First time at napoli's We were seated immediately and greeted cheerfully. Hubby ordered a diet coke and i got iced tea with lemon. Iced tea was inconsistent. The first glass was very light second was darker. Taste - regular iced tea. Nothing special. Meals were to be served with bread rolls Bread rolls came with my soup Bread rolls were soft and fluffy absolutely delish. The soup was pretty good - just a bit too salty for me i could feel salt granules. My salmon palermo was a tad bit overcooked for me. Still edible but a bit dry. The pasta was also a tad bit overcooked- tried hubby's spaghetti and that was truly al dente. My spaghetti had broccoli and tomatoes in it. And it was pretty nicely seasoned with a splash of tang from lemon juice. Tiramisu was pretty good. I still prefer the traditional tiramisu with just cocoa powder on top. This has chocolate sauce on the top. Not a deal breaker - just my preference Overall, decent meal. Might not be back so soon though coz of hubby's meal. I had the works spaghetti and it came with a small house salad She brought the bread, it was nice The salad arrived it was lettuce, red onion and a couple pieces of cherry tomato. Next the entree. We tried this while visiting Lincoln. Wasn't terrible but not likely to go back. The restaurant is in a strip mall and looks okay on the outside. Inside leaves a bit to be desired. While clean, certain parts seem dingy. Ceiling tiles that look spray painted and others with holes cut in them. The food was okay. The rolls were over cooked and blah tasting. My chicken parm was fine as was my daughter's spaghetti "my way". My wife enjoyed her butter gluten-free penned and sausage. My son ordered a full sized pizza. The black olives tasted off. The kids menu lacked any variety for picky kids (especially if they don't care for Italian) and didn't even include a small size pizza. Each added ingredient was an upcharge. Also, their beer list was not updated when everything else was reprinted. The beer I wanted wasn't available anymore. The beer I had in it's place was not a direct style replacement but was good. Honestly I've been here 3xs hoping it'd get better. The oil they give fit their bread is terrible, and their baked pasta has so much cheese on the top it's like a huge gum ball chewed in your mouth! Unassuming Italian in an older strip mall. I started with an amazing martini from the Summer drink menu. Limoncello and vodka with a beautiful float. think I'm putting a Pinot noir float on more cocktails! The mushroom part of the stuffed mushrooms left a lot to be desired. They were so small they were less than a bite. The sauce was a redeeming factor but not worth the price. We were served two very large bread rolls. They were good but a little over baked. We both chose baked pasta combos. Both were good but not anything unique. Portions were good sized for the price point. The lasagna is a meat lasagna but not a lot of flavor. The breaded chicken was flavorless on its own and rather spongy. The marinara and al pana sauces were both great and the highlight of the entrees. The food was terrible and it was not traditional Italian food. I know because I'm Italian. The shrimp scampi smelled like vomit and tasted horrible, the calamari smelled very fishy and was very rubbery, the pasta primavera had weird Vegtables and a red sauce not typical of this dish. Never have I ever seen this dish with green peppers, black olives and broccoli! It was absolutely horrible. We ended up throwing away half of this order. My younger son and his gf liked their tortellini and lasagna but they have low expectations when it comes to take out. My wife and I ate there this evening. We were very disappointed. The bread and salads were good. However the entrees were not . The chicken in both of our orders was tough and tasted like it had been reheated. I hate that flavor. I would imagine that this is an effort to speed the order up but I have cooked enough chicken to know that cooking sliced chicken from raw to flavorful does not require much time at all. I can't recommend this restaurant based on the fact that it uses chicken in there entrees that has been precooked and chilled. It has a horrible texture and flavor. read more

Surprised we apparently have not been. Actually..:this is our 4th choice for dinner this afternoon/evening as we're making our way home after a br event. And this looks great. Our other choices were too long waiting, or closed, or something else. This is beginning very good. Beautiful cheesecake dessert first. And we will share are variety plate of pasta, sausage, lasagna, tortellini, ravioli and was real good. Great service from our attending lady. We will surely return. read more

Tried Napoli's in Lincoln for some good take out and Italian and it was awesome! Our order was ready as expected and for a large group of 8 people - all of our stuff came as requested! I got the kids cheese ravioli with a side of alfredo sauce and it was great! That meal + the free bread filled me up. The adult meals are large portion. I would recommend! read more

Wow a hidden gem in the little plaza, I would have never heard of it if it wasn't for my husband! Him and his coworkers go here often. The menu was extensive but not overwhelming, the portions are so huge it could feed a family of 4 I think! Their bread is the best bread I ever had it's almost a croissant like texture very delicious. The staff was 11/10 above and beyond. I highly recommend coming here! Ordered seafood Alfredo as takeout. Got home and literally no seafood in the dish. I have had this dish a couple of times in the restaurant and was great. Hubby and I wanted someplace new so tried Napoli's. It was during COVID and things were just opening up again. We were the only ones there for an early dinner. It's a big place with comfortable seating. I wish I could say I liked the food, but it was just OK. They bring sweet bread knots to munch on while you wait that where very good. I had Shrimp Scampi. I expected a creamy sauce, but no, not. Husband had Salmon Creamore really enjoyed it. His did look better than mine. Check out the pictures. I will pass on a return visit. read more

Ate again at Napoli, at the vote of coworkers.... Calamari was still decent (although much more obviously "freezer to fryer" on the product-- no more tentacles, just fishy rings; super loss there. Asked for wine list, was told most wines on list weren't available and was offered 3 basic California wines as well as a low grade Chianti. The server (manager) apologized, gave a management-ready excuse for sad wine list and tried her best. Food came out about 6 minutes apart per guest on a table of 5, so we all sat there awkwardly while food got cold until everyone's dishes arrived. Server was again apologetic and kind. Overall, this place feels like a poorly managed truck stop.... All of the kindness won't save anyone who chances upon this shithole. read more

Just got a cheese pizza with extra cheese for take out and it was blah. Even though it looked like it was going to be good, it was very bland and with little taste. Some frozen pizzas have better flavor than this one did. The service was excellent though, very pleasant staff. May give another chance with other italian dishes, but this just not a place for pizza. read more

Ok so me and my wife have been struggling since we moved here (Texas transplants) to find somewhere that has flavor... well let me say this... this little tucked away establishment finally made us feel like home. I wasn't very impressed with the food. The rolls tasted undercooked and like they had been frozen, the steak was overly fatty, I was kinda struggling to find the steak in the fat. The chicken in the chicken parm was rubbery and tasted like it was frozen as well. For as pricey as this place is, the food tastes extremely cheap. There were also so many flies around our table, I felt like I wasn't able to enjoy my meal with my partner bc I kept having to swat off the flies. Most priced under $10 Salad wasn't super special but the dressing was. The ranch was clearly house made and lots of flavor and the house Italian was different with some crushed tomatoes, oil, and herbs. It was tasty, as were the warm rolls. Food arrived perfectly timed after our salads were done. Baked ziti and penne with sausage,peppers, and onions. We shared bites and both agreed it was super tasty. We had the Damabianka with chicken and the Tour of Italy. While we waited on our meals we enjoyed fresh warm bread and cozy creamy potato soup. For dessert we split a slice of Limoncello Mascarpone cake. From start to finish the meal was exceptional! We get to Napoli's 2-3 times a year and are never disappointed. On the plus side the food was excellent. Started with crab stuffed mushrooms. The mushrooms were tasty but the sauce was the highlight. I had the Veal Parmigiana over spaghetti, nice size veal cooked to perfection and again the sauce was exceptional. My co-diner ordered Seafood Alfredo which had a good portion of seafood al cooked well. Again the sauce was top drawer. It's been a long time since I've had Italian food this exceptional. Now for the minuses. Starts with my order of scotch and soda with a twist. Yes I'm old and did not expect to have a par time bartender know what a twist was. My issue was they could have asked. Having white table covering is a nice touch but the stuffed mushrooms were served without side plates because the waitress took them away before serving the appetizer, when we dipped it was hard not to have drops of sauce hitting the white covering. I had to downgrade because of the service. The waitress was young and friendly but not that attentive. Not a surprise but still a little annoying. My final thoughts food 5-star but the service average. Too bad as Napoli,s is an above average place for Italian food. read more

This is the best Italian food in Lincoln! Between dine in and take out we have sampled a wide variety of delicious food. All of the pizzas are great! Lasagne was tasty. Chicken Cacciatore divine! Unfortunately had to wait an hour for the food and when it arrived it was pretty underwhelming.
