocolate chip and Reese's peanut butter cup pizza Staff all was EXCELLENT! Made us feel like an appreciated guest. NOTE- Building older, but don't let that stop you from going in for a nice meal and friendly visit COVID - It was apparent this business took seriously the requirements to meet state code to keep us safe while dining with them. We eat here at least twice a month because it has a great salad bar, pizza bar, and always good pasta and if you are in the mood for a chili or soup there is that too. It usually cost around $22 for two people to have a great meal. New carpet and a fresh coat of paint have this place looking great inside and out. read more

The only problem I had with the pizza is the cheese. The cheese I feel like was too thick and a bit hard to chew but overall it tasted great. Though the price was a bit too high for my liking, for the very few variety of pizza you get to pick from. The chocolate pizza wasn't bad though I wish it was a bit more crunchy. Don't let the dated decor deter you from this place. Food is good, service is better, and it's clean. I can get the buffet and drink for under $10 at lunch and trust me it's worth that. If you're in a rush off of 40 but want a sit down quick meal, this is your place. read more

Not bad! Pizza reminded me of my childhood! I can tell that they haven't changed how they make their pizzas, and that's so refreshing! I really enjoy their pizza and the buffet style eating. They take special requests for pizzas even with paying for buffet you can get what you want. Salad bar is awesome. The owner is very nice and frequents the tables asking how you are which is a very awesome gesture now a days. read more

The pizza bar is mediocre with limited selections. The pizza itself is good, but I think over-priced for similar pizza deals in the area. The salad bar is small but the lettuce looked fresh, other things not so much. The table tops were sticky which would lead me to wonder about the overall cleanliness. I had a problem with the salad bar being so close to the bathroom doors. The restaurant's food has potential, but there probably needs to be better management to handle the cleanliness and employee appearances. I will say that I have eaten at another Village Inn pizza in Lenoir, NC that is clean and seems to be well managed. Try that one if you want a good Village Inn experience. read more

I visit here about once per week. I normally have no issues with this place. The food is usually pretty good and the price is fair. However on my visit today, I ordered for the buffet a Chicago style Super Veggie. When it came out, the bottom of the crust was on the extreme side of crispy. After taking a bite of the pizza, I discovered the crust is made by pressing 2 crusts together to make a thicker crust. That's just not acceptable to me, and shouldn't be a common practice. My wife and I went to Village Inn in Morganton, I never thought people was able to come to your table and demand more money for nothing..this place is nasty with there tomato sauce, overdone burnt pizza's that you couldn't cut with a chainsaw..the Manager don't look to be 20 and come up on people's table and scrub them out in front of alot of people..I'll never eat at the nasty joint again..from now on it's pizza hut for my grandbabies.. read more

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Went to the WING night did not have WINGS for 45 minutes. I politely asked for my money back and was told i could not have a refund. I did eat a salad and drank my tea so I was reasonable and said I would be content with half my money returned. Again was told no and dismissed as if my issue was not a concern. read more
