    Lemon drop martini
    Jana J.

This is my first time here, and it was with my partner and his company for their holiday outing. The staff did a great job of taking care of us, although we were a party of about 25 people, spread out in the small tables of their back room. The lemon drop martini was great, a little on the south side, which I don't mind. The Caesar salad was a good starter, as were a few appetizers (not pictured) that we started our meal with. I wish I remember the name of my pasta dish, but I don't see it on the full menu. We had a limited menu for the company party, but this was a cavatappi pasta with a white sauce, and I added shrimp to the dish. It was excellent! I also got to try The chicken Parmesan, lasagna, and a few other dishes. All were great for the price point. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot for a casual date night, or a group event of any kind!

So me and my wife paid to have my sons wedding reception dinner at vincenzos a group of 37 people the service was acceptional the 2 girl servers we had were super fast very polite and friendly, The food was good accept for my wife's meatless lasagna was to spicy to even eat for her nowhere in the menu did it say it was spicy and my mother in laws lasagna was crazy spicy so some enjoyed their apps, dinner and desserts the fact my wife couldn't enjoy her lasagna really annoyed me it was the one thing she really likes at least she enjoyed her fettucine, I mean paying $1200 for a massive group you would think they would try not to mess up dishes, so some got to enjoy the food they ordered my mother in law was only able to take one bite of her lasagna it was to spicy for her so it was a ok dinner.

Very warm and friendly service with an old-world Italian atmosphere. Leann was our server and she was fantastic. Great personality and we enjoyed the dialogue. No vermouth this night, so we opted for a bottle of chianti classico. We began with the brushetta. Delicious bread with a slice of roma tomato with melted cheese. The cheese they use is not mozzarella, but their mix of a few cheeses (has sort of a predominate American cheese flavor). My wife had the pesto tortillini, which she loved. I sampled and agreed. I had the Salmon Vincenzo's which came with a Ceasar salad. The salmon was a perfect medium and delicious. I did not care for the crabmeat stuffing and I don't think the stuffing cared for me later that night. Next visit I would have just the plain salmon. The highlight of the evening was dessert and the Limoncello cake - simply delicious and we highly recommend.

This place is always good, food is solid. Need to step up their wine glass game, but pretty typical for Italian joints. Angel hair pasta, blackened salmon, & chicken franco, all excellent!

A Lively Spot for Husker Game Days Our recent visit to Vincenzo's Ristorante was on a Husker game day, so the atmosphere was especially energetic and fun. The restaurant was packed with people celebrating the game, taking in the excitement of a big Husker Volleyball and Football weekend.. To start, we shared an order of crispy calamari - a nice light appetizer before our entrees. I opted for the trifecta: chicken parmesan, lasagna, and fettuccine alfredo. Getting to sample three classic Italian dishes was a treat! My daughter ordered the tortellini with pesto cream sauce. The portions were modest, allowing us to enjoy a little bit of everything. The quality of the food was very good across the board. The chicken parm had a nice crispy breaded exterior while the pasta dishes were rich and flavorful. The pesto cream sauce on the tortellini was a standout with its fresh herb flavor. Our server did a respectable job considering Vincenzo's was likely short staffed on such a busy game day. While the service wasn't exceptional, our waiter was pleasant and able to meet our needs. I'd say the service landed somewhere in the fair to good range. The energy and excitement of celebrating Game Day at a local Lincoln favorite like Vincenzo's is part of what makes this restaurant a go-to spot. With classics like chicken parm, lasagna, and calamari fritte, it's the perfect place for Italian comfort food before or after cheering on the Huskers!

Phenomenal old school Italian food, reminds me of my great Aunt's cooking. We have loved this place for years, but recently they added Door Dash which is so much easier for my disabled husband. He is a fan of the eggplant parmigiana, and the chicken soto is my go to. The portions are very generous, which makes a great lunch for the next day. Highly recommend for dine in or take out, as well as Door Dash delivery.

what can I say. was excellent

    What's the best dish here?

Depends on what you like. The calzones are amazing! The pizza is great too. I personally am all about the pasta and usually get the pasta piezano!

Enjoyable experience here. Lincoln only has a handful of sit-down, fancier, Italian joints but this…read moreone is worth a revisit. Fancy on the inside but prices are really pretty reasonable. I got the Carsoni (pesto) and did both chicken and shrimp which was $22, it's enough for two meals though so this is fair. The sauce was flavorful, good consistency of oil and basil. Loved that it included mushrooms but could have used more of them in it, also had bell pepper and broccoli. I'm not sure broccoli goes too well with the pesto dish, but it was steamed well and soft. The shrimp were huge and they had 4-5 in the dish. We also did bruschetta as an app, and loved the fresh tomatoes/garlic/herbs on top. Loved the dipping sauce with the bread as im a balsamic/oil freak. The soup was just okay, it was a creamy chicken/potato but it was very pureed and not quite what I was expecting, I'm not sure there was even a chunk of chicken in it. I've definitely had better next time, I'll be inclined to try the salad instead. Drinks were fun, I enjoyed the black raspberry margarita flavor and a limoncello spritz although both appeared a bit too watered down and not too strong. Service was fine, however hard to really judge since we came during mid-day late lunch and I'm pretty sure we were the only table there.

I love chicken piccata usually order it all the time at Italian restaurants. This one is in my opinion too heavy on the citrus. Needs more butter or a heavy cream in the sauce. The citrus is way too acidic and over takes the whole dish. Doesn't really flow well. I ended up taking all the butter from my rolls which are delicious by the way. Putting all the butter into my dish and mixing the pasta up in it. That made it far less acidic. The soup was good can't remember the name sorry. The olive oil mix they serve with the bread is fantastic. Thanks

Right away we were greeted, my coat was taken and we were seated. We came pretty early in the evening and there weren't many people in the restaurant. I was disappointed to have been seated at a 4 person table in the middle of the room while there were plenty of smaller, two person tables more tucked away which would've offered a more intimate experience in my opinion. We started with the Burrata and M.D. Polenta. The burrata was as you'd expect but the Polenta was my favorite dish we ordered. It had so much flavor and basically melted in your mouth. It was even better to add it on top of the focaccia and burrata! For our main courses I ordered the Tajarin Dalla Forma. It was a fun experience to have them come to the table and spin the pasta in the cheese wheel but I wouldn't say the pasta was anything exceptional. Honestly, it tasted just like Annie's boxed white cheddar Mac and cheese. My boyfriend got the NY Strip (it was $83) and he said it was the chewiest steak he had ever had. It was cooked medium rare as he had requested but there was literally no explanation for how chewy it was. He makes better steaks at home on the stove top. The lobster tail I will say was the best lobster tail I've ever had. Overall, the service was great but the food wasn't worth the price you pay. If you're looking for a good steak, this isn't the place to go. I also disagree with friends and family, this isn't the best restaurant in town. Highly recommend DISH if you're wanting a high end dinning experience

Unfortunately, Piezano's just didn't hit the mark for us. The biggest issue was the quality of the food. The pizza lacked freshness and flavor, and overall it felt poorly executed, especially for a place centered around pizza. It wasn't a matter of personal preference or style -- the quality itself was disappointing. That said, the staff were very friendly, kind, and attentive. Everyone we interacted with was polite and tried their best, though the team did seem quite young and possibly undertrained, which showed a bit in the overall experience. The most concerning part of our visit was the bathroom, which was absolutely disgusting. Cleanliness is a basic expectation for any restaurant, and this alone would make us hesitant to return. We really wanted to like this place, but between the food quality and the cleanliness issues, we don't see ourselves coming back. With some serious improvements to cleanliness and food execution, it could be better -- but as it stands, it missed the mark for us.
