Tried to order a sandwich at the deli counter. The guy working pointed at a prepackaged sandwich in the fridge and said "are you sure you don't want this?" I politely said thank you and walked out. Guess they don't like out of towners. read more

Nice little store. Prices are pretty high in the meat department. But, we shop there when we are in the area. However, today we were in there to get some potatoes and they were all green. The organic potatoes were green and the non-organic potatoes were green. Green potatoes are poisonous. They can cause horrible health issues. They should have not put green potatoes on their shelves. For that reason, I will not buy produce there ever again. read more

This is a very convenient store, not far from the ski lifts. Plenty of selection for most items you need. The hot soups I'm the deli are amazing, different selections every day! Parking is a bit challenging in winter, but manageable. Just don't try to turn in from Main. read more

Cute little market. We wanted to try try the local toni's ice cream. They had it at this location. It was gross. We were so disappointed. They also had the locally made Idaho spud bar. Fun little market if you need to pick up any grocery items. read more

Such a friendly 'little' market in Ketchum. We needed water as our water was turned off. Got to the market at their closing hour & the staff let us in to run around the store to shop AND were so friendly and gracious about it. The store has everything you need, I'd much rather go here than to a larger supermarket. I go here for sleds, for cheese, for sauces, for beer, and for groceries. :) read more

For a market in the mountains of Idaho, they have an excellent selection of dry and frozen foods. The staff are a fun group. They also have a good selection of wine, beer, and a liquor store. Highly recommend whether you need a snack or groceries. read more

This is one of the nicest markets I have been to ever. The quality of food (organic, local) was fantastic. We got some snacks as well as ice cream made from a local vendor. The store was clean and organized and had everything we needed for our short time in Ketchum. They have plenty of parking in a decent sized lot out front. The only negative is that the store is a little small - they wouldn't have everything you needed if you lived in the area. It's also on the pricey side, which is what you would expect from a small mountain town. read more

Main St. Market is Ketchum and Sun Valley's full service gourmet grocery store. They have it all, a great deli, a great wine department with unusual wines, specialty and gourmet foods, gluten free, organic produce and meats, and Peet's Coffee. Add on to that a friendly staff and great service and its my favorite place to shop in the valley. read more

This place is expensive, but ok if you want to go to a less busy market. They have more parking than Atkinson's and your car won't get hit just sitting in the parking lot. Small beer and wine section makes for something to be desired, but they have a few things the other market doesn't. read more

Sometimes you just have to review a grocery store. Every time I take a trip I get a condo, so that means we end up spending quality time (and cash) at the grocery store. This place has everything you need, plus some pretty good pastries considering Ketchum is seriously lacking in bakeries. I didn't sample their prepackaged food, but it looked like a good, convenient option. The staff was pretty friendly and the produce wasn't over priced. Walked in today with my daughter all masked up per regulations. I turned to make sure she was following when a woman passed by behind us and yelled 6ft. Ladies, this is our town...as She went into the back employees Area. She came from behind us...I too live and pay races here. Her manner was rude and entitled. This market is fine, quieter than the other market in town which definitely has its appeal. Better parking too. Great produce section and pretty much everything else you'd need. In terms of ready to eat foods though, it was pretty disappointing. No vegan (or even vegetarian) sandwiches or other options. And the soup choices were also a bummer. This place is definitely not "legit," as others have suggested. I suppose if you are rating it by Idaho standards, it's okay, meaning it tastes relatively exotic compared to the normal burgers and pizza places. BUT: the panang curry tastes like a watered-down yellow curry; the larb is mild and sort of sweet; the pad see ew noodles are hard and chewy in places with very little flavor. The spring rolls are two notches below Panda Express egg rolls (chewy and bland). I guess that's what happens when the chef chooses to cater to Ketchum palates. Too bad. The service was fine, though. I have been going to the village market consistently for the last several months. I find the array of produce, deli products, and healthful food items to be excellent, given the volume of traffic that market gets. The only weakness I have seen is in the Area of fresh meats and fish. I have been there when the only available fresh fish was trout, which I bought it was yummy, and also when the only available fresh fish is East Coast salmon, which I also bought was yummy. But the overall offering is particularly narrow and not always exciting. The same goes for the fresh meats, which look good not great. The bakery items, produce and ethnic spices and ingredients more than make up for the fresh meat/seafood issue. Staff have also uniformly been pleasant, smiley, and helpful, whether it's locating an item or just casual conversation. I recommend this over the other grocers in Ketchum for cleanliness, service, and overall experience. read more

Phenomenal customer service. I contacted Main Street Market to help me put together a gift basket for a friend of mine who lives in Ketchum (I am in NYC). Contacted the market at 7:30AM Idaho time and they got back to me by 8AM with the appropriate person on the telephone ready to help me put my order together. They helped me put together 2 baskets of the best local assorted gourmet food items that they recommended plus some items that I was particular about (Cabot cheese, Tate's cookies, Chocolove chocolate bars, Mason cakes [cakes in a jar] -- all of which they had in stock). They went out of their way to write out a card from my group of friends and deliver all same day. In fact, the basket was ready to go by 10AM Idaho time but I advised them to delay delivery a couple of hours to make sure someone was home to receive it! Truly kind people who work there and 100% ready to help with the best attitudes. HIGHLY recommend. read more

I went here after going into Atkinson's which I found to be crowded and unclean. I went around the corner to Village Market which is very clean and well stocked with all kinds of prepared foods and regular groceries. Great place to find what you need. read more
