Let me start with the best/good...polite staff, engaging and clean. Areas of improvement includes the gel manicure. I don't know the name of the girl I had yesterday, she was very kind though. I told her I wanted rounded edges of my nails but not to point of almond shape. The nails are square and uneven/crooked. I didn't have a chance to look at them until I left, which I can deal with but it just looks sloppy and didn't leave a good impression. I don't plan on returning, for the cost of the manicure I shouldn't have to be filing them at home just to make them even and look better. read more

My cousin loves this place... so my aunt and I decided to go. I received the SNS service (real nails) and gel pedicure (French with both) It cost me $120.00. The SNS was applied paper thin... but I could tell the employees were ready go as it was closing time. The next day a nail chipped. I didn't make a fuss because I live in Shelby, and I wasn't driving to Gastonia for $3.00 repair. This morning I went swimming and another nail broke down to the meat! I have been swimming everyday for over a year with SNS and have never had this problem. I am in so much pain and will be removing the rest of the nails as this is an hazard/infection ready to happen. I have paid much less for much better! I will not be returning and I do not want them to fix anything! read more

Probably the cleanest nail salon I've ever stepped foot in. The employees were excellent and made small talk with the customers, which I enjoyed. The prices were fair so I chose a pedicure that includes a leg and foot massage and this was no 5 minute massage like you get at most places. This was at least 15 minutes per side. I also got my eyebrows waxed and found out that they even do eyebrow tinting for just $15.00. This place is just 5 minutes off of East Franklin Blvd. in Gastonia. I was very disappointed with my spa pedicure and gel manicure. My pedicure lasted less than 3 hours and my manicure looks like I did it at home. The nail technician did not take his time. I made a appointment for a gel full set with Linh and at the last minute I decided to get gel polish on my toes I saw them getting busy but yet Linh still made time for me and didn't rush through me at all. Okay.... So I'll start from the beginning by saying this was my first time at this location, and they're definitely following all precautions with Covid-19. Upon my arrival, I was asked to sanitizer hands, and to fill out paperwork stating that I hadn't traveled, and as far as I knew I didn't have any symptoms. A kind faced gentleman took my temperature, and then pointed me to the direction of a sink, as to wash my hands before being serviced. I was then asked to seat at the station of a middle woman, (NOW THIS IS WHERE THINGS GOT DIFFERENT) she kept insisting on me getting a Jelly service, but upon reviewing their many options, I still wasn't impressed, but she was for a lack of a better word PUSHY. The young man from earlier, then began to explain to me in detail what made this experience (his words not mine) so different, and honestly I was sold. I chose my jelly scent, and mentally prepared myself for the "experience" ahead of me. I'll be honest, his pitch was better. The older woman , then began to provide what I can only call mediocre service. She nipped the skin on my toe, and failed to check if I were okay. The water was HOT, and she never asked me if the temperature was okay, or if I'd like it to be adjusted. The bottoms of feet were not scrubbed, and she kinda scrubbed on the sides. She never offered me a beverage, even though another guest was offered, and she failed to start or even instruct me on how to operate the massage chair. At the end of my service she dropped my shoes by their dying station (while people were still standing there), and then proceeded to tell me my total. My pedicure alone was 55.00, but regardless of the price, good service trumps cost for me ANYDAY, so unfortunate for her, she didn't get tipped, which is a shame because I'm an awesome tipper. While I did love the location, and was extremely impressed with their safety concerns, I WILL NEVER let this particular woman do any of my services again. read more

Bout a month ago I took my friend and myself for mani pedi and service while we waited was fine then they sat us down and said someone would be with a shortly. Then two other people walk in they have them sit for a pedi and start working on them and ignored us. They could tell we were upset the finally they send someone to do one of our toes. After the fought with each other bout who was gonna do mine a lady came over. She was nothing but rude to me! She started the normal stuff and then went to trim and cut and she was hurting me and I told her. She did nothing bout it and ignored me and made my toe bleed !! I was in so much pain. When I left and to this day my toe is in so much pain. I wanted to wait awhile and see how my toe reacts to what she did and this is what happened. She was rude and didn't care if you were in pain. I really wanted to love this place. They were really nice people, don't get me wrong. Sadly, the first day I wanted to go in I made an appointment to make sure I was serviced at 11. It was 11:45 ish and I still wasn't serviced. I asked her if I could just come back the next day and she apologized about her not being able to get to me and said of course I could come back. I was happy about this and the fact that she apologized. I understood they were busy and were down a person in staff. I went back the next day and was quickly seated. Once again, the lady was super sweet! I didn't notice while I was there but I was a little disappointed when I got home and it looked like my nails had been rushed to get done and they were already chipping. I came here to get my nails done before a special event. I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. My pedicure is excellent! I came in 5 days ago and there is no chips or imperfections. My manicure is another story. I have gone to great precautions to keep my manicure looking good (such as wearing gloves when doing dishes and avoiding anything that might damage them) and it started chipping a few days ago. Several nails are about to start peeling off. I am very disappointed and won't be returning or recommending. read more

Loved the quiet environment the first time although I didn't like the owner's urgency to close. It was 5:15 and I requested a pedi which takes approximately 30 minutes. She told me I must come on another day because they close at 6. My daughters gel polish was pretty, however. Went a second time at 5 the first words out of her mouth was she close at 6. All I wanted was gel polish for my daughter. That was the last visit for me. Luckily there is another kid friendly salon a mile down the street from her. Thanks for closing at 6.
