    Trivia Winners!

We love this little place for live music, trivia night, open mic, and a friendly atmosphere. Their pizza is really good on trivia nights too. And they were generous when we won on trivia night - they gave us a nice bottle of red!

The cuteness is perfect for this place, full of life and music.

This place is a hidden treasure, with the most homey feel and the cutest of decor. Every night they have a different theme of music. The live music talent is incredible, from Jazz to coffee house music. They have hired a chef for the new eclectic restaurant with fusion food style on certain evenings. If you want to learn a musical instrument this is the perfect place to go from a child to an adult you'll have an amazing teacher to teach you everything you want to know about learning that special instrument. On the outskirts of the Wellington green mall you'll find the soul hidden treasure I do recommend it go have a cup of coffee espresso or a glass of wine in setting listen to the mazing musicians.

My musical talents do not exist, but my daughter is really skilled. I wanted to find a Mom & Pop music shop that was close to our home for simple things like strings, small repairs, advice, etc. I walked in to see what they had to offer and I was really pleasantly surprised! From strings to affordable entry-level priced instruments that won't break the budget to the highest quality brand names, they have a lot of stuff packed in a nice little shop. We will be back for sure. Everyone at the store was so kind and took the time to explain to me the reasonings behind the different types of strings & supplies, which was really nice. Head on in if you are up near the Wellington Mall and check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

My only complaint is outdated menus. They no longer serve several items listed. Other than that, we love this little hidden gem! My girlfriend and I both had the Pascual Toso Malbec, $9 a glass, highly recommend, and the olive medley. Crowd is on the older side, but don't let that fool you. They know how to get down with a good time! Curious about lessons for my toddler, will be back with more friends!

What a pleasant surprise to listen to professional musicians in an intimate room adjoining the Village Music Store in Wellington. First up for the evening were the Wellington Jazz Cats. They are sooooo smooth. They were joined by the owner with his raspy voice for a few rock songs. Next a musician with a recorder for some Zen jazz. What a treat. And to top it off, a culinary delight of food prepared by an excellent chef and servered by a pleasant server They serve beer and wine. You've got to try this hidden gem in Wellington. It was worth the ride from Boynton.

During colonial times from the early 16th century through the mid-19th century, the music of Mexico's indigenous nations were influenced by the musical styles of Spanish colonists and the African slave population to form the music now called Mariachi. After the end of the Mexican revolution in the 1920's, the government began promoting Mexican folk music as a source of national pride. It is around this time that the Mariachi costumes became elaborate taking inspiration from Jalisco charros, Mexican ranchers and cowboys. By the middle of the 20th century, mariachi music had made its way into US culture, first in California, then throughout the southwest, and eventually throughout the nation. Mariachi has now become one of the most recognizable Latin music types. Carrying the Mariachi torch in South Florida is the Mariachi Show Mexicanisimo. This musical group can be hired to perform at your private events including birthdays, weddings, and other celebrations. I was able to watch them perform at a friends milestone birthday celebration. The singers had great harmony and they can sing in both Spanish and English. They offer 30 and 50 minute performances. This group was very professional and their music and vocals was enjoyed by everyone at the party. Mariachi Show Mexicanisimo is a beautiful representation of Mexican culture.

I'd recommend Kevin if you want some live music in a relaxed atmosphere with someone you feel is an old friend you haven't seen in a while.

We were all just so wowed by him so I couldn't help but ask him for his business card on my way out. About 2 years later, I got engaged and one of the first things I had to do was fish for that business card. I immediately contacted Kevin, even before I started looking at venues. The moment we had our date set, I e-mailed him right away to make sure he doesn't fill up that day! Kevin has such a wide selection of music. I loved how incredibly versatile he was and his voice is so warm and inviting. We hired him to play when the guests starts arriving, the processional, and our cocktail hour. I sent him our music selection about 1-2 month before and a lot of them he did need to learn. But I love how he wasn't pushy in any way to make us pick from his selection of music. He was more concerned that we get the music selection we want and he learned them all for our wedding. I can't stop getting rave reviews from our guests on how amazing Kevin did. I can't stop raving either about how awesome he is. His rendition of the songs we picked turned out so beautifully, I had tears coming down before I even began walking. Our guests had so much fun interacting with him during cocktail hour. My mother in law was so excited to have him play Piano Man and I really think that's a great signature song for him cause he blew my mind when I first watched it on YouTube. Everyone loved how versatile he is and it makes it really enjoyable for all ages. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you hire Kevin for any gigs. His mannerism is so calm and welcoming. He responds to all correspondence very quickly. He's got such a fun and spunky personality. He's incredibly professional. And insanely personable and just down to earth. If you don't hire him, YOU'RE A FOOL!!! =) Kevin was the little surprise I had for our guests to wow everyone. And he didn't fail me. He was the perfect cherry on top to our wedding!!!
