First, they always show up when they say they will. Second, their plumbers know what they're doing. Third, their guys have pointed out a couple of potential issues along the way which weren't part of the original scope of work, but nonetheless were pretty helpful to know as a homeowner. I know that pointing out issues is kind of like upselling, but it actually didn't come across as upselling because there wasn't any pressure to do the work. And that information you get is pretty helpful. The only downside to working with them is the price. They are by far the most expensive plumber I've worked with in the area. I kid you not, one time I got an estimate from them and as I reviewed their email in the middle of a Zoom call, I literally said out loud "holy fucking shit bro" not realizing my mic was on, which was a bit embarrassing. That said, I later agreed to the proposal because nobody else was available as fast. So yeah their availability and their quick response time is definitely important to me. I don't always use Mike's, sometimes they get undercut on price by a company that can come out quickly. But I know that when I do hire them, I will be in good hands, though with a lighter wallet. Four stars. Keep them in your contact list just in case!

Elena told me that I could come in today, Feb 22 at 2:30 pm. I am from Boynton Beach, FL and spent around 30-minutes driving to Tambovsky Strings at West Palm Beach for the 2:30 pm appointment. As I arrived at Tambovsky Strings at 2:15 pm, I saw that the front door to Tambovsky Strings had a sign that said "Closed." I looked into the store from outside and saw that there were 3-4 lamps turned on within the store along with the main lights. I had a bad feeling about this encounter and decided to call her at 2:15 pm to make sure that she was on her way to Tambovsky Strings to restring my cello. The phone just rang 5-times and then went to voicemail. I left a voicemail with my name, my cell phone# and reason for call and did not hear back from her. So then I called again at 2:44 pm and left another voicemail again with my name, my cell phone# and reason for call. Then at 3:05 pm I receive a text from Elena at Tambovsky Strings stating that I was supposed to text her that I was there or to confirm the appointment. This was obviously an excuse to dismiss her irresponsibility and unprofessional behaviour toward the appointment we setup today at 2:30 pm where she was a "No Show." In addition, I never received any texts stating that I had to confirm today's appointment. Other than that, Tambovsky Strings store is also an antique store. Their instagram is @antiquerow I highly do not recommend this shady and irresponsible music / antique store. Please beware!

Our instructor, Lauren (who co-owns the business), pushes each of us to play more challenging songs, but keeps it fun and interesting by working on songs that we like and want to learn how to play. The decor and music create a very relaxing atmosphere, which is conducive to the experience. There's a pool table and game room, a stage area, and a bar, in addition to all the couches and seats around. The area is nice and there is a nice waiting area for parents while the kids take lessons with either her or Tom (they are both amazing). She finds new ways along with traditional lessons to engage the children (things like note rush and rhythm challenges) and this makes them feel accomplished. Every year there is a Halloween show, Christmas show, and end of the year show. She does little things at the malls and old folks homes as well with the children. Everyone always comments on how my chid is so musically advanced after only a year and a half with Mrs Willow at just turning age 6. The lessons in my opinion are reasonably priced around $30 a lesson for 30 minutes and she sends them home with workbooks (homework) and activity book along with their music sheets for the piece they are working on. I know she also works with kids who are auditioning to get into music schools like Dreyfus and Bach. I highly recommend her for anyone looking to start their children in music of any sort!
