Nathanial found and corrected so many issues that the previous installer (who was either not an electrician or a terrible one) had made. He made sure our house was safe and took the time to show and explain to us clearly any issues that arose. Nathanial is the best and you can tell how much he cares about his work. I think our house had one of the worst electrical situations possible, and I think it would be rare to find other electricians in the state who could have handled the job as expertly as Nathanial and Scott did. In my last two communications while scheduling work to be done, and confirming a time schedule, along with a process for communication outlined and confirmed by the scheduler via email, the electricians did not receive the communication properly. The time "windows" for an appointment are too wide. Because of this, you may want to plan on "waiting" for an electrician to show up, or they may show up 3-4 hours earlier. If you choose to use Hill Electric plan on being available all day. If you have a job, you may want to take a day of vacation to make sure you are at home all day,..to meet "their" schedule. They don't seem to respect a customer's time schedules. Then again,..there are so many new homes and apartments being build in this county,...they probably don't need to solicit business, and thus, may be ok with losing loyal customers. Just a thought.

Harmony was suggested to us by our plasterer during a walk-through of our house. We were interested…read morein having some electrical work done and she suggested Harmony and that we have it done before she did her work. I contacted Harmony the next day to set up a visit. They were quick to respond and scheduled a time to come out and do a walk-through and estimate. The estimate was very reasonable and we scheduled the work. The day of, the technicians showed up about 90 min late, but since I had the entire day off it didn't cause a problem. They worked for approximately 5 hrs to do everything we needed and then clean up. In total we had a bathroom exhaust fan installed and vented, two wall outlets installed, a bedroom light replaced with a ceiling fan, a kitchen light replaced with a ceiling fan and three recessed lights installed in our hallway. The end product was excellent (there was some plaster damage, but this was expected and our plasterer is coming out in a month anyway) and we are very satisfied with their work. I would highly recommend Harmony and we plan to have them back to do some more work in a couple months.

I talked with the technician and explained that I needed a service call because I couldn't figure it out. He gives me a friendly suggestion to look for a "hidden" second GFCI, and voila there it is. I reset the 2nd one, and all is well. Point of the story is that they could have just scheduled a service call, but they were friendly enough to help me figure out the problem without me needing to wait (and pay the-stupid-tax for an obvious problem that wasn't really a problem - I won't deny it). Sure, they have better things to do than make an "idiot" call that can be fixed in 30 seconds. Nonetheless, I consider the fact that they gave me their advice "great". And so my 5 star in the review.

They got the fixture wiring working and installed a new grounded outlet in my 5x8 bathroom. That outlet had never been grounded. Said it would take an hour, they were there an hour. I realized last-minute that I needed to get an electrician in between two other scheduled jobs and happened to find Jason's number. He worked us into his schedule, did a phenomenal job despite some big challenges that our house presented, and was extremely reasonable to boot. He said he just checked the outside unit and it seemed to be blowing hot air indicating it was working. Honestly it wasn't working when I checked it the evening before - my aura must be old & tarnished. Like me. Good thing Monte's isn't. Just the trip charge - worth it. I've made a service appointment to get the oil changed and tires rotated on the furnaces and air conditioning unit and I'm certain whomever they send will bring the aura, too.
