Always a good time at the Improv... just wish they'd improve their dining menu. Okay food options aside the place is always a hit for date nights . Relaxed environment with entertainment that provides lots of laughs. Also after the show the exit leads to Cooper Blues so you can choose to stay make it a late night if you want. The service has always been friendly in my opinion. Even speedy if you get your order in early. Definitely a fun place.

Made our way down to Doral for a comedy show at the improv. A very conveniently located garage made it easy to find a cheap parking spot. The venue was comfortable, a slightly elevated stage with great sight lines and decent sound, good lighting and cold AC. Sadly our only complaint was the human element, service is not great. When you're paying these extremely over inflated prices for food and drink, (16 for fried mozzarella sticks and another $16 for the most poorly executed version of truffle parm fries we've ever eaten!) you'd expect them to be brought to you fast or at least served by someone who seems they want to be be there, but no... And drink prices? Ack!! The check comes with 18% gratuity added on (we tip more but even that amount was sadly underserved) but then paying automatically pops up a window asking how much you want to tip on top of it...

When you have been to one Florida improv location you've been to them all. The decor and seating is standard....chairs at tables. This one is much like the rest. But you don't really go here for the venue do you? You go for the show offerings. I find their two drink minimum annoying, and their food just average but overpriced. I always just try and make myself less annoyed knowing the servers appreciate the job and the tip money.

The Miami Improv is located on the second floor of Doral City Place next to Copper Blues Rock Pub and Kitchen. There are a few parking spots on the street and the Doral City Place parking garage is about a block away next to Publix. Parking is free for the first two hours and they charge after that but it isn't expensive. My friend invited me to enjoy her at a comedy show featuring Jonathan van Ness from Queer Eye. Unfortunately for me we were sitting against the stage and I was directly in view. After working my two jobs for the day I may have been a little tired and he definitely caught my wandering gaze. People were literally on their phones and I got called out for glancing at the time on my watch. My apologies. Aside from getting picked on it was an enjoyable performance. The Miami Improv has a two drink minimum and both food and drinks are expensive. We had a espresso martini and since I was driving it was followed by a soda. We decided to share a Cobb salad but we didn't care for it and the strange chicken on top and ended up leaving most of it on the tables. While the food may not always meet expectations, the quality of the performances compensates for these shortcomings. Another odd thing about the Miami Improv does not have their own restroom. You have to go next door to Copper Blues where I was ear blasted by the rock band on stage. The main reason to come to the Miami Improv is for the comedy shows and the space is intimate and inviting. Service was great and everyone working was welcoming. Doral City Place is also great location because after you finish your show there are a number of other late venues for food and drinks or you can just lounge in an Adirondack chair by the fountain.

Head to the Improv from time to time and it's always a great time with some laughs.... Some more funnier then others but always a good time with the headliners and guest comedian and host. Nice, cozy and intimate venue great for group gatherings and date nights. Be sure to sign up for their mailing list and get notices from time to time for free tickets and you only pay for a small service free so definitely worth it. There is a 2 drink minimum requirement. Bottle of water counts as a drink requirement as a tip. Specialty drinks can range from $20-$30 each. Beers are about $9-13 dollars. Maybe it may be just me or just the nights I've gone.... But boy do they make the drinks strong. Menu is your basic bar food type which comes out quick and hot! Wings were perfectly crispy and loaded fries were good and tasty. Although not perfect but a great place with a change of pace in activities and always a good laugh.

My husband and I came here with my in laws to watch Angelo Colina and we had a blast! He was super funny and kept everyone having a good time all night long. Their drink was super refreshing. I had the el ranchero in a fish bowl and it lasted me all night. The appetizers were very satisfying as well. Highly recommend this place to have a great laugh and enjoy it with good company. Definitely doing this again soon! Angelo you were HILARIOUS!

Improv is always a whole vibe. Went to see Ms. Pat and it was such an amazing time. Her openers were both hilarious and did a great job before bringing her out. Loved her style of humor. Laughed so much my cheeks hurt at one point. It was a full house so had to be extra patient with the service. Ordered some appetizers the spinach dip and truffle fries which were pretty good. To meet our two drinks minimum had high noons for the night. Cant wait return for another show.

Miami Improv is an amazing place to catch a show- anything from local improv to big headliners. Lots of seating and service is great. There's a two-drink minimum but a fishbowl counts for two and you get to keep the bowl! Lots of parking available in the parking garage an be sure to check out some of the great stores around the area before/after your show!

I really like this venue. They have some good comedians come through and the sound system and overall space is nice. But the service is so slow and the food is hit or miss. I also went to order a draft beer listed on the menu and they didn't have any draft. Then they require a two drink minimum but again take for ever to deliver them. Just a frustrating experience while ordering in general. We ordered the pizza (cheese) which was glorified frozen pizza, the spinach dip, and the French fries. The French fries were the best thing on the table.

was here for a Spanish comedy show and that part of the show was good. The service however was horrendous. Drinks took forever and there appears to be a shortage of napkins in this facility as we were given zero the entire night. Would you like some silverware? Nowhere to be found along with the server. A food runner brought out the food and was also asked for napkins and silverware and never came back. The food wasn't bad but for people who were spending the kind of money we were at a table of 10 you would think they could at least come back and ask us if everything was OK which they never did. The comedy show was decent but I would probably not come back to this facility.

Casual ambiance. They pack the tables for a show. Decent stage and sound system. Buy the tickets for a show and then its first come first serve. They have community tables in the center and some booth seating on the edges. A pretty decent drink selection, which helps since you have to buy two in a show. As for the food, nothing really called out to me this trip.

A place that's family-friendly, date-night-friendly, and perfect for a group of friends to hang out and have a good time. Doral Yard is exactly that. It's a hodgepodge of several restaurant booths along with a central bar and plenty of seating options. Everyone can order from a different vendor, which I absolutely love. If you're in the mood for sushi, your kid is craving Spanish food, your significant other wants a burger and fries, and your parents are in the mood for pizza -- there are so many options for every palate. When I went, I ordered from Poke Kai. I had the Tuna Poke Burger -- crispy rice "buns," raw tuna, eel sauce, scallions, cilantro sauce, spicy mayo, Kai salad, avocado, and sesame seeds. So good! My son ordered two sushi rolls: Mauloa Roll - salmon, cucumber, scallion, crab, fried shallots, and unagi mayo. Moana Tuna Roll - tuna, cream cheese, scallion, crab, tempura flakes, togarashi mayo, and lemon zest. My partner ordered from another vendor called YIP. He had miso soup and Peking duck bao. Of course, I also had to try the drinks from the bar (The Bar at The Yard). I ordered: NOT A PEAR IN THE WORLD ($16) - Patrón Reposado tequila, lime juice, Chile Ancho Reyes, prickly pear syrup, and Firewater Tincture bitters. WATERMELON SUGAR ($14) - Hendrick's gin, lime juice, mint, fresh watermelon juice, and simple syrup. Both drinks were super refreshing -- and one definitely had a spicy kick! My husband was happy that they had some of his favorite slots. It wasn't difficult getting on most machines but there were some machines that the people on them were not leaving anytime soon. They have a Concessions area where we saw yummy looking pastries. They also have a variety of food items available and the pricing looked reasonable. We were a little hungry so we ordered a Cuban Toast which came out steaming hot! I think it was around 10 pm when we saw a server walking around with a tray full of 4 oz styrofoam cups. They were giving out complimentary chicken soup. I'm not sure if that's something that they do every night or it was a special day. We thought that was pretty cool. The staff that we encountered were all friendly. From the bartender to the Players Club representative and the servers. They have a Magic City Casino shuttle that you can take for only $5 and they'll give you $30 free play for doing that. The only downside to that would be that it takes 2 hours to get to the casino from Broward County and you're there for 4 hours. Depending on how you're doing, it could be very annoying, lol.

While "helping" me, he was staring me up and down, licking his lips, and then had the nerve to ask for my number all in front of my wife and daughter. It was humiliating, disturbing, and beyond unprofessional. I felt extremely uncomfortable and honestly violated by the way he behaved. No employee should ever act like that toward a customer, especially in front of their family. It created a very tense and upsetting situation for all of us. On top of that, when he processed the ticket voucher, the amount was incorrect. So not only was his behavior completely out of line, but he couldn't even do his job properly. This place seriously needs to reevaluate who they hire and how they train their staff. Customers should feel safe and respected not uncomfortable and disrespected.
