They had some really gorgeous finished pieces. I was particularly drawn to a fireplace they had created using multiple glass sculptures. I had never seen anything like it before. They also had some fruit pieces and owls that my husband was fond of. They have lots of ornaments, vases and paperweights as well. We so appreciate the uniqueness and the craftsmanship of each piece. This is an actual working glass studio, so after a while we were able to see a young woman working with some glass. We have seen this many times before but it's always fun to watch someone creating. It ended up getting a little too hot for us and we had to leave, but we learned a lot before we did. They take great pains to recycle all of the glass here and use it in so many creative and imaginative ways. They also offer make your own experiences where visitors can participate in creating glass art. If you're passing through, I definitely recommend a stop here. Even if you only have a little bit of time, it's worth a quick browse of the gallery and a great way to support local artists.

Pepperoni on the pizzas were generous, and the pasta had a perfect amount of cheese flakes that added just the right amount of additional flavor to the pasta. The cookie on the skillet was fantastic as well. Comes with a melting ice cream which made the dessert even more enjoyable. Waiting staff was kind and patient, which helped us because we were exhausted and hungry and couldn't make up our minds fast enough. Much appreciate them. The restaurant faces the golf course greens which is a delight to eat any meal over. Strongly recommended if you are staying at the Bandon golf resort.

The trio working on this night, I saw helping one another serve food, clean tables, deliver drinks and more for the whole place whether it was their table or not. Kudos! With SO many people ordering we got to see a variety of food items pass by us from the menu. Everything looked amazing! We finally settled on the Ragu, Cioppino (seafood platter - shrimp, sablefish, clams and scallops). The egg noodles were nice and buttery in the ragu. The sablefish, was the fish in season for Cioppino, which was delicious. Great food, ambiance, scenery and views. My wife and I stayed at the Redfish Loft and had a very relaxing time while there…read more It sits atop the Redfish Restaurant and adjacent to the Hawthorne Gallery in Port Orford on the southern Oregon coast. At the time of this writing, it's only a little over a year old. Very upscale looking and classy, with works of art throughout the loft. You'll find a bamboo floor and a large, comfy couch. At your disposal, you have a flat screen television with cable, mini-fridge, coffee maker (fresh coffee, tea, cider, nuts, etc are provided), iPod dock, free Wifi, king-sized bed, gas fireplace, walk-in, stone shower, large soaking tub, and one of the most gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean on the coast. You can have wine and food delivered to the Loft from the restaurant below or go down for a bite. The only downside is that you may find music soaking through the floor of the Loft from the restaurant below. Also, I would have liked a microwave in the room. Port Orford is a small town with an over-priced grocery store (Ray's Foods) and restaurants that tend to open and close at a whim. Nice place for an Oregon coast stay.
