However, there are a few things that have been very disappointing that I wish someone had told me before I moved in. 1. The pool hours are 11AM-7PM 7 days a week, Memorial Day - Mid September. To me, this is very limited, especially since it stays light out until almost 9 pm most of the pool season. There must be a lifeguard on duty to go in the pool. This is frustrating. The pool is lit up at night and looks very inviting to swim in; I wish they would slap a "swim at your own risk" sign up and let grown adults take a dip in the 4ft pool past 7 pm. 2. While on the subject of the pool, they had some issues with the temperature. It was the temperature of a hot tub for the last month of it being open, rendering it next to useless for anyone who wanted to cool off. Prior than that, I will say, the temperature was always perfect - not too cold (I could get right in, which is saying a lot!), but still refreshing. 4. Also, the "wet bar" by the pool is not a wet bar at all. It's where the lifeguard sits. No food or drink allowed in the pool area. Big bummer. 3. All those outdoor TVs you saw on the tour? Forget them. They don't work. So much so that the concierge didn't even know they existed when I asked for the remote for one. They said "Sorry we can't have outdoor TVs due to the weather". So what are they there for?! 5. Don't count on the indoor TVs either. The first time I asked for the remote to the large media room screen, I was told it was lost and Greystar had no plans to replace it. Mind you these things cost all of $10. Then when I actually did get a remote to use, the TV was basically useless. All it did was turn on. No channels, no ability to connect your phone to bluetooth or airplay, no ability to log in to any streaming services. All it did was turn on to a logo screen and that was all we could do. 6. No light in the family room or bedroom in my unit 7. Awful - I mean awful - dryer. The clothes come out of the washer 90% dry, the average dryer cycle is 2.5. hours, and the clothes still come out damp. Even with a load of 2 T shirts. Takes 2-3 2.5hr cycles to dry a small amount of clothes that were basically dry to begin with. Would be faster to air dry. Maintenance had the manufacturer come out and they said nothing was wrong with it. So that's just how these dryers operate. Very disappointing. Overall, these are my biggest complaints. Not huge issues in the grand scheme of things, just things I wish I knew before moving in. Hope this helps.

She made it possible for me to move-in early. I haven't even met her face-to-face yet this was done all virtually. I love my 1 bedroom apartment but I wish they updated the carpet to wood floors throughout the whole unit. I'm going to I had a small work order that needed to be fixed such as a clogged shower and sink. But the maintenance team came in minutes after placing my work order in. I've made…read morecomplaints for 1 year about the disrespectful, disruptive upstairs neighbor that has numerous kids & that stomps around like elephants all hours of the day & night. And of course manager does NOTHING. In October, a fire started on my patio, that I had nothing to do with & after being investigated the cause was "inconclusive". The manager issued me a notice to vacate, giving me 3 days to pack & get out. She knows I'm disabled & dying on hospice care & knows that the fire was not my fault & that I had no control over it. That week the fire report was issued & it confirms/supports that I was not at fault & had no control over it, yet the manager still says I have to get out & says that she has filed with the courts for eviction. I remind her again that it's impossible, I can't move, I'm sick/dying, I can't pack & move. She doesn't care at all. She refuses to have maintenance come in & repair hole in ceiling or clean up all the sheet rock from the hole where fire dept knocked hole in ceiling to make sure the fire hadn't spread. She says I have to move out before repairs can be done, but maintenance told my friend the night of the fire that they could work around my stuff to do the repairs when my friend asked maintenance if he needed to move my stuff for them. I don't recall the last time I've interacted with such a heartless, insane human being. I'm absolutely disgusted by her behavior.

When I first contacted GCA they had no pre-furnished units already available due to demand, so they quicky negotiated with several properties for available units and when I picked one, they completely furnished it in 2 days. One suggestion: clarify prior to signing up just what you'll get. I was expecting a king-size bed but was provided with a queen-size. No worries though - I asked GCA to swap out and in 2 days had a king-size bed in place. $50 delivery charge, nothing extra per night/month. The king bed seemed a little better than the queen was, but neither was top-notch in comfort. Otherwise all other furnishings were good quality and very clean. Accessories were about as complete as one would want for a short-term lease (no blender but I bet they would have provided one if I'd asked). I'll be recommending GCA to others at my company.

I brought this to the office attention numerous times about the brown water and was told they don't see it and to let the run 30 minutes before I use the bathtub. The water spits brown water everywhere so my dishes are dirty all the time. My water bill is $200 every month. No one can explain why. One of the office workers is always rude and condescending. When I signed up to live here, I was sold my rent was 1400+50. Water I have yet to see that every month I paid between 1600 and $1700 because my water bill is $200 which is insane for brown dirty water. Avoid this place at all costs. You put in work orders they're never completed or they're halfway completed.
