The chef Ryan is so talented and passionate. The whole story as to how this started and how the team came together is so inspiring. The food was fantastic as was the drinks, ambiance and service. They also have other locally made products from around CT including milk, cheeses, honey, jams, maple syrup, pies, ice cream, plants, dog treats, and more! I got a bottle of Chocolate Milk from Hyde's Dairy Farm (located in Franklin, CT) and it was so chocolatey and delicious! The stand is open every day 9AM-6:30PM from Memorial Day through December 31st, and Tuesday-Sunday 10AM-5:30PM from January 2nd to Memorial Day. From November through May, their CT Handmade Gift Shop is open and filled with beautiful creations made by local artists throughout the state. When I went, there was one female employee working behind the counter who was very friendly. Make sure to stop by and check out Killam and Bassette Farmstead!
