I had sinuses problem for a whole year without knowing it was sinus problems, cant smell or taste, headache etc., you name it, it was horrible, cant focus on anything. Went to many doctors and they all diagnosed me with acid reflux and they even did a camera check in my throat and found nothing, cost me $5000 just for wrong diagnosed , thanks to Souther Hill hospital ( completely scam ). Then after checking and couldnt find the problem of acid reflux, the doctor said " call us tomorrow for a follow up". I called the next day and GUESS WHAT?!?! The scammer doctor said " call us back in 3 weeks" , 3 WEEKS?!?! I might as well just die. So I took matter in my own hand and found Dr.Vincent Nalbone after a quick search around the area, called them and they said come in tomorrow so I did. The process of getting in was welcome and easy, the staffs were all lovely and smiley. QUEEN was helpful on taking me inside and get me going with a CT scan then NICOLE came in with a smile and cared about what I concern, showed me the inside or my nose and carefully explained to me whats wrong with my sinuses, compare my scan with a normal person scan and recommended me for a " Nose Synuplasty procedure ". After the procedure with DR. Vincent Nalbone ( thank you DR ) , I went home to rest and beautifully, the office called me 2 days in a row to check if I was ok and said if ai concern about anything please give them a call. From a POV of a patient , I feel warmness in my heart as my nose healing. 2 weeks went by, I could breath normally and could smell everything including " ALL DA NASHTY THANG IN THE WORLD AGAIN " .I went in for a Post-Procedure follow up. Saw QUEEN and NICOLE again, they were lovely and gave me great news on my sinuses after a few checks. I dont understand about all the nasty review about this WONDERFUL PLACE !?! Initially everything seemed great. They recommended a balloon sinoplasty. I never even saw the actual Dr., as he only came in to the procedure room after I had been given the pre-procedure drugs. The procedure happened quickly and apparently smoothly. But then? My sinuses were infected for over 2 months, and I still don't think they are fully healed nor clear of the infection. I am STILL getting the pieces of plastic out. Then the bill came. 2x as high as they said *(not that they would let themselves get pinned down in the office about how much it would cost). I am almost 6 months since having the procedure and still fighting with their billing service and my insurance. Vincent Nalbone's office failed to inform me of a possible leak in a cyst found in my sinus. When confronted about why I was being referred for an MRI after being told it was optional by the practitioner Abby who was handeling my case, she informed me that Nalbone wanted me to have one. She forgot to place me on hold and I hear her asking other staff memebers why the MRI is ordered. To have my doctor not be able to explain to me why I am being asked to receive a service that I felt was unnecessary is an extreme concern. After never having met or been physically seen by Nalbone, I asked Abby for a referral to see a new doctor given that they could not give me clear answers on what was going on with my case. Nalbone calls me with a condescending and disrespectful tone to the point where I had to ask him why he felt it was ok to speak to me in that manner. When he finally explained why I was being ordered an MRI, he THEN informed me that my CT was showing a potential leak in my cyst. I had a CT done on Monday. I went to Dr Naibone for what I thought was an ear problem as my ears were draining liquid at night and I was losing my hearing. I first saw his nurse practitioner who listened carefully and then explained the interconnection between the sinuses and the ears. she looked in my ears and saw the swelling and crusting in my ears but said the eardrums looked normal. she took pictures of the inside of my sinuses and showed me where the canals were narrowed and in one area where a part had a empty area where there shouldn't be one. she showed me my pictures compared to normal pictures and we scheduled a procedure. Dr Naibone performed the procedure and he was nice and gentle with me when it hurt. I am recovering now and can't say anything but nice things about the whole experience. read more

3/20/24 update: went to a different doctor for a second opinion since my smell and taste is still affected. He did a CT scan and said whoever performed my surgery 10 years ago (Nalbone) shaved the turbine too much and probably damaged the nerve at that time and then the balloonplasty Nalbone performed put pressure on the nerve and destroyed it further. He said I didn't need the balloonplasty since I wasn't blocked. I spoke to someone I work with and he said Nalbone also messed up his daughter's nose after it was broken and they had to go to another doctor. I can say that this office and staff are excellent. I had an appointment in only a couple of days and everything was very easy. I was called a couple of times for information and the lady I spoke with was very pleasant and caring. On my way to the appointment, I had to call the office for directions and both times they put me at ease and told me exactly how to get there. When I arrived at the office everyone was smiling and very helpful. One of the office staff even helped me with my medical history. My wait time was only about 5 minutes. After I was shown into the room, the tech did my history and asked if it was ok to do a ct scan so they could look at my sinus passages. I agreed because I was there to find out what was going on. After the scan the PA came in and explained what was going on. She was so nice and caring. I felt like I was well taken care of. The PA's name was Nicole and I would recommend her to anyone. My experience with Dr Nalbone is this: he is a specialized highly - skilled surgeon. His team is very proficient and knowledgeable. When you go to the office for a consultation you actually talk to Dr Nalbone. He is straight to the point and won't talk to you about the weather or your kids but here is what he does do: First - he is the one that assesses you and determines your course of treatment. Second - all during my procedure he kept asking me if I was okay, was there any discomfort, could they get me anything, etc. I felt that my health and well-being were his utmost priority. This office violates HIPAA laws. They called me regarding a family member's procedure, and without me identifying myself, gave me specific personal details. They were able to contact the patient herself, and did so, but then called me to "reel her in" because she was dissatisfied with her procedure and told them so. They had absolutely NO reason to contact me as an emergency contact. It was NOT an emergency, they just wanted to vent to me as her family member and cover their butts. PLEASE go somewhere else. I was hopeful about this evaluation and this clinic/doctor b/c it was easy to get scheduled, easy to reschedule when I accidentally double-booked w/ work, and Jessie seemed polite and responsive via email. Fast forward to the afternoon prior to my appointment and I'm told they can't verify my insurance. Okay. They ask for my benefits number and SSN. I get a call back from Jessie in which I'm told, "Your insurance says you're ineligible." I pointed out how strange that was, given that I've had this insurance, in some form since 2008. She was quick to cut me off, several times, talked in this breathy gushing voice that "I'm not calling you a liar" and telling me "there is nothing we can do." The conversation needlessly escalated b/c she constantly interrupted me and talked down to me like I was a child. She actually hung up on me too. Nice work, Jessie! Great customer service! Went for the ballon procedure. Was told with my 2 insurance $25.00. The procedure was initially good but as soon as spring allergies came it was not a huge improvement. 4 months later I get a bill for $900. Big difference. I would not recommend procedure for that amount. And to top it off they don't send you a bill just a text. When I called the billing department I had to leave a message. Dr. Nalbone, more like " Dr. Bonehead" did a tonsillectomy on me which resulted in being admitted into the hospital for two weeks for pain management. He and his staff were NOT sympathetic to my complications and pain issues after my surgery was done. Once he had my payment and the procedure was done, I was yesterday's news. He is an ENT (ears, nose, throat) doctor, however come to find out his specialty is plastic surgery, face rejuvenation? WTF... If I could go back in time and not have had him perform my tonsillectomy I would in a heart beat! I went through hell, was bad enough I was 31 at the time, this is really a procedure that should be done in your youth. He did not make it any easier for me. You would think if a Doctor performs a surgical procedure, they would be attentive to aftercare such as prescribing pain medicine as needed. I was in a lot of pain. My throat was RAW. He prescribed codeine which did not even phase the pain. He says go to ER if I want something better. What kind of Doctor does that? Yeah I did as he said and Southern Hills hospital ended up keeping me for two weeks my condition was so bad!!! The hospital staff was horrified when I told them how he handled my issue with the pain I was suffering from. A lot of these Doctor's in Vegas are Quacks! He is one of them in my opinion! I've been going to Dr. Vincent Nalbone for years now. It started out with constant tonsillitis after a year or so it got worse. Almost every month I would be sick with fevers and throat pain. He suggested to do a tonsillectomy and I agreed. Best decision ever made! He is very friendly and will answer any question you have, so be prepared! He recommended my son have the Balloon procedure Which was great we thought he finally get relief. If I could put zero stars I would. This office scams you. I had surgery with this doctor about four years ago. I remember they were barely any charges. I have Culinary insurance and it is amazing. This time I paid $30 for a co-pay. Almost immediately they said I had to have a CT scan and I asked if covered by insurance. They said it was. Things were extremely rushed and something just wasn't right. Nap one came in and barely 'looked' at my scan results for maybe 20 seconds. He took a straw object and maybe took 3 seconds to look in my nose. Nothing was even inserted.. When I went to see the doctor I had a sinus infection so of course there was going to be an infection on the slide. I told the doctor that maybe I should come back when I am not physically ill and that maybe it would go away. Of course, he said it would not. Dr. immediately said I needed surgery and Even before he was finished, some lady shoves a paper and pen in my lap. I said that maybe I would like surgery in the future due to the fact I have a new career in the medical field. I thought this was a bit odd she told me to 'sign for later..' A few weeks later I got a bill from my insurance. Itsays that I had the surgery and there is a huge charge for a CT scan which should be covered by my insurance. (It is 'in network..' I checked.. it also says there needs to be a PA) whenever I go to a different doctor and they need to get a prior authorization when you are on site, they come back and let you know what the co-pay is I'm asking if you want to pay it. This did not happen... There are a few more reviews like this so please look out. I will not be paying these ridiculous amounts because they did not do a surgery in office and only the CT scan, which I also feel I was tricked into..and also signing for a possible surgery..the lady stood there and watched me sign. They did not even ask me to read the paperwork..There was nothing even put my nose at this visit. I will do what I can to bring this office down because charging for things that did not take place is absolutely ludicrous! If you look at other reviews giving him one star, you will see that Dr. replies..trying to call out the patients' of education, competency, etc. he never once apologizes for anything, but ridicules the patient. Lifelong allergic rhinitis sufferer here. I began experiencing episodes of not being able to smell scents in 2016. It would return to normal from time to time but by 2018 and that whole year long, I couldn't smell ANYthing. In early 2019, started getting stuffy ears that wouldn't depressurize, and annoying random nosebleeds. Dr. Nalbone to the rescue! After a CAT scan he walked me through my issues and got me scheduled for surgery. Several nasal polyps got removed and all my FULL sinuses ballooned. I came to Vegas ENT after a horrible experience elsewhere that left me in tears. I lost my sense of smell and taste about 3 years ago and when I started smelling gasoline for 8 days straight, I finally went to the doctor. Dr Nalbone took his time with me, asked me questions and listened to what I had to say. I felt like he cared and was genuinely concerned. After a CAT scan, my whole left sinus was blocked. The office manager, Ellen, is an absolute saint and called me on both Wednesday and Thursday prior to my Friday procedure to ensure I wasn't anxious or scared. Today I had the Ballon Sinuplasty and Tribunates reduction. Dr Nalbone and his team were really amazing. I was very hesitant at first because there were plenty of bad reviews but mostly about the office staff and bedside manner. I went with my instincts which have never failed me thus far. Dr Nalbone is very capable of doing his job and everything he can to heal your sinus issues. He was very professional and talked me through the whole procedure every step and explained exactly what he was doing. He was very professional and I experienced great bedside manner. His NP staff were very professional and compassionate. During the procedure his NP held my hand because she saw that I was nervous and wanted to assure me that I am ok. I thought that was very sweet. I had no pain during the procedure. I just felt pressure but it wasn't too bad at all. The front office staff were courteous and friendly. I have been to just about every ENT here in Las Vegas, I had a deviated septum. The first Doctor I went to said, "No need for surgery." Then why can't I breathe right? I do have allergies, but I have taken every known allergy med under the sun, All they did was make my nose warm. All these ENT'S did was write out scripts! So, script after useless script and doctor after useless Doctor, I found one that did the septoplasty with turbinate reduction. A year later her retired and the Turbinate was back, This Doctor "B," NEVER took a CT scan before or after the surgery and then, he retired in the blink of an eye. Then I found Doctor V Nalbone. He was on the other side of town, but I had to try him as a last resort, He was my only hope. I am so glad I went to Doctor V Nalbone. His staff was very friendly and helpful! I had a bilateral balloon procedure on April 4, 2020 and I have minimal bleeding and I feel good. This is the second day too. Visited this office twice for wax build up in my ears. The first time I didn't see the doctor, but saw an NP or tech of some kind. She examined my ears and said she was going to write me a prescription for drops to soften the wax, and schedule me to return to have the wax removed. She told me that I wouldn't be able to pick up the drops until the next day because they had so many prescriptions to phone in that they couldn't get to them all in one day. In retrospect, I should have just had it filled myself. Long story short, they sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy. Fortunately I called ahead and didn't waste time making a trip for nothing. However, when I went back to have the wax removed I told the NP or whatever she was what had happened, and got the most insincere "Oh, I'm sorry about that" that I've ever heard in my life. I guess the drops did their job, but I have to say I had more discomfort and reduced hearing after I started taking them than I did before. By the day before my next appointment I had tinnitus in one ear along with some pain, and I was generally concerned that I might have some degree of permanent hearing loss. I called the office and the girl who answered the phone wouldn't answer my questions - she just kept saying that the drops were softening the wax. I asked to have the woman who examined me call me back, and I was told that she would within an hour, but she never did. My appointment to have my ears cleaned was at 4:15, so I expected there to be a wait since all doctor's offices are backed up by the end of the day. However, it was over an hour before I saw Dr. Nalbone. On the positive side, he did a good job removing the wax and I had no after effects. Just wish the staff wold have been a little more competent and compassionate. read more
