Lunch is a part of the tour and Dave serves it at one of the wineries so you can enjoy a glass with lunch looking at breathtaking views. I couldn't imagine doing this tour and tasting so much wine on my own. Having a professional wine guide ensures that you can safely enjoy the wines without worrying about driving yourself! We were also hoping to grab a table and enjoy a few wine flights. Instead, the owner immediately told us they were too busy to accommodate us. When my mother-in-law asked if she could at least purchase her wine, the owner told her she could "try to go in there," but they were so busy that it would take a long time for anyone to help her. She then told her that if she really wanted to, she could go to the left, grab her wine, and leave. We've been coming here since they opened in 2014, so this treatment was shocking and incredibly disappointing, especially coming from the owner. The most frustrating part? We walked into the retail area to buy the wine, and there was no one in there. There were also empty tables available. We couldn't help but feel that because we were on a girls' weekend wearing funny wigs, we were judged the moment we walked in and didn't fit the atmosphere they wanted. After years of supporting this business, they've now lost a loyal wine club member and several longtime customers. We will not be returning. If you're looking for a winery where customers are welcomed and treated with respect, we'd recommend Mackinaw Trail instead.
