We had some much fun we came back the next night! Shows and comedy were hilarious and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Being open-minded and interested in experiencing various walks of life pays off when living in Miami. Looked on eventbrite for something to do on a recent Friday night. Found a RuPaul's Drag Race elimination round watch party. And this is how I learned about Villain Theater! From what I gathered, there is quite a variety of programming here like improv and comedy shows A friend and I met up here for the big event. I've been familiar with Little Haiti for decades but admittedly haven't kept up with what's going on since the area started changing. All that to say, I went in totally blind. Well, honey. Villain Theater opened my eyes! Wide open, in a great way. There is a lobby/waiting area with a concession stand and restrooms. The theater inside is dark with low lighting, plenty of seating and a stage that is easily viewable from any seat in the room. On the evening I visited, not only was there the RPDR watch party with amazing hosts, there was even an all-out revue! Now, I wasn't expecting this. Nevertheless, it was certainly an entertaining and tasteful experience with expert performers as well as amateurs. Pro tip is bring plenty of cash ($1s and $5s) - I know for next time. Performers also accept tips via electronic payment. :) Villain Theater felt like an all-inclusive safe space. Everyone was welcomed in and treated with respect. I highly commend the staff and hosts for doing an excellent job in that regard. Major pluses were free parking, cheeeap drinks and they have popcorn!

Hands down the best place in Miami for real local comedy. Amazing stand up shows every Friday night and improv shows on Saturdays. There is also karaoke Saturday that is a blast. Delicious drinks that aren't too expensive. You can even order from your table to easily get your drinks delivered on demand! Amazing community who are super supportive of students. Perfect place to learn to do stand up, improv, or comedy writing. If you haven't been to Villain already, you are missing out! We will see you there soon!

Hilarious improv group. Very funny and creative. Lots of great talented comedians/improv actors on stage tonight. Very nice people and definitely a place fans of acting and comedy should put on their list of places to go when I Miami.

Ben Brainard out back after the show.

The atmosphere was completely electric, with a massive crowd packed in to watch the game. What really stood out to us was how safe the environment felt. As two women attending completely alone in the middle of such a huge, high-energy crowd, we felt entirely comfortable and secure the whole time. On top of the amazing energy, everything was exceptionally well-managed. The staff was hustling non-stop, working constantly to keep the entire place super clean and the lines moving efficiently. Plus, everything was very reasonably priced, which is a rare find for a major game-day watch spot. Fantastic vibes, great prices, hardworking staff, and a safe environment--we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be back for the next big game!

It was our very first pottery class, and while we were both excited, we were equally nervous about making something that didn't resemble a lopsided cereal bowl. Mercy immediately put us at ease with her genuine smile, approachable demeanor, and patient guidance. She has a gift for breaking down complex techniques into simple, easy-to-follow steps that made the whole process feel fun and attainable. Whether it was explaining the basics of centering clay on the wheel or showing us how to shape it with precision, she never once made us feel rushed or intimidated. Instead, she encouraged us to embrace the imperfections, reminding us that pottery is as much about creativity and connection as it is about the finished piece. What really stood out was how attentive Mercy was to both of us. She noticed when my girlfriend's hands needed a little more water to smooth the clay, or when my wheel speed was a bit too fast, and she gently corrected us without breaking our confidence. Her personalized attention made us feel like we were in the hands of a true professional who genuinely cared about our experience. By the end of the class, we had each created something we were proud of and more importantly, we had shared an experience that brought us closer together. Mercy celebrated our little victories with us and even took the time to share tips for improving if we decide to keep going with pottery in which we definitely will be. Thanks to Mercy, Truly what could have been a nerve wracking / long ride home in the car lol our first attempt turned into a joyful, bonding memory we'll cherish forever. She's truly exceptional at what she does. Already talking about when we should go back now.

Krista was there to educate the attendees on creating an effective Individual Educational Plan (IEP) and 504 Plan. Her knowledge of IDEA law, IEP's, and the school system is impressive. We left that meeting with a lot of information but it was obvious to us we lacked the amount and years of experience Krista obviously has. We contact My Educational Solutions to ensure the best possible IEP. Best decision ever! So far Krista's support has made a huge difference. She's a force to be reckoned with when in advocacy mode. During our meeting she was focused, attentive, proactive, catching possible misrepresentations, and pointing out legal rights under IDEA law. Had she not been in attendance one IEP would have had an unmeasurable goal, with no way to track progress. I would have never thought to question that. Krista had the entire IEP team brain storming what system and material they were going to use to implement that goal and measure progress. I especially like that Mrs. Barth doesn't rush to finalize the IEP, she wants it done right, quality not quantity. I will most definitely continue acquiring these services as my children grow and their needs change. I highly recommend My Educational Solutions for anyone in search of advocacy services and wants it done right. My only regret is that I hadn't met her sooner. Her tone in the meeting was not collaborative, which she indicated was her approach. I wouldn't recommend if you are out of state.
