It works beautifully as either an appetizer or a main course. For entrées, the pan-seared cod was as impressive as it was visually appealing--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The veal was also excellent. Their veal saltimbocca offers a slightly different and very enjoyable twist; instead of the traditional sherry, it's prepared with Marsala wine, giving the dish a subtly sweeter and richer flavor profile. I also highly recommend the arancini. You receive two per order, and they're outstanding--crispy on the outside and rich and satisfying inside. Also, the homemade fettuccine was very similar to Spätzle in both taste and form - it was odd. I got the eggnog cheesecake and my companion got the lemonchello cake. The eggnog cheesecake was decent- though my companion wasn't impressed with the cake and felt the frosting was the best part of their cake. Diomede's needs to TURN OFF online ordering ASAP, as everything was processed for our order according to DoorDash, so they will not refund us. They also didn't even believe my wife when she informed them the restaurant is closed, and that I had driven there trying to pickup the food that DoorDash said was 'ready for pickup,' according to the restaurant. Will be happy to delete this review if this gets rectified and resolved, but as of right now we're out $60 and nobody seems to want to fix this issue.
