I booked the therapeutic and talked to the massage therapist about my needs. She was able to get everything I needed done. Kristin had excellent knowledge and very good client interaction. From what I recall, there were no locks on the doors, which made the space feel less private and secure while changing. I want to recognize the massage therapists and estheticians, as they were exceptional. They were welcoming, professional, and provided excellent service. They were truly the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, our experience with the front desk staff was disappointing. When we booked the spa package, we were not informed that the relaxation area was an open space located in the lobby with only room dividers for separation. We had expected a private relaxation room, so the open layout was surprising and did not provide the peaceful atmosphere we anticipated. Additionally, no one explained which amenities were included in our package upon arrival. There was a red light therapy room adjacent to the relaxation area, and we mistakenly assumed it was included. A front desk employee responded by raising her voice and informing us that it required an additional fee. A brief explanation of the available amenities and package inclusions at check-in would have prevented this misunderstanding and created a much more positive experience. The refreshments also felt underwhelming for a spa package, consisting of packaged Costco madeleines, Lindor chocolates, and lemon water that was described as infused water. Finally, the relaxation area itself was quite small, with only two spa chairs, a table, and two couches. It did not appear to comfortably accommodate a group of up to ten people. Overall, while the massage therapists and estheticians provided outstanding care, the lack of communication regarding the spa package, the limited and public relaxation space, and the unprofessional interaction with the front desk staff significantly impacted our experience. With clearer communication, improved customer service, and more accurate expectations of the group amenities, the experience could be greatly enhanced.
