Service was good. Salad was disappointing. Online picture showed a nice salad with good amount of toppings. Actual salad had maybe 1 strawberry diced up and crumbles of apple chips. Tons of spring mix and very little dressings. Most of my salad did not have any touch of dressing because it was so sparing. We stopped in here on our travels south and couldn't have made a better decision. What a nice little place this is with a super friendly staff. It was very clean and the staff were very helpful in helping us with our decisions on what to get. They let us sample several of the salad dressings until we decided what would be best on our salad choices. I got the Santorini salad as is then added Kalamata olives. I paired this with the Tuscan vinaigrette and it was perfect. I also had the White chicken chili and it was fantastic. My wife had the BLT salad with the sausage potato kale soup and she loved both. We discussed the concept of their serve line which I would compare to "Chipotle" style where you pick what you want to add. I am a huge fan of vinaigrette salad kitchen. We live close to the Paddock in Louisville and eat there consistently for lunch. The location at Palomar center in Lexington is very nice and larger than the locations in Louisville. The bluegrass blackberry salad is my favorite and this was another great one. The service was very good and the staff helpful and efficient. I brought this back to my hotel but there were several people eating in the restaurant when I left. Great healthy food. Today was the day that we finally visited one of the locations. Two items on the menu are automatically vegan: one salad and one grain bowl. Meateater Hubby and I got them both! The Vegan Power Salad has quinoa, chickpeas, cucumber, tomatoes, red peppers, sunflower seeds, edamame, and a whole bunch of chopped greens. Wow what a great place! My family stopped here as we were passing through Lexington and are so pleased we did! Service was impeccable, food is stellar, and the lemonades are so fun! My kids were raving about everything. My ten year old said this is his favorite lunch place. We got the bluegrass blackberry salad and it was so good. The kids got the BLT and loved it too. They have great salad combinations made fresh, which you can modify or you can build your own entirely. I had the Vegan Power which sounds very "healthy-woo-woo" but I love each one of the ingredients so that's what I got. It was excellent! Daughter made her own salad and got the Caesar dressing which was unexpectedly spicy (in a mustardy-kind of way, so she would have chosen a different dressing in her otherwise wonderful salad). When I approached the counter, the woman said something and gestured to her face. I assumed she was telling me to put a mask on. They offer both signature salads and build your own. I ordered a signature salad: large Maki Shrimp salad that has chopped superfood and spring mix, shrimp, avocado, cucumber, red pepper, edamame, pickled ginger and a very nice spicy sriracha aioli dressing. Oh my goodness was it good and there was so much, I took most of it home to enjoy for dinner. We arrived at lunch time and the place was packed - a good indicator of a great restaurant. This is a post-COVID review so things are different I'm assuming. In this location masks are required and there is a occupation max of 22 patrons. Luckily we had masks and there wasn't 22 people, so we walked right in. There's signage on the floor to encourage social distancing, there are separate exit/entry points, and every other table is off limits. They have a nice patio available for seating as well. Another new placed I am happy to try and share my experience about! Since I am dieting, I figured a salad place was a good place to try. The staff here was super friendly and Informative. No rush as I studied the menu. I chose the maki shrimp because it had the lowest calories in their nutrition menu. Be warned, it definitely has a spicy kick. It's so good though! The dressing reminds me of yum yum sauce. All the ingredients taste really fresh, the restaurant was clean and service was friendly and quick. I also got a free drink as a first time customer! I enjoyed my lunch out on patio in the beautiful weather. The full size salad was $14 which I could not afford daily, but on a special occasion. LOVE. As I was getting ready to write this review I tried to think of at least one form of constructive criticism but I've got....nothin'! I've been to the location downtown (which is awesome as well) and just recently went to this new location. I LOVE their salad selections and the sizes of their salads. You can even do a "build your own" if you don't care for the options (which, let's be real you'll love their options). Also, their lemonades are fantastic. I usually am solely a water drinker when I go out but this is one place where I'll spend a little extra on the yummy lemonade. This time they had pina colada lemonade, mango lemonade, strawberry lemonade, and just regular lemonade. They've also had cucumber (which is my FAVORITE) and lavender. So time to be honest. I have never ordered a salad anywhere! I feel that ordering a salad is a waste of money when I can simply do it at home as a side item. But man has this place change my perception. I had the chance to discover this place through a Yelp event and now I can't stop craving it lol. I love spicy food and never did I image a grain bowl as satisfying but their new "Heart & Seoul Grain Bowl" is out of this world awesome. I can't seem to have enough of their gochujang dressing. I had to come back the next day to have it again. Also I love their concept of filling meals that support the local community. This is my first time ordering here after an underwhelming experience at another location. This experience was much better. I was greeted upon entering and the young lady behind the counter patiently waited for me to browse the menu. I went with the Acapulco Caesar salad and it was an excellent choice. The young lady put on fresh gloves and began to prepare my salad. When she was finished she showed it to me and asked me if it looked ok. I told her it looked great, then she put the lid on, bagged it and walked me to the counter. I asked for extra dressing and she gave me another container with no hesitation. I really enjoyed my salad alot. It wasn't your typical Caesar salad. In addition to the usual romaine, mozzarella & croutons, it also included red onions and grape tomatoes. The icing on the cake was the chipotle lime caesar dressing. It was unlike any other caesar dressing I've ever had. It had just a little kick that took the salad to another level. I got my salad to go, but I'd like to try dining in next time. It was stormy this evening, but I did notice that they had an outdoor dining area. I hate how hit or miss this place is. First of all PRICE. I walked in yesterday and got the same thing I got today and it was $2 dollars cheaper yesterday than it was today. Then the actual food. I got the same exact thing and today it tasted nothing like it tasted yesterday. I asked for cucumbers and the person making my salad actually tried to put 3 cucumbers spread out in the salad.. I was like "um can I have some more please?" Not sure if they're trying to save ingredients or what but 3 cucumbers?!?
