I went there yesterday for macaroni & cheese, went back today for tortellini, they have smaller portions also. 12/6/19 I've been here several times and each time has been a great experience. This place has many various delicious dishes. Some are carb sensitive versus others but nonetheless all very tasty. I ordered the pan fried noodles with steak and my mom had chicken pad Thai. We shared potstickers and grilled chicken Cesar salad. All food options ordered were fresh and delicious. I also ordered some gluten free Mac and cheese and the new cauliflower noodle dish to go, both were just as delicious as other dishes I've had. Would definitely return here again soon. read more

We visited Noodles & Co. today and was very disappointed with everything. The portion size was WAY too small compared to the pre-covid day. My wife and I have always been happy with this restaurant except our visit today. Overall the dining area was very dirty and look like to was in need of an update. I like the place if I have a BOGO. Otherwise, the entrees are too pricey. Personally, I always go with the Chipotle Adobo Pork. I like the spicy flavor, and I rarely go with anything else. But keep in mind a bowl (not a huge portion) pushes $10. So, if you're thinking that a restaurant called Noodles is gonna be easy on the budget, think again. My son likes the buttered noodles. It's a less expensive route to go, and the salty/buttery flavor is quite tasty. The wife usually goes with the Korean Noodles, which I also recommend. My baby girl loves spaghetti, but here I'd rate it as a strong avoid. The meatballs are as her sad, broken hearted, five year old voice described them, "Tasteless." Truer words have never been spoken. Y'all need to up your game on that one. But other than the price, I like most of the food. They do drop the ball in other areas, though. Service is quite good at the register and the table delivery of your meal, which is a surprise when you consider that the restroom paper towel dispensers were empty during my last two visits. Today both the men's and women's restrooms were devoid of the paper, which left us drying our hands on our shirts. It was twelve noon. You gotta be better than that, Noodles. The other issue we had is that they place the sauces above the silverware (knives, in particular). So, when you grab a knife, it's gonna be sticky from all the sauce rain that's fallen onto it. I don't like that. Again, most of the meals are good. But, stop by the ATM before going in. You're going to need more than you think. I don't go in without a coupon. Years ago, I was a big fan of Noodles & Company. I think I ate there once a week. That was also back when I lived in Illinois and had several locations to go to. And meals were a lot cheaper. And I had way more disposable income. When I moved to Kentucky, there were only FIVE in the whole state -- and just one in Lexington. This one. My disposable income has also decreased. Needless to say, I don't frequent Noodles & Company anymore. The few times I've craved their delicious pesto cavatappi (my favorite dish there), I have made the trip to this location. Note: this location is in a tough spot -- off a busy road (Nicholasville Road) that is sometimes difficult to turn out/into and with a weird parking lot. Interior is clean and spacious, though. There is a large menu on the wall when you walk in so you can peruse the various pasta dishes, salads, and add-ins. A large bowl runs about $7 and it's an extra few dollars to add in a meat (protein), which runs the dish at about $10. For some this isn't a big deal, but to me, being used to paying much less at Noodles for the same food (plus a salad in the past!), this kind of hurts. Now, add in a spouse and a child, and the bill can run up kind of high. Every dish is scrumptious, though. They always arrive fast, hot, and just the right amount to fill you up! And the kid's meal portion? Huge! My two year-old gets seemingly more than I do for under $6: a small pasta dish with two sides and a drink! (Maybe I should just order the kids' meal for myself......) Employees are also very friendly, and understanding -- which adds to the pleasantness of the meal. Overall, excellent meals & atmosphere here. Four stars because of the price. I can't justify coming here often. read more

My colleagues and I like to do group orders from this location. I prefer to get a lot of vegetables and have been able to modify my noodle bowl. We had driven past this place many times and never stopped but now we are addicted! We do love the entrees.. they are always fresh and fast and hot! My husband's fave is the Korean Spicy Noodles and I LOVE the BBQ Mac N Cheese even though I am allergic to jalepeno and constantly forget to ask them to leave them off so my hubby lovingly picks them out for me! But PLEASE PLEASE Noodles... it is hitting 100 degrees in our city, you desperately need more air conditioning... we always sweat while there and recently we chose to sit on the patio because it was cooler outside than in!!! read more

I went into this establishment for the first time today I have to say the food was absolutely amazing everything that we got we tried a few different things though grilled orange chicken lo mein potstickers the Mexican grilled corn salad we tried the Wisconsin mac & cheese and it was all amazing the only thing I would work on is the cleanliness of the store there was a lot of food all over the floor and dirty tables in the bathrooms weren't all that clean but I get it there were kids in there but that was basically the only thing everything else was amazing I would definitely recommend it read more

Tonight I had Noodles & Company. This has been my favorite place for Pad Thai. I usually call ahead and order. I was placed on hold for several minutes. I hung up and called and the line was busy. I ordered and was told I food should be ready in 5 minutes. When I arrived it was busy. I attempted to get a worker's attention to ask about my order. My order was sitting. The staff ask me if I had the order they put together. I said no and I gave him my name. He did not check other pick up orders. Needless to say the pick up process was disorganized. Secondly, the food quality has diminished as well. This restaurant was my favorite place for pad thai. Not anymore. The favor was off. Won a food tasting for 4 here. Called in advance & spoke with male manager to schedule day & time. On the day of tasting, no staff was aware of me & scheduled tasting apparently manager did not communicate with staff. However, April was very courteous and cater to me & my guests. It was some of our first experience there. Appetizers, entrees, & dessert were good. Great flavors! My only complaint was that my mac & cheeseburger bowl was not hot. My mom & I visited here for lunch in March 2022. I admit that we weren't really very impressed. First when we drove up, the building, parking lot & surrounding area looked sort of run down and in desperate need of some TLC. There was chipped, worn off paint at places, window sings were falling off, about 15 trash cans were scattered around the edges and just overall dirty. It looked like no one cares. Once inside, the same sort of "no one seems to care" approach was evident. The whole place looks in need of a deep clean. The floors were sticky and left shoe prints in the dirt, esp. in the bathroom. The door that led to the kitchen had dirt all over the bottom metal part where it must have been kicked to open. The entryway rug areas were all mashed down with grease & dirt, they definitely should be replaced if possible. The drink station area was a big mess all it's own. The machine itself had soda all over the inside area where you would fill your drink. The area beside it was not inviting and had no napkins. We could again see the window signs falling off. As far as service, the food wasn't bad, but the way it was presented by being packed up in a to-go bowl & bag was not a good impression for someone eating in. The crew themselves did not match in uniforms. The cashier even had a hoodie on. One lady, not sure if she was the manager or a crew member, looked dirty & really mis-kept overall. Her black pants were so tight you could see what was in her pockets. Her un-tucked, faded, sloppy shirt had stains on it. And her overall appearance looked like she had cleaned up some trash for closing and never went home to clean herself up & change. I'm not trying to sound rude, so I hope you don't see this review this way. I just think this restaurant could use some detailed attention and sprucing up. Hopefully the right management people will see this and put in a good effort to make some improvements. read more

The food was delish, we had Mac n cheese with chicken, spicy peanut noodle bowl and Asian BBQ meatballs. The meatballs were not a favorite... A frozen meatball with sauce.. Not exciting! Spicy peanut noodle bowl was excellent.... Fresh cilantro delivered a bright freshness. However, each dish that came out was a mess.. The girl cooking was sloppy.. No hair restraint.. I watched her move between cooking, talking on the store phone, running her fingers though her hair to texting... Not once did she was her hands. In general the staff reflects the restaurant.. It was messy and dirty all around and this was not a busy time.. It was 3pm. The order taker was extremely clueless as well, I watched her make a mistake on every person who came while we were there. Had the Japanese pan noodles. They had an unpleasant almost ashy aftertaste. I couldn't finish them. My friend had the pad Thai. It came with maybe 6 peanuts total, instead of the generous portion of peanuts one usually expects with pass Thai. When he asked the staff about it, he was told that was the amount if peanuts they add, and he couldn't have more. They were pretty rude about it. They had home made looking rice Krispy treats as a dessert option, but all of them were marked as at least 6 days old. Some of them had clearly been opened and rewrapped but were still up for sale. The price for the small size dish I got was too high. I would have expected to pay that for the regular size. Atmosphere was nice enough if you didn't interact with the staff. The soda machine was clean and had great variety. I won't be back to this location, and as it was my first noodles and Co experience, I have doubts about the chain. read more

My friends and I tried Noodles & Company on their opening weekend a while back. It was jam packed with people hovering over us, waiting for our seats. This did not make for a great dining experience. Likewise, the macaroni and cheese that I had did not live up to the hype, but I think that my taste buds were perhaps hampered by the diners staring at me, coveting my seat. Last night my friend and I decided to try it again, hoping that the lack of a crowd would allow us to give Noodles & Company a fair chance. I had the small buttered noodles. The noodles come with a light Italian seasoning and a generous helping of parmesan cheese on top. My friend had the Japanese Pan noodles. I became envious of that spicy entrée, but what can I say when I ordered a rather bland dish? I would like to return to Noodles & Company to try one of their Asian options. At the moment, the most impressive thing to me about this restaurant is the soda machine. This machine allows you to just have a regular soda, or a soda with orange, cherry, vanilla, lime, lemon, or cherry vanilla syrup. I tried an orange coke, then for my refill a cherry vanilla coke. I really enjoyed it and I wish more restaurants had these machines. read more

The worst food and experience ever. Our order (Can't be called food) was ready and sitting on the counter next to the delivery orders. They never told us it was ready or made eye contact when they sat it down despite being the only people in the restaurant. Only after other people came in , ordered and were eating and we asked where our order was twice they answered it was on the counter. Two of us threw it in the trash. They were the lucky ones. I wont be too graphic but waisting the food was preferable to the abdominal suffering from eating the meal. The Meatballs were tofu with no meat at all. It was horrible , salty and overpriced with only about an ounce of beef with the noodle dish. This was easy the worst restaurant I have visited in my life. I had to ask myself are the other people new to this restaurant? How do they stay open? Certainly nobody eats here twice. McDonalds is crap but better than this excuse for food. read more

I only have one complaint about this place and it's the same as with all restaurants: TURN THE STUPID MUSIC DOWN! I'm so tired of screaming to someone 2.5 feet away from me to have a simple conversation. Beside this problem, this is a great place to eat. Lots of choices and always fresh. This is the most important thing a restaurant can do: serve fresh fare. I'm SO glad that this place is in town so I can have a great lunch or dinner any time I'm in the Nicholasville Rd. area. So far I've tried about 6 dishes and my wife has tried at least 4. We loved every single meal. I absolutely love the Japanese Pan Noodles. I add steak usually. It's great. I actually LOVE noodles and company. I only gave it three stars because of the price. Price for me is a lot being a single parent. HOWEVER, that being said, if you order a regular sized pasta bowl and add a salad, it's literally enough food for two maybe three meals! It's just hard for me to justify $14 for one person for one meal. I have never had anything I didn't like though. I'm a huge pasta person so I liked everything from the pad Thai, to the spaghetti, to the Alfredo. The Caesar salad is really yummy too if you like salad. For a restaurant chain, it's very good and worth a try! My recent visit made this our third time eating here. What coaxed me back in was the Thursday night in January kids eat free with an adult entree purchase promotion. I kept it simple and ordered buttered egg noodles with grilled chicken, my husband went spicy with Indonesian Peanut Saute and my son got the Mac-n-Cheese with broccoli and apple sauce kids meal. Dessert was a rice crispy wedge and a chocolate oatmeal cookie. We waited 23 minutes for our food to come to the table. The broccoli was under cooked. The Indonesian dish tasted great but it seemed dry which was unappealing. The more simple noodles & chicken dish wasn't as dry as his and I did enjoy it. My favorite part of the entire visit was the rice crispy and least favorite part was the noise level. As a previous resident of Boulder, CO where the first Noodles open, I was very excited when I saw one was opening here in Lexington. The issues mentioned in previous reviews of space both in the parking lot and inside the building itself are understandable as I watched the building be converted from a fast-food joint into the current venue. Chad, the owner of the local franchise, is wonderful. After he noticed that I came back several times their first week open, he took the time to get to know me by name and stops to chat with me everytime I come in, no matter how busy they are. On the rare occasion my order doesn't come out in a timely fashion, or gets messed up the staff are more than willing to fix the problem and usually offer me a free dessert for the trouble. read more
