My glasses broke and they were brought back and she did replace them, however she said "Be careful these are cheap glasses" . The lenses still do not seem right and I will be following up with an Ophthalmologist. However I do not recommend this location, particularly if you have UFT Optical Benefits. As a new employee who started with my company in the last few weeks, I am fully covered and can be seen by ANY provider-- and have confirmed such with my HR department several times today. My insurance WILL PAY. However due to the holidays and employee availability, my coverage is not yet confirmed with my insurance provider BCBS. This is purely an administrative timing issue related to my recent start date-- and I would be fully covered in the event I was seen by any provider. However--- due to the self serving policy of Morris & Romanelli, they refuse to see me unless they can confirm I am covered WITH the insurance provider. It is 4 days before christmas, I have called over 36 different eye doctors, no one has appointments. I can see why Morris & Romanelli has an opening--- because they are heartless and their customers know it. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR, EVER!!! It was quarter mile down the road from my job. I get off work at 5, so I figured 530 would be perfect, which is when we booked the appointment for. Thursday, I get a phone call asking if I could move my appointment to 6:00. Annoyed - I took it anyway because I really wanted this appointment. For that hour wait, I decided I could go grocery shopping across the street in the mean time. Friday afternoon at 2:00, they called me and asked me if I could come in at 6:30 instead. Now, I'm mad. They told me that the doctor wouldn't be in the office until then. I decided to keep it anyway. So now, I'm waiting in my parking lot for an hour and half. Until I finally drive over there, and wait another 20 minutes because the doctor was running late. I didn't think she was friendly. She threw her purse and other items she ran in with into the room scattered all over the chair. So unprofessional. She then told me why she was late and that she had to get pictures with her son for Prom, so she had to drive to Nassau all the way back to Suffolk County. Are you serious? So she knew about his Prom a very long time ago, but decides to not take the night off and instead piss people off? That's what I call a good office. NOT. Never again will I come back here.

Two years ago my daughter and I went to Vision World for new glasses because it's among the few…read moreplaces that accept my insurance (besides Cohens which is the worst place to go). The staff was polite, and they tried their best to be helpful - not in a way that really suit myself or mu daughter. I need glasses for both distance and reading, so the doctor recommended bifocals - in my early 40s, I did not want bifocals, plus I don't need to wear them for everything - for moderate range, I don't need the glasses. However the doctor and the lady at the desk kinda pushed the issue and the doctor shown me an example where you don't see any embarrassing tell tale lines in the bifocals, so I decided to give them a try. Next part, choosing frames, I purchased frames from a separate retailer prior to the visit knowing what I had in mind, but the doctor said they were too small for bifocals and had the lady at the counter show me some and show my daughter some for her distance only glasses. Thing is, she was only showing me the stuff in the range of my insurance- which would have been fine and appreciated- if I wasn't willing to spend extra out of pocket money to get exactly what I wanted and she nor the doctor seemed to understand I didn't care about extra costs, I didn't like the insurance frames and would have happily spent extra money on a nice pair of frames. Well, I ended up with the insurance frames which weren't the most horrible but not exactly my style and same for my daughter...Fast forward about 10 days when we go back to pick up our glasses. Not happy. The bifocals had that embarrassing line, and they hurt to try to look through but they said to test them out for a couple of weeks that I would get used to them. Fine. At first my daughter thought her glasses were fine too, until she actually tried to see something 8 feet away that was completely blurry - her prescription is either too strong or not strong enough. I tried the bifocals for two weeks and HATED them. I ended up going back to have my prescription separated- a pair of glasses for distance and a separate pair for reading - which the doctor really didn't want to do but because I wasn't happy with the bifocals he done it. Only thing is, my prescription wasn't accurate either- the distance glasses aren't strong enough. The employees here aren't bad, they do seem to try to help you stay within the parameters of your insurance but the most important part - getting the prescription wrong is a big problem. Lens Crafters doesn't take my insurance but they are the only vision center that ever got my prescription right and I got the exact frames I wanted.

They also did not find my eye insurance initially. If I give you my insurance card, wouldn't you maybe ask about that? Had the customer service been better, that would have been one thing, but it seemed to me that they just saw me as a dollar sign. They sent me two reminder emails about my appointment. Went to the appointment and the next day I got an email "sorry we missed you." Did they check to see if I went? Sorry to miss my payments? Well, check your records, because I went. won't be returning.
