NFCU repeatedly blamed Apple for the issue. However, after a thorough investigation by the Apple Store, Apple concluded the duplicate charges appeared to be related to a processing issue connected to Navy Federal Credit Union rather than unauthorized fraud activity. I also requested a detailed transaction and merchant report identifying where the charges originated, but I never received the requested documentation. Through my own investigation, I later discovered my grandson had access to my payment information on his iPad and had been making in-app purchases without my knowledge. I reported this information to NFCU, but my concerns were largely ignored. Despite my cooperation and efforts to resolve the matter, I was ultimately prohibited from using my debit card for one year. The handling of this situation and the overall customer service experience have been extremely disappointing.
