They're all great guys dedicated to the service. The barber shop itself is very unique. The places just gives off that desired vibe you get from a men's barber shop. Booking was simple and you can easily see everyone's availability online. Since this was our first time, I wasn't sure who to pick, but I noticed that Cory had over 500 five star reviews so we went with him. I'm not sure how difficult parking is on a normal basis but we were able to park on the side street with no trouble. Once we stepped on to High Street, I wasn't quite sure which building it was because the lettering on the window is slightly hidden (and I didn't pay attention to what the address was when I started my navigation) but once you walk up closer you can see the barber pole. When you walk in you feel like you're walking back in time a little. The whole vibe was pretty great! When you walk in the counter is directly in front of you and there are some stairs that go up to what I believe is the massage area. There is seating there by the door and also off to the right, including a sofa. We were greeted right away and only had to wait for a little bit to get started. The barbers are in two different sections and there is enough space so you don't feel super crowded. My son told Cory exactly what he wanted and that's what Cory did. Cory talked with my son and made him feel comfortable which I absolutely loved because normally my son doesn't talk to the barber other than answering with head nods or simple words. I think Cory did a great job treating my son like a young man instead of a kid. My son had a little complaint and Cory fixed the issue immediately. I'm pretty sure my son just found his permanent barber! Even if you have to drive a little further, I think this place is definitely worth checking out. The prices were really reasonable, payment was easy, and the service was wonderful.

Welp, this little gem in German Village is just what I was looking for! It's an old house converted into a barbershop with 1-2 chairs per room. The decor is awesome and it feels very cozy. Booking online is a breeze, and no credit card is required to make an appointment for a regular haircut ($35). There is free street parking on High St or some of the side streets. I've been to two different barbers, and both did a great job on the cut. Personalities were surely different though -- one was very chatty, the other not so much. I'll say straight out that I'm never very happy with my hair coming out of any barber, so getting it short and manageable is really me end goal. What made me a repeat customer is a couple things. First off, my haircuts have never taken more than 8 minutes. Tops. Then he has this fantastic little shop vac that he uses to suction off loose hair before you go. None of that blow drier nonsense which just shoots the hair into the nooks and crannies of my ears and usually into my clothes. Lastly it's cheap. $7 for a men's haircut. Just be sure to let him know what his tip is before he rings up your credit card. He doesn't keep the transaction open for you to add one afterwards.
